Dux ‘TRIP OF A LIFETIME’ Terms & Conditions
1. Entry is only open to plumbers in NSW, ACT, QLD, SA, WA, TAS, VIC,
QLD and NT. Employees and immediate families of the Promoter are
ineligible to enter. Persons under 18 years must seek permission to
enter from the parent or guardian.
2. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries/claims
and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry/claims
process or who submits an entry/claim that is not in accordance with
these Conditions of Entry.
3. Each Eligible Entrant will receive one (1) entry per eligible water heater.
4. Entry is conditional upon purchase of an eligible Dux water heater.
5. Eligible water heaters include:
- Dux Proflo electric storage 25L, 50L, 80L, 125L, 160L, 250L, 315L
and 400L
- Dux Prodigy 4 and 5 gas storage, 135L and 170L
- Dux Airoheat 250L
- Dux Sunpro Electric Boosted Solar as complete systems

6. The Promoter may request to see a copy of an Eligible Entrant’s valid
and current plumber’s licence in order to validate their occupation.
7. Promotion commences on 25th May 2015. The final date for entries/
registration is 5:00pm 31st August 2015. No responsibility accepted
for late, lost or misdirected entries.
8. How to Enter: To enter, simply fill the entry from on the Dux website
(
www.dux.com.au) and attached the valid invoice as proof of
purchase.
9. The winners will be drawn by computer-generated selection at
Dux Manufacturing, Lackey Rd, Moss Vale NSW 2577 on the 4th
September 2015 at 10:00am from a list of all received registrations.
The first ten (10) winners will win the Prize. All winners will be notified
via phone and email on the day of the draw AND the names of the
winners will be published in The Australian on 9th September 2015.
10. Prize:
- Return premium economy flight (if available) from the winner’s
nearest Australian capital city to Tokyo, on 21st September 2015
- Three (3) night accommodation 4 star accommodation single share
in Tokyo
- Bullet train
- VIP Tour of Noritz escorted by Dux staff
- overnight accommodation 4 star accommodation in Akashi
- All main meals
- Selected tours in Japan subject to availability, including an exclusive
night at the Sumo wrestling on the 23rd September.
11. Ten (10) prizes can be won.
12. Total prize value $60,000AUD.
13. Promoters’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. Any costs in excess of the value of the Prizes (if applicable), including
GST, and all ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prizes are
the responsibility of the winner.
15. Additional spending money, non-main meals, taxes (excluding airline
and airport taxes), insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations (if
required), transport to and from departure point, additional transfers,
items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary
costs are not included. Fights departing on 21st September 2015 and
must be booked by 14th September 2015 and is subject to booking
and flight availability.
16. Prizes are not exchangeable, not transferable and cannot be taken
as cash. If the prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion,
reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with
a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written
directions from a regulatory authority. A maximum of one (1) prize will
be awarded per winning Eligible Entrant.
17. The winners must be eligible to travel to Japan in order to take the
prize. Winner must travel on the dates specified and flight itinerary
will be at the sole discretion of the Promoter. Promoter takes no
responsibility for the winner failing to take any part of the prize and
no compensation will be given. Frequent flyer points will not form part
of the prize. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of
individual prize and service providers. The winners may be required to
present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.
18. Promoter may conduct a further draw on 11th September 2015,
10am (Unclaimed Prize Draw) by computer-generated selection at
Dux Manufacturing, Lackey Rd, Moss Vale NSW 2577, as is necessary
in order to award the Prize if unclaimed by that date. The winner of any
Unclaimed Prize Draw will be notified by telephone and in writing to
their nominated email address. If required, the names of the winners
will be published in The Australian on 16th September 2015.
19. If the winner of a prize from the Event is under the age of 18 years, the
prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian,
on behalf of the winner.
20. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which
is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or
for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any
of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
21. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate
information, either caused by website users or by any of the equipment
or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or by
any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration
of this competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for
any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation
or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or
unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. Any costs associated
with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility
and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. Any contact
details entered incorrectly on the website shall be deemed invalid.
The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical
or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter
repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that
entrant invalid. Invoices submitted cannot be claimed on tank rebates.
22. As a condition of accepting a prize, the winner must sign any legal
documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or
prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to
a legal release and indemnity form.
23. Entrants can only enter in their own name. Entrants who provide
incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information are ineligible to
participate in the Promotion and all entries of an Entrant who is
deemed by the Promoter to have provided incorrect, misleading or
fraudulent information may, at the discretion of the Promoter, be
deemed invalid. The Promoter reserves the right to request the Entrant
produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification
or other documentation (to The Promoter’s satisfaction, at its sole
discretion) in order to confirm the Entrant’s identity, age, residential
address, eligibility to enter and claim the Prize, and any information
submitted by the Entrant in entering the Promotion, before issuing the
Prize. If the documentation required by The Promoter is not received
by The Promoter (or its nominated agent) or an Entrant or entry has
not been verified or validated to The Promoter’s satisfaction then all
the entries of that Entrant will be ineligible and deemed invalid.
24. The Prize will only be awarded following any winner validation &
verification that the Promoter requires at its sole discretion.
25. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the
Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third
parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, prize suppliers
and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional
on providing this information. If the entrant ‘opts in’, the Promoter may,
for an indefinite period, use the information for promotional, marketing,
publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic
messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request
to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries
become the property of the Promoter.
26. If this Promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason,
including but not limited to war, terrorism, state of emergency or
disaster (including natural disaster), infection by computer virus, bugs,
tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or anything
which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness,
integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, The Promoter reserves
the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend
the Promotion, subject to regulatory approval.
