2 x DVD Prize Pack Giveaway – Last Cab To Darwin

2015 has blessed the Australian Film Industry with more hits releasing in cinemas than we’ve seen in over two decades. One of the biggest and most beloved hits of the year is Jeremy Sims’ Last Cab To Darwin starring screen icons Michael Caton, David Field & Jacki Weaver. The sterling drama grossed north of $8m at the Australian and New Zealand box office since releasing in August this year and we’re about to get the chance to see it on digital and disc from Wednesday December 9, 2015.

The reviews are unanimous in their praise:
If you’re waiting for the next Aussie film to light up the box office, wait no more because that rare day has arrived. Last Cab to Darwin is a crowd-pleasing gem sure to earn a special place in the hearts of local cinema goers. – Richard Leathem, The Lowdown Under
A certain kind of film, rare in the best of times, that exudes a distinct creative concentration, a precisely measured marinade of character and story that suggests an extended gestation period of forethought and planning. – Variety
All these years after The Castle, Michael Caton has a role to match Darryl “tell ’em they’re dreamin” Kerrigan as a dying taxi driver in Last Cab to Darwin. – Garry Maddox, The Sydney Morning Herald

To celebrate the home entertainment release our good friends over at Icon Film Distribution are giving you the chance to win one of two special edition DVD prize packs featuring 6 classic Australian films including:

LAST CAB TO DARWIN
STRANGE BEDFELLOWS
RABBIT PROOF FENCE
BLACK BALLOON

Synopsis: In LAST CAB TO DARWIN, Jeremy Sims (Beneath Hill 60) directs Australian acting legends, Michael Caton and Jacki Weaver against the backdrop of the stunning Australian outback and alongside the outstanding Mark Coles Smith, Ningali Lawford-Wolf and Emma Hamilton. Caton gives the performance of a lifetime as Rex, a Broken Hill cab driver who, when told he doesn’t have long to live, sets out on an epic journey to Darwin in a bid to die on his own terms. Along the way he discovers that before you can end your life you have to live it, and to live it you have to share it.

Filled with hope, humour and heart, LAST CAB TO DARWIN takes us on a journey on BD, DVD and DIGITAL from December 9, reminding us that it’s never too late to start living.

Go for it, give it a tweet!
