Win a trip to see David Bowie is in Melbourne Competition
Win the chance for you and a friend to travel to Melbourne and see the David Bowie is exhibition at ACMI.
All ticket-holders to Golden Age Cinema Bowie Week films will go in the running to win a trip to Melbourne to experience the exhibition in person.
The Prize
The Prize comprises:
– Flights for (2) two people from the winners’ nearest capital city to Melbourne flying on Friday 4 September 2015, returning Sunday 6 September 2015.
– Two (2) night’s accommodation on 6 September and 5 September for (2) two people at the Three Thousand Apartment, Gertrude Street, Fitzroy.
– Two (2) premium tickets to David Bowie is exhibition at ACMI
– A copy of the David Bowie is exhibition catalogue
– A $200 voucher for a meal at Tonka restaurant, Duckboard Place, Melbourne.
The Prize is non-transferable and the winner(s) must be available to travel at the dates and times stipulated above.
Guidelines for Entry
To enter, simply purchase tickets via Eventbrite via the Golden Age Cinema website – http://ourgoldenage.com.au/now-showing/ – to any film from Bowie Week, excluding Dogs in Space, at Golden Age Cinema, Paramount House, 80 Commonwealth St, Surry Hills, Sydney, NSW. Terms and Conditions
Your participation in the Competition constitutes your deemed acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
Please note that the Competition is open to residents of all Australian states except Victoria. Entrants must be (18) eighteen years or over.
The Promoter (Tourism Victoria) reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Entry into the Competition is unlimited and persons can enter multiple times.
Winning entrant will be notified by Friday 7th August, and must be able to travel on Friday 4 September 2015, returning Sunday 6 September 2015.
The Competition commences Thursday 9 July, 2015 at 5pm AEST and closes at midnight AEST on Sunday 2 August, 2015. The winners will be notified by email or phone on Friday 7th August and results published on Golden Age Cinema social media channels on this date. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winner will be drawn at random by staff of Golden Age Cinema and must be available to travel on the specified dates. If not, the Prize will be automatically forfeited and a new winner will be selected.
If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition, as appropriate.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following:
(a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
(b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
(c) any entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
(d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
(e) any tax liability (including FBT) incurred by a winner or entrant; or
(f) use of the Prizes.
The Promoter collects your contact details in accordance with the Data and Privacy Protection Act 2014 (Vic) for the purposes of the Competition only and as a participant you agree to this collection and the Promoter acknowledges that it will not disclose such information to any third parties. However you acknowledge that the Promoter may send you further information and promotional material relating to the Promoter’s products.
