Win a $15,000 garden makeover including an edible garden thanks to Scotts Competition Terms & Conditions

1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material), which may be amended or varied at any time by the Promoter.
3. Guru Productions Pty Ltd is the Promoter of this competition.
4. One entry per person only is permitted and any additional entries will be removed by the promoter at their convenience.
5. Entrants must only enter in their own name. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity and age, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity (if required) in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
6. The competition commences at 7/3/15 and concludes on 16/5/15 at midnight AWST .
7. Entries must be received by midnight 16/5/15 AEST. The time of entry will in each case be the time the entry is received by the Promoter’s database. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries including entries not received by the Promoter or delays in the delivery of the entry due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.
8. Entry is only open to permanent residents of Australia who are aged 18 years or over. However, employees of Guru Productions and Scotts Australia and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
9. The prize is a $15,000 garden makeover, including an edible garden. The prize includes edible plants, soils, fertilisers, garden design and labour at commercial market values. It does not include “other” landscape products or building licenses, engineering certificates etc.
10. Entry is via The Garden Gurus website and The Garden Gurus facebook page. Entrants must name a brand of the garden product available from the Scotts Australia family of products available through leading retailers, list their name and address, city and state and ‘like’ The Garden Gurus Facebook Page and share it with their friends for valid entry.
11. To submit a complete and valid online entry, entrants will be required to provide various personal details including full name, email address, residential address, contact phone number/s, for the purpose of verifying eligibility. Any contact details entered incorrectly shall invalidate the entry. Online entry is free however Internet connection rates apply.
12. All valid entries are made allowing the promoter or Scotts Australia to contact them at a later date unless the opt out button is ticked.
13. Participants will be required to answer a question in order to be eligible to enter the competition. Illegible, incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.
13. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in the determination of the winner. Each entry will be individually judged according to its merits on the basis of skill determined by the Promoter in their sole discretion. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of Promoter, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter. This includes, but not limited, to entrants and households using multiple email addresses, postal addresses or PO Box addresses. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause.
15. The cost of accessing the promotional website will be dependant on the entrant’s individual Internet Service Provider.
16. The winner will be drawn on 22/5/15 at 9 Gay Street, Dianella, WA, 6059, and contacted within seven days by telephone or email.
17. The Promoter will make all reasonable effort to contact the winner. If the prize is unclaimed within seven days from the date the winner is drawn, an unclaimed prize draw will be held on 1/6/15 at 9 Gay street Dianella, WA, 6059. The original winner will forfeit the prize and the winner of the unclaimed prize draw will be notified by phone or in writing within fourteen days of the draw.
18. The winner’s name will be announced publicly through our Facebook networks, and on our website thegardengurus.tv and in any publicity relating to the competition.
19. The prize will be delivered to the winner before September 1, 2015.
20. All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Promoter who may publish any of the entries received.
21. The prizes are as stated and are non-transferable or exchangeable. No cash alternatives will be offered.
22. Privacy statement: We will only use and store your personal information for the purposes of providing you with more information about our products and services, including sharing it with any other organisation that helps us provide goods or services to you (e.g. Delivering your prize to you).
23. In accepting the prize the winner is required to allow Guru Productions landscape and television production crew to visit the garden and document it on video being installed if required by the promoter. The owner and winner needs to be available to appear in a filmed session of The Garden Gurus revealing the garden.
24. The prize will be determined by the designer and limited to the total value of $15,000.00 including GST.
25. The garden makeover is limited to the value of $15,000, and this does not necessarily include a whole of garden build.
26. The promoter will cover public liability insurance to the value of $2,000,000.00 AUD. All on site insurances will be the responsibility of the winner.
