HOW TO ENTER:
To enter the competition, participants must visit
www.yourgarage.carsalesnetwork.com.au/competition and follow the prompts to participate in the “carsales garage” competition during the Promotional Period. All entrants need to submit the following for their entry to be valid;
A. Sign-in or become a member of carsales
B. Add a car to their Garage by entering the make, model and year of their
vehicle.
Entrants will then be prompted to enter their First name, Last name, email, phone number and post code and confirm they are over 18 to enter the competition.
PRIZE:
The first eligible entry drawn at 11am on Thursday the 6th of August 2015 will win a 2013 Peugeot RCZ including on road costs ($64,620.66 drive away price). The on road costs which are included in this prize are: Dealer Delivery Charge: $2,500.00 (incl. GST), Stamp Duty: $2,175.00 and Total Registration: $955.66. The prize winner will be provided with 12 months' Comprehensive Car Insurance (up to the value of $1,000) and 12 months' Compulsory Third Party Insurance (in applicable states, up to the value of $930) for the prize vehicle only. The Winner’s prize has a total value of up to $66,550.66.
Terms and Conditions – Carsales Garage Competition 2015
1. General
a. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions. Entry into the competition
constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
b. The Promoter is carsales.com Ltd, Level 4, 449 Punt Road, Richmond, Victoria 3121 (ABN 91
074 444 018). Phone number (03) 9093 8600.
c. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, carsales.com Ltd includes all related and
subsidiary companies, past, present and future officers, agents, representatives, employees
and assigns.
d. All times referred to in this document are references to Melbourne, Victoria time.
e. All prize values are GST inclusive.
2. Entry Requirements
a. Entry is open to all Australian residents who are 18 years or over. Employees of the Promoter
and their Immediate Family Members and agencies associated with this competition
including, are ineligible to enter. “Immediate Family Members” means any of the following:

e. Individuals may enter this competition once only during the Promotional Period.
3. Prizes
a. The first eligible entry drawn at 11am on Thursday the 6th of August 2015 will win a 2013

b. The winner of the above prize will be notified in writing using contact details provided in
their entry by email and phone on the 6th of August 2015 after the draw. Their name will be
published on
http://www.carsales.com.au and published in The Australian newspaper on
11th August 2015 and as set out in section 4 below.
c. The prize will be made available for collection by the winner at their closest Peugeot motor
car dealership to the address nominated by them in their entry (or such other dealership as
requested by the winner and consented to by the Promoter). The prize will be available for
collection within approximately 4 weeks following the date of the judging. The Promoter is
not liable for any costs associated with the collection, redemption or utilisation of the prize,
including travel, expenses and related costs for the Winner to get to their closest dealership.
Any such costs will be at the winner's expense.
d. A prize may not be transferred or substituted except at the Promoter’s discretion and subject
to any applicable legislation. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or
greater value due to prize unavailability. Independent financial advice should be sought by
any person participating in this competition.
e. The Promoter shall not be liable for any costs associated with the taking of the prize before
or after the delivery (except as otherwise set out in these Terms and Conditions).
f. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any
entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any
personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability
that cannot be excluded by law.
g. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any entries that are not received or are otherwise
interfered with due to problems with the internet or telecommunications services. No
responsibility will be taken by the Promoter for any incomplete, late, lost or misdirected
entries.
4. Draw
a. The draw will take place at the offices of carsales.com Limited, Level 4, 449 Punt Road,
Richmond VIC 3121 as set out in the table in 4.c below.
b. The winner will be chosen by a random electronic draw process. The judges' decision is final
and no correspondence will be entered into.
c. The prize, decision dates and publication dates for the above mentioned competition are as

d. The Promoter reserves the right to redraw in the event of any entrant being unable to satisfy
these competition conditions, they forfeit or they don't claim the prize. If any prize remains
unclaimed or forfeited through ineligibility or otherwise, the Promoter will conduct a further
draw or draws, as required, at the same time and place as the original draws but on Friday
6
th November 2015. The winner/s of these subsequent draws will be published on
http://www.carsales.com.au and in The Australian Newspaper on Tuesday the 10th of
November 2015.
5. Entries
a. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
b. Each entrant’s information is used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the
competition and may disclose the information to third parties, including but not limited to
agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian
regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may
also, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional,
marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages
or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or
correct information to the Promoter. For further information refer to the Promoter’s Privacy
Policy.
c. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event
that they are the winner in any media for an unlimited time without payment for the
purpose of promoting this competition and the outcome, and promoting any products or
services supplied by the Promoter.
d. The Promoter may require an entrant or prize winner to execute any document necessary to
give effect to item 5c).
6. Warranties
a. The Promoter does not take any responsibility for any costs associated with entering and/or
accessing this competition including and not limited to internet service provider costs.
b. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned due to any reason,
including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the
Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper
conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law)
in its sole discretion to cancel the competition or to disqualify any individual who has
tampered with the entry process.
c. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the
result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power
failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its
absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same
conditions subject to state legislation.
d. If the Promoter becomes aware that a prize winner is in breach of any warranty contained in
these Terms and Conditions or made subsequently, the Promoter may deem that prize
winner ineligible.
e. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers,
employees and agents) and IAL exclude all liability (including negligence), for any personal
injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special
or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to,
where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction
(whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third
party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or
misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond
the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in
these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; and/or (f)
redemption of the prize.
