Terms and Conditions
Entry is only open to Australian residents. Employees (and their immediate family) of the Promoter, sponsors, volunteers, participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
Each person taking part in the Alliance Française French Film Festival competition may only participate once.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
To be eligible to enter, participants must fully complete the official entry form available on the Alliance Française French Film Festival 2015 website:
www.affrenchfilmfestival.org and answer the question: “Which new major city is hosting the Festival this year?”
Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable for cash.
Promotion commences on 03/02/2015 and ends on 28/04/2015 ("Promotional Period"). All entries must be received by 11:59pm AEDST on 28/04/2015. The draw will take place prior to a final judging which will take place at Alliance Française de Sydney, 257 Clarence Street, Sydney NSW 2000 on Wednesday 29/04/2015 at 3:00 pm AEST. Winners only will be notified by e-mail or telephone.
Consent of parent or guardian must be obtained where a minor may be a participant in the competition. If the winner of a prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parents or guardian.
Prizes will be finalised and determined at the Promoter's sole discretion and are subject to the “sponsors” terms and conditions, as included in Prize Details below.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter.
The sponsors are Sime Darby Motors Wholesale Australia Pty Ltd trading as Citroen Automobiles Australia, Societe Air France trading as Air France KLM, Entire Travel Connection Pty Ltd trading as French Travel Connection, Rail Europe 4A trading as Rail Europe, (together the "Sponsors").
In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that prize or element of the prize.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in its sole discretion to (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to state legislation.

PRIZE DETAILS
FIRST PRIZE DETAILS: The best entry as determined by the judges will win the First Prize.
The First Prize consists of Two (2) Air France Return economy tickets Sydney-Europe (valued at $5,000), A unique All-Inclusive Club Med holiday in the French Alps (7 nights for 2 adults, at one of the following resorts: Val d’Isere, Valmorel or Peisey-Vallandry. Return transfer is included from/to the following train stations: Bourg-St-Maurice or Moutiers), a cooking workshop at Le Cordon Bleu Paris for 2 adults. Includes a 6-hour course in a professional kitchen with a Le Cordon Bleu Chef. Subjects may range from seasonal cuisine and patisserie to the secrets of specific ingredients. Macaroons, terrines, and petits fours are just some of the options.

1. AIR FRANCE PRIZE - SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Prizes and values are as follows:
· The competition will designate 1 winner who will be attributed the following prize: Two return economy flights to France valued at $5,000 AUD.
· Prize is not transferable and is not redeemable for cash or any kind.
Air France prize specific Terms and Conditions:
· Travel is subject to availability in T class. It is appreciated that you give us at least 7 working days prior notice from the intended travel date, but we suggest booking your travel date as early as possible to ensure availability.
· Please note that Air France has a blackout period over Christmas & Easter. Please note also that flights during holidays (July to September) are usually heavily booked. We advise you to book early.
· Ticket must be issued before 31 December 2015 but travel is permitted until 22 April 2016. Departure from: Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Coolangatta, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney Travel between Australia and Asia is to be on the services of Qantas in economy class.
· Travel between Asia and Paris is to be on the services of Air France in economy class.
· Validity of the ticket(s) is 6 months from the date of departure and all tickets are to be used together, on the same travel date.
· Date change permitted within the 6 months’ validity at a fee of AUD180.
· Air France prize winner’s tickets are not transferable, not cash-redeemable, non-upgradeable and their validity cannot be extended. (The winner of the ticket(s) must be among the travelers)
· Any taxes and/or surcharges, and additional costs are not included in the prize and are at the Prize Winner’s own expense and responsibility
· Frequent flyer points will not be awarded on this airfare.
2. CLUB MED PRIZE - SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Prize is valid for 7 nights for 2 adults (18yrs+) in club room and can only be redeemed at one of the following Club Med Resorts: Val d’Isere, Valmorel or Peisey-Vallandry. Your prize must be used by 30 April 2016 and dates are subject to availability. Black out period applies for peak holiday travel (Christmas and NYE) and French school holidays. Your holiday must be booked within 3 weeks before departure. Prize is not redeemable for cash and not transferable. Flights have to be arranged by Air France. Return transfer is included from/to the following train stations: Bourg-St-Maurice or Moutiers. Other transfer options available at extra costs.

3. LE CORDON BLEU PRIZE - SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Throughout the year Le Cordon Bleu offers a wide variety of themed hands-on courses. Subjects range from seasonal cuisine and patisserie to the secrets of specific ingredients. Macaroons, terrines, and petits fours are just some of the options.
This is a hands on experience alongside Le Cordon Bleu Chef who will guide the participants during the class. This 6-hour course takes place in a professional practical kitchen. All necessary equipment and ingredients are provided and you are free to take home your day’s work. The uniform include an apron, a side towel and a isotherm bag.
The prize is valid until December 31st 2016.

Le Cordon Blue Paris celebrates 120 years of excellence in 2015

Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for other prizes or cash. If any prize (or any part of any prize) is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may in its sole discretion, reserve the right to substitute the prize (or part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.

By registering as a participant, you consent to subscribe to Alliance Française French Film Festival e-newsletter and also to the Alliances Françaises of Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney e-newsletter (if you do not wish to register to these e-Newsletters, please do not register as a participant).
The Promoter may transfer collected information to its partners. You acknowledge that such transfer may occur, and that its partners may continue to use your Personal Information. In such instance, your Personal Information is governed by its partners’ respective privacy policies.
The Promoter collects your personal information to assist us in providing the goods or services you have requested, to process your competition entries, and to improve our products and services. We may be in touch by email to let you know about goods, services, or promotions which may be of interest to you. We may also share your information with other persons or entities that assist us in providing our services, running competitions or with other companies who provide prizes for competitions or reader offers.
By entering the contest, the participants accept these Terms and Conditions. The participant's entry will be deemed void where it does not comply with any of these Terms and Conditions.
