Tasman $100 a Week Gift Card Competition Terms & Conditions
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions of entry.
The Promoter is Tasman Market Fresh Meats Pty Ltd (ABN 35 164 501 133) of 1st Floor, 25 Ross Street, South Melbourne, Victoria 3025. (Ph: (03) 8325 8600).
The competition opens 09.00 AEDT 14th July 2014 and closes 17.00 AEST 21st December 2014. ("Competition Period").
Eligibility to Enter
Entry is open to residents of Victoria who are 18 years and over and who reside within Australia. (“Eligible Entrants”)
Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter.
Only one entry per week is permitted per person.
The Prize
The prize pool consists of:
1 x $100 Tasman Market Fresh Meats Gift Cards
How to Enter
To enter, Eligible Entrants must complete the following during the Competition Period:
log onto
www.thetasman.com.au (“Competition Website”);
complete all of the mandatory fields on the Competition entry page, including signing up to the free Tasman e-Newsletter;
agree to the Terms and Conditions and to being contacted by the Promoter in conjunction with this Competition.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for:
Any late, lost or misdirected entries; or
Instances where Eligible Entrants are not entered into the Prize draw due to forces beyond the Promoter’s control.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an Eligible Entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the Eligible Entrant.
Prize Draw & Winner Notification
The Prize draw will take place weekly for the period of at the end of the promotion, on each Tuesday from the 22nd July 2014 until 21st December 2014. The winner will be drawn at 12:00PM AEDT 22nd July 2014 and on each subsequent Tuesday upto and including 21st December 2014 at Tasman Market Fresh Meats, 1st Floor, 25 Ross Street, South Melbourne, Victoria 3025 (“Prize Draw”).
The Prizes will be awarded to the winners, which will be the persons named on the entry form (completed in accordance with 8(b)) (“Winner”).
The Winners of the Prize Draw will be notified in writing via email within two (2) business days of the draw and will also be posted on the Tasman Market Fresh Meats Facebook page and website.
The Winners are to contact Tasman Market Fresh Meats, 1st Floor, 25 Ross Street, South Melbourne, Victoria 3025, within 14 days of receipt of their written notification.
The Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize in the event of an Eligible Entrant being unable to satisfy these Terms and Conditions or forfeiting.
General Conditions
The promotion is one of a game of chance. All valid entries will form part of a random draw.
The Prize is not transferable, non-redeemable for cash or kind and must be taken as offered. No responsibility is taken for the winner’s loss of the prize. No responsibility is taken for any additional costs incurred as a result of taking the Prize.
The Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
In the event that the Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, unless to do so would be prohibited by law.
The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of the Winner and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this Competition. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this Competition.
The Promoter collects personal information for the purpose of conducting this Competition (which may include disclosure to third parties, including Prize suppliers) and for promotional purposes. Entry is conditional on providing this information. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant, including sending the Eligible Entrant electronic messages. Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information and obtain a copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy by emailing the Promoter on . All entries become the property of the Promoter.
Should an Eligible Entrant’s contact details change during the Competition Period, it is the Eligible Entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, (including but not limited to) any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this competition.
The Prize is based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.
It is a condition of accepting the prize that the Winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize and the Prize supplier’s requirements.
It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any written directions given under State Regulation.
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
If for any reason whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter this Competition is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any written direction given under State Regulation.
In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions under applicable law) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition.
The laws of Victoria apply to this Competition to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
