Entrants must be 18 years of age or over.
The Promoter may require entrants to provide proof of age in a form acceptable to the Promoter. Should an entrant be unable to satisfy this requirement, the entrant will be ineligible for the prize.
Entrants may only submit guesses on-air as specified in the Entry Method in the Promoter’s absolute and sole discretion. Guesses submitted in any other way will be deemed invalid, as determined by the Promoter, in the Promoter’s absolute and sole discretion.
Entrants may be required to provide a nominated valid Australian bank account as requested by the Promoter, in the event that the entrant is a winner.
An entrant who has won prizes to the value of $10,000 or more, in any promotion(s) run by the Promoter in the previous six (6) months prior to their entry in this promotion is ineligible to enter this promotion.
The promotion begins at 6.00am (AEST) on Monday 25 May 2015.
Entries into the promotion close at 4.00pm (AEST) on Friday 26 June 2015.
Entry Method
Secret Wheelie Bin Item
(a) Prior to commencement of the Promotion Period, one (1) item will be chosen by the Promoter as the Secret Wheelie Bin Item (Secret Item) required to be identified during the On-Air Game (On-Air Game).
(b) Once the Secret Item is correctly identified by a Selected Entrant during an On-Air Game, the Promoter will select a new item (in its sole and absolute discretion), to be used as the Secret Item in the next On-Air Game. The Promoter will repeat this process until four (4) On-Air Games have been conducted, or the Promotion Period ends (whichever comes first).
(c) The Promoter may conduct up to four (4) On-Air Games during the Promotion Period, each containing a different Secret Item. Each On-Air Game will run until a Selected Entrant correctly identifies the Secret Item for that On-Air Game, or the Promotion Period ends (whichever comes first).
(d) At various times during the Promotion Period, the Promoter may provide hints and clues regarding the identification of the Secret Item for the current On-Air Game via various sources including but not limited to on-air announcements, the Station Website (novafm.com.au), the Station Facebook page (Nova 106.9), the Breakfast Facebook page (Ash, Kip & Luttsy) or the Station Instagram account (nova1069) (as determined by the Promoter in its absolute and sole discretion), however the Promoter is under no obligation to do so. Previous incorrect guesses may be listed on the Station Website (at the Promoter’s discretion).
(e) For the avoidance of doubt, answers and clues provided may indicate a broad category of items, however only one (1) Secret Item will be pre-determined by the Promoter as the correct Secret Item for the relevant On-Air Game (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion).
Phone Entry
At various times each weekday during the Promotion Period:
(a) entrants will be invited to call 13 24 10 during a specified time period;
(b) following each invitation, from the entrants who successfully call 13 24 10, one (1) entrant will be randomly selected by the Promoter (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) (Selected Entrant). The Selected Entrant will be invited to appear on air that day and participate in the On-Air Game (On-Air Game).
On-Air Game
(a) The Selected Entrant will be asked to state one (1) guess as to the identity of the Secret Item. Selected Entrants must specifically identify the exact Secret Item (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) to be deemed a winner.
(b) If the Selected Entrant correctly identifies the Secret Item on-air (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) that Selected Entrant will be deemed a winner and awarded a prize (as specified by the Promoter).
(c) If the Selected Entrant does not correctly identify the Secret Item, or does not provide the level of detail required to be deemed a winner (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) that Selected Entrant will not be awarded a prize.
(d) The Promoter may (in its sole and absolute discretion) request that a Selected Entrant provide more detail with respect to their
guess to identify the Secret Item, however the Promoter is under
no obligation to make such a request.
(e) The Promoter will continue the above process until a Selected
Entrant is awarded a prize, or the Promotion Period ends
(whichever comes first).
(f) The Promoter may (in its sole and absolute discretion) broadcast
clues regarding the Secret Item on air at the start of the On-Air
Game, however the Promoter is under no obligation to do so.
(g) The Promoter’s decisions in relation to the On-Air Game are final
and no correspondence will be entered in to.
(h) The cash amount available to be won by the Selected Entrant as a
prize will be stated on air at the start of each On-Air Game.
If a Selected Entrant is deemed a winner, they will be asked by a representative of the Promoter (off air) to provide their contact details (including their nominated valid Australian bank account) for the purposes of awarding the prize.
If for any reason a Selected Entrant declines to, or is otherwise unable to appear on air, or their phone line drops out, the Promoter (at its sole and absolute discretion) may decide to replace that Selected Entrant by randomly selecting another entrant who successfully called 13 24 10 during the specified time period and inviting them to participate in the On-Air Game as a Selected Entrant. The Promoter will repeat this process until an entrant confirms their eligibility and ability to participate in the On-Air Game as a Selected Entrant.
For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not mean they have been selected as a Selected Entrant, and they may not be invited to participate in the On-Air Game and/or be awarded a prize.
For the avoidance of doubt, Selected Entrants must appear on air during the Promotion Period to be deemed a winner and awarded a prize.
One (1) entry per person, per day during the Promotion Period. Entrants may only win one (1) prize each in this Promotion.

Prize:
There are up to four (4) cash prizes to be won, as follows:
- Various cash amounts ranging from $5,000AUD (incl GST) up to $30,000AUD (incl GST), to be transferred to the winner’s bank account via electronic funds transfer.
The cash amount available to be won by a Selected Entrant as a prize will be determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion, and will be stated on air at the start of each On-Air Game.
The total cash amount awarded to winners during the Promotion Period will not exceed $50,000AUD (incl GST).
