3. Entry is only open to residents of Australia, aged 18 or over. Directors, management, employees, officers and contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoter or of the agencies or companies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter.
4. The competition commences on Monday 3rd November and concludes on Sunday 16th November at 5pm (Promotional Period). All times are AEDST.
How to enter
5. To enter the competition, purchase one of the products featured in the November 2014 “Pharmacy Best Buys” catalogue (excluding scheduled medicines) (Advertised Products) from a participating “Pharmacy Best Buys” pharmacy during the Promotional Period, complete an entry form found in store, attach it to your receipt and place it in the entry box found in store within the Promotional Period. 6. For the entry to be valid, the official entry form must include the name of the entrant, permanent address, phone number, product purchased, receipt, staff name and pharmacy name where product purchased. Validation and identification must be shown if requested. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure their details are correct. The Promoter accepts no liability in the event the entrant’s details or entry form is inaccurate or incomplete.
7. For the entry to be valid, the official entry form must not have been tampered with in any way. The form must not have been made illegible, re-issued, mutilated, altered, stamped paid, marked void, stolen, misprinted, counterfeit, re-constituted, or defective as this will render it ineligible for a prize.
8. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
9. The winning entries will all be drawn at random at the offices of Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Limited: 250 Camberwell Road, Camberwell, 3124, VIC on Wednesday 3rd December 2014 at 12 noon AEST.
10. The winners will be notified via mail and phone. The names of the winners will also be published on
www.pharmacybestbuys.com.au by Friday 12th December 2014. The winner located in South Australia will appear in ‘The Advertiser’ on Friday 12th December 2014.
11. If neither a phone number or address of the winner is supplied or they are incorrect, then the winner will be disqualified and a new winner will be drawn.
12. The Promoters may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.
13. If any of the prizes are not claimed by 12 noon AEST on Wednesday 4th March 2015,the winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to conduct further draws at 2pm AEST on the Wednesday 4th March 2015 at the same location as the original draw as are necessary to distribute the prize, subject to any written directions given by the relevant gaming authorities

15. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any eligible entrant where the Promoter believes that the entry or the entry process has been tampered with or where any entry has been submitted not in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
16. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any lost, late, misdirected claims or correspondence due to incorrect entrant information.
17. The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not be able to participate in the promotion. All personal information collected will be dealt with in accordance with Australian privacy laws and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at
www.pharmacybestbuys.com.au/privacy-statement/. The Promoter will not disclose this information to anyone other than contractors who provide services to the Promoter for the purposes of conducting this promotion unless compelled or permitted by law.
18. If the prize is unavailable, the Promoters, in their discretion, reserve the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
19. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without notice, to cancel, modify or suspend these terms and/or this promotion in whole or in part, including, but not limited to in the event of fraud, technical or other difficulties or if the integrity of the Promotion is compromised, subject to any written directions from the various lottery departments and without liability to the participant. The contact details of the winning entry may be passed onto a third party for prize notification and fulfilment.
20. The prizes cannot be assigned, transferred, redeemed for cash, or substituted except by the Promoter who may at their sole discretion, subject to the relevant state authorities, substitute any prize with one of comparable value if the advertised prize is or becomes unavailable for any reason. The Promoter will not replace any lost or stolen prizes, or take responsibility for any broken products in the delivery of the product or after it has been delivered. It is not the responsibility of the Promoter to insure any products.
21. If for any reason the winner does not take the prize by the time stipulated by the Promoters, then the prize will be forfeited.
22. Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating prize provider(s), if for any reason the winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take the prize (or an element of the prize) at the time stipulated, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
23. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
24. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoters reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
25. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner (inc. photograph, film, and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited time without notice or remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition.
26. The total prize value of the promotion is approximately $2,745. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Should the delay in delivery of the specified item be excessive; the promoter reserves the right to change the model at an equivalent value subject to state legislation.
27. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, direct, indirect, special or consequential loss, or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using any prize.
