In 2014, Damien’s big brother, Will, won the IndyCar championship making him one of the world’s best at driving really fast in a circle. It also made Damien ponder why do we anything?
He live tweeted during his brother’s winning race, causing a sensation that was picked up by US TV,
earning him thousands of followers and a glimpse into his brother’s surreal world. Damien’s IndyCar stand up went viral, finding its way to an audience that didn’t often watch Australian stand up.
Raw and assured, Damien’s social and political commentary is razor-sharp. Based in Brisbane, he
performs his uncompromising comedy to all comers. With big fans amongst Australia’s biggest comedians,Damien is one of the most exciting new faces to hit the comedy scene in recent years.
This growing reputation has also lead to him being hand-picked by Jack Black to support Tenacious D on their Australian tour and scored him an invitation to perform at the 2014 Just for Laughs festival at the Opera House.
