The Everyday Rewards & Frequent Shopper Club Delite Mandarins promotion - Terms & Conditions of Entry
The Everyday Rewards & Frequent Shopper Club Delite Mandarins promotion (the “Promotion”) is a promotion conducted under the Other Benefits component of the Everyday Rewards and the Frequent Shopper Club Programs.
1. Information on how to enter the Promotion and a description of the prizes that may be won in the Promotion form part of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions of Entry. Entries not complying with these Terms & Conditions of Entry are ineligible and the Promoter reserves its absolute right to disqualify any Cardholder from the Promotion if any entries do not comply with these Terms & Conditions of Entry.

means any Woolworths supermarket across Australia promoting the Everyday Rewards Program or the Frequent Shopper Club Program and Woolworths Online at http://www2.woolworthsonline.com.au/.
Woolworths Limited ABN 88 000 014 675 of 1 Woolworths Way, Bella Vista NSW 2153.
means The Everyday Rewards & Frequent Shopper Club Delite Mandarins promotion governed by these Terms & Conditions of Entry and conducted as a promotion under the Other Benefits component of the Everyday Rewards Program and the Frequent Shopper Club Program.
means 00:01 AEST Wednesday, 19 August 2015 to 23.59 AEST Tuesday, 29 September 2015.
means that all mandatory Cardholder information has been correctly completed in the legal name of the Cardholder, according to the Everyday Rewards database or the Frequent Shopper Club database (as applicable).
The Promotion commences at 00:01 AEST on Wednesday, 19 August 2015 and entries close 23.59 AEST on Tuesday, 29 September 2015. (“Promotion Period”).
5. To enter the Promotion:
a. purchase any 1 kg combination of Delite Mandarins from 1 kg pre-packed or loose varieties at any Participating Store;
b. scan your Everyday rewards or Frequent Shopper Card (if shopping in-store) or enter your Everyday rewards or Frequent Shopper Card number (if shopping online) at the checkout prior to finalising the transaction.
6. Registered Cardholders will receive one (1) entry into the Promotion for every 1 kg combination of Delite Mandarins from 1 kg pre-packed or loose varieties purchased at any Participating Store during the Promotional Period.
7. Breaking a single transaction into multiple amounts for use with more than one Card is not permitted and will void all Promotion entries attributable to such Cardholders.
8. Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain the prior permission of a parent or guardian over the age of 18 to enter.
9. There will be a total of four (4) major prizes, which shall be drawn as follows:
a. one (1) combined draw for entries received from QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, SA, NT, WA & TAS valued at $129,171.60.
Each Major prize comprises of a 2015 MINI F56 Cooper, 1.5L, three cylinder twin power turbo engine with a 6 speed manual transmission in orange with a black roof and black bonnet stripes valued at $32,292.90. Prize includes: all on- road cost of 12 months registration, compulsory third party insurance, stamp duty and dealer delivery charges. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Any additional optional extras are the
responsibility of the winner. Collection of the prize is the responsibility of the winner and the winner should allow 28 days from prize draw for the availability of their prize. Prize will delivered to the Cooper Mini Car dealership closest to the Prize winner’s home residence in Australia. The promoter will negotiate a date and time suitable for collection of the prize. The promoter will advise the location that the vehicle will need to be collected from. If the winner is unable to register the vehicle in their name they are to nominate another person who agrees to have the vehicle registered in their name. The winner should look to the manufacturer of products awarded as prizes for all warranties. The total major prize pool value is $129,171.60.
10. The prize winners will be determined by an automated random draw of all valid entries. The prize draw will take place at 10:00am AEDT on Monday, 5 October 2015 at Salmat Digital Pty Ltd, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney NSW 2060.
11. The first four valid entries randomly drawn in the Draw Pool will win a prize. The winners will be contacted by phone within two (2) days and in writing within seven (7) days of the draw. All winners will have their names and state published in The Australian newspaper and on the Everyday Rewards/Frequent Shopper Club website (as applicable) on Thursday, 15 October 2015. If any winning entry is invalid, that entry will be discarded and the Prize will be awarded by randomly drawing another entry in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry.
12. If the winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent/guardian on their behalf.
13. If a winner does not claim their prize within 3 months from the date and time of determination of that winner, their entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draws as are necessary, subject to regulatory authority. The unclaimed prize draw will take place at 10am AEDT on Tuesday, 5 January 2016 at Salmat Digital Pty Ltd, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney NSW 2060. In the event of an unclaimed prize draw, the prize winners will be contacted by phone within two (2) days and in writing within seven (7) days of the draw. All prize winners of any subsequent draw will have their names and state published in The Australian newspaper and the Everyday Rewards/Frequent Shopper Club (as applicable) website on Thursday, 14 January 2016.
14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from winning of the prizes. Independent financial advice should be sought.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify all entries from any Cardholder who is in breach of these Terms & Conditions of Entry or the Terms and Conditions of the Everyday Rewards Program/Frequent Shopper Club Program, or who manipulates, seeks to manipulate or benefits from manipulating, the entry process or the Promotion.
16. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to provide photo identification and sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
17. The Promoter and its agencies and companies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained (including without limitation to that caused by any person's negligence) relating to the Promotion or the awarding or taking of the prizes except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case liability is limited to the minimum amount allowable by law).
18. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the phone user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
19. Certain legislation may imply warranties or conditions or impose other obligations including statutory consumer guarantees which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified except to a limit extent. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all guarantees, warranties, conditions or other terms that apply under or are implied by statute, common law or trade custom or usage. If in the conduct of this Promotion the Promoter is liable for a breach of any guarantee, warranty, condition or other term that applies under the Australian Consumer Law or is implied by any other commonwealth, state or territory law that cannot be excluded, the Promoter's liability under that legislation is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the cost of replacement of any benefit or prize won.
20. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other
compensation from such an offender are reserved. The Promoter, Salmat Digital Pty Limited and their associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
21. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, subject to any written direction given by regulatory authorities.
22. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
23. The Promoter may use any personal information that a Registered Cardholder has provided to it for the purpose of running the Promotion, and also in advertisements, publications, media statements and other promotional material associated with the Promotion. For purposes of public statements and advertisements the Promoter will only publish the winner’s first initial, surname and state of residence. The Promoter may disclose the information for those purposes to its related bodies corporate and contractors. If the Cardholder has opted-in to marketing communications within their Registration, the Promoter may use personal information a Cardholder has provided to send the Cardholder information about Woolworths' products and services (including via electronic means), and may disclose the information to its related bodies corporate, agencies and contractors (including call centers, advertising agencies and direct mail houses) the Promoter engages for that purpose. If a Cardholder no longer consents to their details being used for future marketing communications, a Cardholder should contact the Promoter at the address below or by email at privacy@woolworths.com.au. If the Cardholder no longer wishes to receive marketing emails, the entrant may make use of the ‘Unsubscribe’ feature included in all marketing emails at any time. 24. In the event there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

If you enter this comp, just make sure Woolies charge you for "Delite mandarins", or you won't be entered in the comp.

I shopped today and was charged for "Afourer mandarins", and when I told the girl serving that they were "Delite", I was told that "Delite" weren't on their system, so she had to charge them as "Afourer"

Being forever the comper, I told her I was entering for their comp, so therefore I wouldn't buy the mandarins, and could she please take them off my purchases.

The saga continued - I decided to buy 2 of the mandarins, and when she rang them up, they displayed as "Delite" on the screen. So then I asked her to take the 2 mandarins off my receipt, and ring the whole bag up as "Delite mandarins", so I could purchase over 1kg in one transaction.

Then she stood in front of me, and started cracking her knuckles (I hate that!) - I think she considered me to be totally mad!

Just another day in the life of a comper!

With these type of comps I reckon it is best to use a self serve then you can enter the right product
