TRADE PROMOTION / GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (Western Australia)
Instructions on how to enter form part of these terms and conditions. If there is any conflict between these terms and conditions and any other published material, these terms and conditions are to prevail.
The promoter is Royal Resorts (Australia) Pty Ltd ACN 077 161 954
One (1) entry form per person will be allowed. To be valid each entry form must be legible and include the entrant’s: name; age and email address. Entrants must be aged eighteen (18) or over for an entry to be valid. By entering this competition, entrants provide consent to receive marketing and promotional material from the promoter. Entrants may opt out of receiving marketing and promotional material from the promoter. For more information on how entrant’s personal information is handled, please read the promoter’s Privacy Policy which is available at
www.karmaroyalexperience.com.
Entrants in the competition will be deemed to abide by these conditions of entry.
Entrants agree to make themselves available for publicity and promotional purposes.
The promoter will appoint an independent person to scrutinize the drawing of the prizes whose decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
Entry is open to residents of Western Australia who fulfill the participation requirements. To enter entrants must be complete all the required entry details on the entry coupon.
The last date and time for entries to be accepted is midnight 30 March 2015 .
Entries to the competition can only be submitted online by following the instructions on the entry form.
The winners will be notified by telephone and the results of the draw will be published in The West Australian Newspaper.
The competition will award fifty one (51) prizes which are:
Major Prize: Seven (7) nights accommodation for two (2) people at one Karma Resort location (world wide) of the prize winner’s choice. Return business class airfares are included (estimated retail value $15,000). If business class airfares are not available to chosen destination regular economy airfares are included in the alternative. No refund will be applicable for the fare difference between business class airfares and economy airfares.
Runner-Up Prizes: Twenty five (25) separate prize draws each allowing two (2) people to spend seven (7) nights accommodation at Karma Phuket (“Phuket Prizes”) and twenty five (25) separate prize draws each allowing two (2) people to spend seven (7) nights accommodation at Karma Chang Mai (“Chang Mai Prizes”). Total retail value for Phuket Prizes and Chang Mai prizes accommodation is estimated to be $70,000. Flights are not included for Runner-Up Prizes. The prizes will be drawn in the order of the Chang Mai Prizes, the Phuket Prizes and then the Major Prize.
The winners of the competition will be selected by computer generated selection at 5:00pm on 31 March 2015 at the promoter’s office being Unit 6, 355 Stirling Highway, Claremont WA 6010.
The results will be published on karmaroyalexperience.com.
The promoter will notify the winners by phone notification by calling the phone number given by the entrants.
The prize can only be claimed by a winner presenting a valid identification (copy of driver’s licence of passport) to
lynn@karmaroyalexperience.com within fourteen (14) days of the winner being notified. Once the winner has been identified a prize voucher will be sent to the address nominated on the winner’s entry form.
If a winner fails to send identification within the fourteen (14) days of being notified the promoter will re-draw the prize in accordance with the procedure set out above. This process will continue until winners claim each prize.
Prize vouchers are valid for twelve (12) months after which time they will expire and become void.
The promoter, judges or independent person will not be liable for any losses or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained, in connection with the promotion, the use of the prize or any fact or omission (whether negligent or not) of the promoter, the judges, independent person or their respective agents, employees or contractors.
The prizes (or any part thereof) cannot be sold, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken for cash.
Any taxes and/or charges imposed by the Australian Government and/or by foreign governments and/or authorities on departing passengers are payable by the passenger at the time of ticket issue that otherwise are not included in the ticket price.
Accommodation is subject to availability at the time the booking request is made.
A valid passport is required for all International journeys.
Travel insurance does not form part of this prize and it is strongly suggested that winners arrange adequate travel insurance, at their own expense, for the entire duration of the trip. Meals or tips, transfer fees (other than specified), airport transfer fees, excess baggage, government taxes, airport charges, travel insurance, spending money and any other personal expenses not specified in the prize package must be paid for by the winner.
The Major Prize winner ticket holder is entitled to the normal baggage allowance as per applicable airline rules.
The prizes cannot be taken in conjunction with any other offer by the promoter.
The Major Prize winner must depart from Perth International airport. The winner will be responsible for finding their own transport to and from the airport.
No employees, family members or affiliates of the promoter will be eligible to enter.
