Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility
Australian residents from Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, Australian
Capital Territory and Queensland aged 18 years or over, who hold a valid driver licence, are eligible to
enter this Promotion. Residents from all other states are excluded from entering this Promotion.
Employees of the Promoter (or any related entity of the Promoter) and their Immediate Families are not
eligible to enter this Promotion.
2. Entry
By entering this Promotion, the entrant accepts these terms and conditions. Entrants agree to the
Promoter’s Privacy Policy and to receive deal email alerts (that they can opt-out of at anytime). Entrants
also understand that their email address will be passed on to Preston Motor Group, so that they can
email entrants special offers and promote their services (which too, they can opt-out of at anytime). A
person may enter this Promotion once each day of the Promotion Period. Entry for each day of the
Promotion Period will open at 12pm AEDT and close at 11:59am AEDT the following day. The Promoter
may deem an incomplete entry invalid. To enter, entrants must complete the online entry form available
on the Scoopon website (
www.scoopon.com.au/promo/WinACruze) by filling in all required fields and
submitting the form as directed. Entrants must provide their full name, email address and postcode in
order to successfully enter. For an additional 5 bonus entries, entrants can share their unique URL link
provided after submitting the entry form telling us what 4 friends they would take on a road trip, and if
an entrant’s friend enters using this link, those 5 bonus entries will be assigned to the original entrant.
3. Prizes
There will be 1 prize (1 winner). The prize pool will consist of a 2015 Cruze Equipe 1.8ltr 6 Speed
Automatic – Sedan or Hatch. The total prize pool will be valued at up to $25,920. Specific conditions
relating to the prize include:
􀀀 The prize includes the first 12 months registration in the winner's State or Territory of
residence; the first 12 months compulsory third party injury insurance and other on road costs
including, stamp duty and dealership charges;
􀀀 The winner is entitled to select the colour of the vehicle based on the standard range available
at the Preston Motors Essendon Holden dealership in Melbourne, Victoria;
􀀀 All ancillary costs or accessories not expressly provided are the responsibility of the winner.
The prize excludes comprehensive insurance, operational costs, fuel, personal costs and any
other ancillary or incidental costs related to the prize or anything else not specifically
mentioned, which is the responsibility of the winner;
􀀀 Collection of the vehicle is subject to availability of the vehicle, but is anticipated to be within 4
weeks from the date the winner selects their preferred options;
􀀀 The vehicle will be made available for the winner to collect from Essendon Holden in
Melbourne, Victoria. All costs associated with travel to and from the dealership are at the
winner's own cost. If the winner resides in a location further than 200km from Essendon,
Melbourne, arrangements will be made for the vehicle to be transported to the winner’s
address; and
􀀀 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any mechanical, body or paint repairs or
maintenance of any kind relating to the prize after the date and time of prize collection by the
winner.
Prize is not exchangeable and cannot be substituted for cash. The prize must be taken as offered and
cannot be varied. Prize value is GST inclusive and is the recommended retail value as provided by the
supplier and was correct at the time of publishing. If a prize is unavailable, the Promoter may substitute
that prize with a prize that is equal in value or type, subject to any written directions from a regulatory
authority.
4. Draw
The winner of the prize will be chosen at random by the Permitz Group Pty Ltd. The draw for the prize
will take place at Suite 3.11, 4 Ilya Ave, Erina NSW 2250 at 12pm AEDT 22nd of December 2015. The first
valid, eligible entry drawn will be the winner. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner
provide proof of identity and/or proof of residency. The Promoter reserves the right to validate and
check the authenticity of any prize claim or entry before awarding the prize.
5. Winner
The winner of the prize will be announced and published on the Promoter’s Facebook account and
website (
www.scoopon.com.au) from 3pm AEDT 22nd of December 2015. The winner of the prize must
sign any release form that may be required by the Promoter or supplier of a prize. After announcement
of the winner, the Promoter will notify the winner via email to arrange delivery of the prize.
6. Unclaimed prizes
If a prize is unclaimed, the Permitz Group Pty Ltd will draw a winner for the unclaimed prize 3 months
after the initial draw at 12pm AEDT 22nd of March 2016, using the same method specified in section 4
and will notify the winner using the same method specified in section 5. The draw will take place at
Permitz Group Pty Ltd at Suite 3.11, 4 Ilya Ave, Erina NSW 2250.
7. Forfeited prizes
The Promoter may forfeit a prize if a winner refuses to sign any release form specified in section 5 or a
winner refuses to accept a prize.
8. Entrant’s personal information
By entering this Promotion, the entrant consents to:
a. The Promoter, or any of its affiliated entities, using the entrant’s details for future marketing and
promotional purposes, except if notified otherwise by the entrant;
b. If entrants are winners, the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and voice in any media
platform; and
c. Disclosing the entrant’s personal information to third parties, including agents, contractors and
suppliers of the Promoter.
9. Promoter’s rights
The Promoter may verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and
place of residence). The Promoter may disqualify an entrant who submits an entry that is not in
accordance with these terms and conditions, who tampers with the entry process or who uses
automated entry software or other mechanical or electronic means that allows a person to automatically
enter repeatedly. The Promoter may either disqualify an entrant or modify, suspend, terminate or
cancel this Promotion if this Promotion is interfered with or this Promotion is not capable of being
conducted as reasonably expected due to a reason beyond the control of the Promoter, including
technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, subject to any written directions from a
regulatory authority. The Promoter and their associated agencies, and companies associated with the
promotion will take no responsibility for prizes damaged.
This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. The
Promoter releases Facebook from, and indemnifies Facebook against, any claim, action, demand or suit
arising from, or connected to this promotion.
10. Promoter’s liability
The Promoter is not liable for any loss, expense, damage or liability that may be suffered or incurred by
a person in entering this Promotion or accepting and using the prizes. If the Promoter is liable, the
Promoter’s liability is limited to either resupply of the goods or services. This section 10 does not alter a
person’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Definitions
For this Promotion, the following terms have the following meanings:
Term Meaning
AEDT/ AEST AEDT means Australian Eastern Daylight Time. AEST means Australian
Eastern Standard Time.
Immediate Family Any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild
(whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent,
step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother,
step-sister or first cousin
