8. How to enter
Through recorded and live promotional pointers listeners will be encouraged to register online at hughesyandkate.com.au
Entrants will need to complete the registration form including the standard entry fields for an entry to be deemed valid which include - name, date of birth, postal address, suburb, postcode, contact number and email address.
All entrants will be required to answer the following question “In 50 words or less, what’s the deliciously unexpected moment you want to surprise a special someone with?”
Between ten (10) and fifteen (15) entrants will be shortlisted (at the Promoter’s absolute discretion), based on the creativity and
information provided in their entry.
Entries must not include any content or experiences which are obscene, defamatory, dangerous to the winner or any other person or otherwise offensive.
Shortlisted entrants will be screened on the phone by a representative from ARN for on air suitability of their entry. Involvement in the screening process does not guarantee selection for ‘Hughesy & Kate’s Deliciously Unexpected Moments’, and should not be considered as such. The screening will include a series of questions designed to generate information about the entrant and the “deliciously unexpected moment” they want to create for their nominated person. Any content generated may be used on-air and/or online should the entrant be successful with their entry. The final decision will be at the promoter’s discretion and no further correspondence will be entered into.
From those shortlisted entrants screened, the Promoter will select up to five (5) winners, who will receive a Major Prize.
The promoter reserves the right to pre-record contesting segments and broadcast them at a later stage at their absolute discretion.
The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
There will five (5) Major Prizes to be won; each prize includes;
- AUD$1000 cash prize to be awarded to the person receiving the unexpected moment
- The creation and delivery of ‘a deliciously unexpected moment‘ for each winner, which will be individually tailored based on their entry. The details of each ‘moment’ will be determined and delivered at ARN’s discretion, and no further correspondence will be entered into
Total combined maximum prize value is: AUD$20,000 incl GST.
Listeners can enter as many times as they like, but they can only win one Major Prize.
