Ekka pre-purchase tickets competition.
RACQ is giving 50 members the chance to WIN a double pass experience to the closing night fireworks display on Sunday 16 August 2015 at the Hill Suite. This prize is valued at $260 (incl. GST).
To enter the competition, you must be an RACQ member and pre purchase a 2015 Ekka ticket onlineor in store between 01 May and 30 June 2015. Tickets will automatically go in the draw to win one of 50 double passes to the catered closing night fireworks display at the Hill Suites. You’ll also receive Gate Entry for 16 August 2015.

This competition is a promotion run by RACQ Operations Pty Limited ABN 80 009 663 414 (“Promoter”).
Entries and information on prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions (“Terms”). Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms are ineligible. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
The competition is open to residents of Queensland who are current RACQ members and who pre-purchase 2015 EKKA tickets from RACQ in person or online between 01 May 2015 and 30 June 2015.
Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, related entities and agents of the Promoter are ineligible to enter.
The competition commences at 4.30 PM .01 am on 01 May 2015 and closes 11.59 pm on 30 June 2015. The competition will be drawn at 10.30am on 06 July 2015 in the Tourism Department of RACQ Head Office, 2649 Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains, QLD.
There will be 50 winners in this competition, that will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received. . Eligible entries are from RACQ members who make the required purchase as detailed in clause 3 above. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entry is by pre-purchasing 2015 EKKA tickets from RACQ Stores, or racq.com with a valid RACQ membership card between 01 May 2015 and 30 June 2015.
One entry per 2015 EKKA ticket transaction during the competition period of 01 May 2015 and 30 June 2015 is permitted and only one prize will be awarded to each winner. The winners must be current RACQ members at the time the transactions take place, and when the competition is drawn.
The first 50 winners drawn will each win:
A double pass to the RNA Hills Suite at 600 Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills, 4006 to view the closing night fireworks from 5 pm until 9 pm on 16 August, 2015, including a Standard Food and Drinks Package, valued at $260 including GST. The Standard Food and Drinks package includes Dagwood Dogs, Mini Beef Pies, Fish and Chips, Beef Sliders, Famous Ekka Strawberry Sundae, along with a selection of Wine, Beer, Soft Drink, Orange Juice, and Sparkling Water. The Package also includes Gate Entry to the 2015 EKKA on 16 August, 2015.
The total Prize Value of the 50 prizes is valued at $13,000.00 including GST.
Prize components may alter at the discretion of the Promoter. Any change in the value of the prizes between the publishing date and the date that the prizes are claimed is not the responsibility of the Promoter.
The prizes will be mailed or couriered to the winners directly from the respective suppliers by 31 July 2015 to the addresses listed on the winners’ RACQ membership records.
The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
Travel and all other ancillary costs are the winners’ responsibility.
The winners will be notified by phone or email using the telephone numbers or email addresses retained on the RACQ membership records. Competition results may also be published at racq.com. The prizes will be posted or couriered to the winners as appropriate.
If a competition winner is unable to be contacted within 2 weeks of the draw a redraw will occur. In the event that a redraw is required it will be held at 10.30am on 20 July, 2015 in the Tourism Department at RACQ Head Office, 2649 Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains, QLD and the redraw winners will be notified by phone or email.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
The information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the competition, and to periodically keep entrants informed about the goods and services provided by the Promoter, related entities and its service providers. By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their contact details for the purposes described in this clause. The Promoter may use or disclose entrant’s personal information to related entities or other appropriate third parties in accordance with its privacy policy.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted by the Promoter as intended, whether because of computer virus, mobile phone failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which in the Promoter’s opinion affects the administration of the competition, security, fairness or integrity, the Promoter may in its sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the competition, subject to the approval of the gaming authority in Queensland as may be required.
The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage or for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking the prizes or entering into this competition. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability or any goods or services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winners and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winners.
