97.3FM is on the hunt to find some of Brisbane’s best home cooks and we are giving you the chance to win big with 97.3’s Mystery Box challenge, thanks to MasterChef!
Simply tell us your best recipe using all three of the following ingredients: Chicken, Cauliflower and Garlic.
Each morning Robin, Terry and Bob will select one finalist to come down and Join the team at Spring Food + Wine for the ultimate MasterChef Mystery Box challenge on Thursday 7th May.
All 9 finalists will then be given the challenge to battle each other and tempt the taste buds of Robin, Terry and Bob for the chance to win $10,000.MasterChef Judges Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris and Matt Preston are back as the 2015 season of MasterChef returns bigger and better than ever!
This year the best home cooks in Australia will be serving up the most amazing food the competition has ever had.

Entries close Wednesday 6th May 2015 at 7amThroughout the registration period, 973FM listeners will need to go to the listed website and register their details and answer ‘In 100 words or less, ‘You best homemade recipe including the three below mystery box items?’
Mystery Box Items – Recipes submitted must include the following ingredients.
There will be a maximum of nine (9) minor prizes consisting of one (1) x $200 Coles Voucher.
There will be a maximum of one (1) major prize consisting of $10,000 cash.
Total maximum value of each minor prize: AU $200.00 Total maximum value of all minor prizes: AU $1800.00 Total maximum value of the major prize: $10,000.
Total maximum value of all prizes: AU $12,700.00

All entrants under the age of 18 must have permission from their parent or guardian to enter and/or claim their prize.973FM will judge all entries based on their creativity and originality.
The nine (9) entries that are deemed to have the most creative and original entry from all the entries received will be selected to win the minor prize and nominated on air by the breakfast announcers to participate in the 973FM Breakfast MasterChef cook off on Thursday 7th May 2015.Entries must include the Three Robin, Terry and Bob Qualifying items. Please note these ingredients maybe different in the MasterChef final cook-off. Each minor prize winner will be required to cook their best breakfast dish as described in their entry on the day of the cook off and present to the 973fm Breakfast announcers for judging. A breakfast dish might include but is not limited to hot dishes, cold dishes, smoothies etc.
All contestants in the 973FM Breakfast MasterChef cook off will be contacted with time and details for the cook off by a representative from 973FM.
The 973FM Breakfast MasterChef cook off will involve:
-All contestants will be required to cook their dish on site at the 973FM Breakfast MasterChef cook off location within the time frame specified by the promoter.
- On the day 97.3FM will provide all ingredients and the Mystery box items.
- The MasterChef and 97.3FM Mystery box items for the cook off will be revealed on the day of the cook off once all contestants are ready and onsite.
-The contestant will need to present their dish to the 973FM Breakfast announcers who will judge all contestants dishes. The dishes must include all three mystery box items (please note these will be different to Robin, Terry and Bob’s Ingredients). The contestant with the dish that is deemed to be the best dish will be nominated as the winner of the major prize of $10,000 cash.
The best dish will be judged based on a combination of presentation, taste and technique.
One (1) x major winner will be appointed on the day of the Breakfast MasterChef cook off and will be announced on air on Friday 8th May.
The final decision of all minor prize-winner’s and the major prize winner will be at the complete discretion of the promoter and no negotiation will be entered into.
Minor prize judging will take place each day at 5:00pm (AET), at 444 Logan Road (Corner Gordon Street) Coorparoo QLD 4151 with the winner announced on air the following morning between 6:00am and 9:00am (AET) from Friday 24th April - Wednesday 6th May 2015 by a representative from Australian Radio Network (Activation Specialist)
The major prize will be judged onsite at the Breakfast MasterChef cook off on Thursday 7th May 2015 between 9:00am and 5:00pm.
Minor Prize winners will be notified on air on between Friday 24th April and Wednesday 6th May 2015 and via phone/ email by close of business on the day they are awarded the prize on air.
The Major prize winner will be notified on Thursday 7th May at the cook off and will be announced on air on Friday 8th May 2015.

97.3FM reserves the right to change the qualifying mystery box items at any time during the competition.
Minor Prize is not redeemable for cash.
All minor prize winners must sign a waiver as provided by 973FM before competing in the cook off on Thursday 7th May 2015.
On the day of the cook off the minor prize winners must cookA dish that includes all three ingredients from the MasterChef mystery box. These ingredients will not be revealed until the day of the cook off.
On the day of the cook off the minor prize winners must cook their dish within the specified time frame as stated by 973FM on the day and must not bring anything pre-prepared. All dishes must be prepared in full on the day during the cook off timing.
If for any reason a minor prize winner decides not to show up to the cook off they will automatically be ineligible to win the major prize.
If a minor prize winner shows up late to the cook off they will need to cook their dish within the time that is still remaining for the cook off. A minor prize winner that shows up late will not be given any extra time to cook.
