Giveaway: Muse, The World's First Brain-Sensing Headband

Top of the morning, folks! It's the holiday season, and we wanted to bring our readers a little something special. That's why we've partnered with our friends over at Muse to bring you our favorite tool for doubling down on your meditation efforts.

Completely funded via Indiegogo, the Muse headband is the first tool of its kind that works with your mobile device to track your brain activity to help improve focus, attention and composure. Similar to how a heart rate monitor works to detect your heart rate during physical exercise, the Muse detects as records brain signal during focused-attention exercise (meditation).

The Muse uses the science of EEG (short for electroencephalography) to detect electrical activity waves emitted from the brain. Long, slow waves mean you're calm (or sleeping), and fast, short waves are typically indicative of high-brain activity, common when learning or in high-stress situations.

We love it because it makes the practice of meditation trackable and actionable. At the end of a session, we often ask ourselves - did it work? Did I meditate? Have I improved? Though we've certainly reaped the benefits over a long period of time, having a tool like this early on would've been incredible to help us get there with more certainty. See a sample session below.

The Giveaway

Now here comes the cool part - we've partnered with Muse to give one reader a free headband ($299 value).

How to Enter

Enter your email address in the Rafflecopter below.
Just so we're clear, entering your email address opts you into receiving weekly emails from Topwick for exclusive savings and content.
