Chicks at the Flicks – Cine Buzz Rewards Competition- TERMS & CONDITIONS
Competition is open to customers that have purchased tickets to Chicks at the Flicks, Aloha, on Wednesday 3 June 2015. Qualifying members have to submit an answer to the question “In 25 words or less, what do you love most about Chicks at the Flicks...?”
Members who have purchased tickets to the Chicks at the Flicks screening on Wednesday 3 June will receive an email with a link to the competition entry form. They must submit their entry by Wednesday 3 June at 3:00PM AEST. The entries will be judged by Event Cinemas representatives at each individual location on Wednesday 3 June between 4pm & 6pm AEST. The prize(s) will be presented to the winner(s) at the Aloha Chicks at the Flicks screening they have purchased tickets to attend.
Only one entry per member will be valid. Duplicate entries are not permitted.
Prize details: One prize will be rewarded at each participating cinema location (46 locations in total). Winner(s) will receive a double pass for every traditional/ (or Vmax where applicable) Chicks at the Flicks event for the next 6 months (July – Decembers 2015). Estimated individual prize value: $216 {estimated total prize pool $9,936}
Competition CONDITIONS
Prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the Competition winner is unable to accept the prize as stated.
Prize is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other goods or services nor can it be re-sold or taken in parts. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value, performance, or availability of the prize. Event Cinemas reserves the right to amend or substitute the above prize for an equivalent or greater retail value if, for any reason beyond the Event Cinema’s control, Event Cinemas is not able to give to the competition winner the advertised prize, subject to State legislation. Any incidental costs relating to the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
The competition winner is responsible for all other expenses including upkeep & maintenance of the prize. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other prize related expenses become the responsibility of the winner.
As a condition of accepting this prize, the competition winner must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by Event cinemas in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
AHL accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the promotion. Independent financial advice should be sought by the winner.
Event Cinemas, other entities associated with this promotion and their related bodies corporate, and each of their officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for and shall be held harmless in respect of any loss, damage, or injury whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or sustained, as a result of or arising from the competition winner’s acceptance and use of the promotion, except to the extent that any such liability cannot be excluded by law.
Event Cinemas is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Promotion , or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this Promotion including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of claims.
Event Cinemas reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Event Cinemas has reason to believe has breached any of these Conditions of Entry, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. Event Cinema’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
Event Cinemas and its associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserve the right to take any action that may be available.
The Winner must claim the prize within 28 days of notification of them winning the prize. If prize is not claimed within this time period, a new winner will be chosen.
This is a game of skill. The winner(s) will be the entries judged as being the most creative by the judging panel at each individual cinema.
