WIN a $5,000 Flight Centre travel voucher or an Apple iPad Air 2

Before SBS was known for sexy foreign movies, soccer and subtitles, we came into your homes on the wireless. This June, SBS Radio turns 40, and we’re celebrating with a giveaway!

It’s safe to say that a lot has happened in the past four decades. But now we’re asking the question - where will Australia be in 40 years’ time?

This is where you come in. We want you to you to tell us; what are your hopes, dreams, aspirations or fears for Australia in the next 40 years?

The best response will be rewarded with a $5,000 Flight Centre travel voucher and the 5 runners up will win an Apple iPad Air 2.

Steps to enter – with a photo:

1. Write on a piece of paper in clear, bold letters your hopes, dreams, aspirations or fears for Australia in the next 40 years. For example, “#In40Years Australia will be the #1 country in the world!” or “#In40Years I’ll be driving a flying car” or “#In40Years they’ll be no more poverty”

2. Take a photo (a selfie, or with the help of a friend) of yourself holding up the piece of paper with your #In40Years response.

Steps to enter – with no photo:

1. Decide what your hopes, dreams, aspirations or fears for Australia in the next 40 years is . For example, “#In40Years Australia I will finally get a hover board” or “#In40Years there will be no more borders”.

To enter:
a) Upload the text via the form below.

OR

b) Tweet the photo or thoughts via your Twitter account – make sure to include the hashtag in the tweet (#In40Years) so we can find your entry

In these type of competitions where you have the choice of uploading a photo or not, I always wonder whether those sending in the photos have an advantage with judges?
