By entering the “The Chase Australia: If They Win, You Win Competition” (“Competition”), you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS

2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia 18 years of age or older where the Channel Seven signal and its affiliated networks signals are received.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of the Seven Network (Operations) Limited, MNet Mobile Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 COMPETITION PERIOD: The Competition commences on Monday 21 September 2015 at 17:00 AEST and
concludes on Monday 28 September 2015 at 09:00 AEST (“Competition Period”), however, the eligible registration period will commence and conclude on the following dates (“Registration Period”):

3.2 For entry details, viewers must watch The Chase Australia weekdays 17:00 AEST (or any replacement program broadcast in The Chase Australia weekday timeslot) on Channel Seven and its affiliated networks (“Program”) during the Competition Period. There will be a competition advertisement aired within the Program that will display information on how to enter the Competition.
3.3 COMPETITION ENTRY: In order to enter the Competition, viewers must either:
a) SMS: Send a text message/SMS and register the daily code word that appears within the Program
along with their full name and postcode to 19 777 377 (Charge $0.55 - Helpline 1300 851 419) (“SMS”); or
b) CALL: Telephone 1902 55 77 03 (Charge $0.55 fixed - Helpline 1300 851 419) and clearly state the daily code word, their full name, address (including postcode) and contact daytime telephone number (including STD area code) (“1902”);
3.4 For SMS entrants, each entry must be charged to a mobile account and SMS entries via the internet, computer generation or “scripting” are invalid and will not be accepted.
3.5 Entries must be received by the date and times stated in clause 3.1. The time of entry will in each case be the time the SMS message or 1902 telephone call is received by the MNet Mobile Pty Ltd database.
3.6 SMS entrants will receive a reply message to their entrEach SMS entry will be charged at premium rate, namely $0.55 (including GST), which covers the entry and the reply message.
3.8 The maximum 1902 call cost is $0.55 (including GST). 1902 call costs will be higher from mobile phones.
3.9 Entrants may enter the Competition as many times as they like.
4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be one (1) prize winner drawn Monday 28 September 2015 at 09:01 AEST who will win the prize
package detailed in clause 4.2
4.2 PRIZE PACKAGE:
One (1) prize winner will win the total amount of money the winning contestants have won on “The Chase Australia” Program during the Competition Period. “The Chase Australia” Program will broadcast at 17:00 AEST on Seven Network each weeknight. The total amount won by each contestant in the Program each night during the Competition Period will become the total prize value for the Competition. Regardless of the dollars won by contestants, the minimum Competition prize value that can be won will be AUD $5,000 and the maximum prize value up to AUD $100,000. The total prize money will be announced within the Program “The Chase Australia” at the end of the Competition Period.
The winner will receive the prize dollars in one lump sum in the form of a cheque, made payable to the eligible prize winner, within 28 days of the draw and only after proof of age and identity has been verified by the Promoter.
4.3 In accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate with all reasonable media editorial requests, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, and the winners grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.4 Prize winners agree they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
4.5 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the Promoter’s requirements.
4.6 Prize winners must provide valid identification to the Prize Provider.
4.7 The Promoter may require prize winners to sign a waiver of liability and indemnity in the form determined by
the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
4.8 Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
4.9 The promoter may vary these terms and conditions at its discretion, subject to state government legislation.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be one (1) prize winner drawn in from the national pool of 1902 and SMS entrants who will win the
prize package detailed in clause 4.2.
5.2 Each entrant who has entered the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions during the
Competition Period and registered an entry using methods detailed in clause 3 required by the date and times detailed in clause 3.1 and correctly provided the relevant code word for the registration period they entered in (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the prize draw. Entries that do not comply with any of the terms and conditions, may be deemed invalid and a further prize draw will be conducted in its place. The prize draw will take place at MNet Mobile Pty Ltd, Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide, South Australia 5000 on Monday 28 September 2015 at 09:01 AEST.
5.3 The prize winner will be contacted by a phone call from the marketing department within two working days of the draw and a letter will be express posted to the prize winners confirming their prize. The winner’s entry details will be published in the Public Notes section of The Australian newspaper on Monday 5 October 2015.
5.4 The Promoter may in its absolute discretion deem entries invalid subsequently to a winner being notified or a winner’s name being announced if it is discovered that the winner did not enter the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions. In these circumstances, no additional draw will be conducted. Subject to state government legislation, and if required, an unclaimed prize draw will take place on Tuesday 5 January 2016 at 10:00 AEDT at Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide, South Australia 5000. Winner(s)willbenotifiedbymailandtheirdetailspublishedinthePublicNotessectionofThe Australian newspaper on Monday 11 January 2016 if required.
5.5 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.6 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form
determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on any of the dates detailed in clause 3.1 and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to breaking news and current affairs, vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to state government legislation.
6.2 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, MNet Mobile Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, MNet Mobile Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or
claim that may occur:
a) whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the Competition; or
b) in the acceptance or participation in any prize;
c) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any material,
including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any
other person.
e) in relation to failure of an SMS entry message to be received by the Promoter on account of
technical problems or traffic congestion; or
f) in relation to any damage or loss to Entrant's or any other person's computer software, computer
equipment or internet connection resulting from or related to participation in this Promotion;
g) any variation in Prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
h) any technical difficulties, technical error or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the
Promoter’s control); or any error, omission, interruption, deletion, delay, defect, theft, unauthorised
access or third party interference.
6.4 Seven Network (Operations) Limited assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion,
defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available, subject to state government legislation.
6.5 If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation.
