2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2,
entry is open to all residents of Australia 18 years of age or older where the Channel Seven signal is received, who are able to attend the AACTA Awards in Sydney on Wednesday 9 December 2015.2.2 Employees and the immediate families of the Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Yahoo7 Pty Limited ("Yahoo7"), Australian Film Institute Limited, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The Competition commences on Monday 23 November 2015 at 12:00 (AEDT) and concludes on Tuesday 01 December 2015 at 22:00 (AEDT) (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 In order to enter, users must log onto the AACTA Awards page on the Yahoo!7 website
www.yahoo7.com.au/aactas on their smart phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer with internet access, head to the AACTA People’s Choice Award Competition article then complete all required fields (Name, Phone Number, Email Address, Postcode) and vote for their Favourite Australian Film out of the five nominees; Paper Planes, Last Cab to Darwin, Mad Max: Fury Road, Oddball or The Dressmaker.
3.3 Entrants in the Competition may enter once only per calendar week for the duration of the Competition. For clarification, entrants may enter twice in total throughout the entire Competition; one entry from Monday 23 November, 12:00 AEDT – Saturday 28 November, 23:59 and one entry from Sunday 29 November 00:00 AEDT – Tuesday 01 December 22:00 AEDT.
4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be one (1) winner in total who will receive the corresponding prize packages set out in Clause 4.2.

Total maximum value is $2,950.00. Prize value is in Australian Dollars and correct as at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.
4.3 In accepting the prize, the winner and their companion must agree to the following:
a) This prize package is event based and the 5th AACTA Awards Ceremony and Official After Party tickets are valid for
admittance to The Star Event Centre on Wednesday 9th December, 2015 from 4.00pm. Tickets cannot be transferred for
another date or time. No replacement will be made for any loss or theft of match tickets
b) In the event there is a change in the date or time for the 5th AACTA Awards Ceremony and Official After Party, the promoter
will notify the prize winner regarding this change and also determine the outcome of the prize package including but not
limited to major prize elements detailed in clause 4.2
c) It is a requirement that the winner’s companion must be 18 years of age or older.
d) The winner must confirm their prize fulfilment availability to the Prize Provider by Friday 4th December, 2015.
e) Unless expressly stated in clause 4.2, all other expenses related to the prize package become the responsibility of the prize winners and their nominated companions including but not limited to items of a personal nature, food and beverages, transfers, and merchandise.
f) The prize package must be taken as stated and no compensation will be provided if any winner is unable to use the prize or any element of the prize as stated. If the prize is not fulfilled by Wednesday 9th December, 2015 then it will be forfeited.
g) The prize package may not be transferred to another person without the consent of the Promoter. If the 5th AACTA Awards
Ceremony and Official After Party tickets are sold, transferred or otherwise used in breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves its right to cancel the tickets and/or refuse the bearer and his/her companion admission to the venue.
h) If any portion of the Prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize, or any element of the Prize, for an element of similar theme and of equal value, subject to State regulation and subsequent approval. The Promoter is not responsible for any cancellation, postponement, delay or rescheduling of any element of the Prize. Any costs, without limitation, incurred, will be the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner.
i) Prize value is correct as at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.
j) It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of entry.
k) The winner and their nominated travelling companion must travel from the winner’s closest Australian capital city airport (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, or Hobart) on the same flight and at the same time. Travel to and from the winner’s
closest Australian capital city airport is not included in the prize and is the responsibility of the winner.
l) If the winner’s nearest Capital City is Sydney, the flight component of the prize will be forfeited.
m) The Promoter and Prize Provider will not be liable for any cost arising from or otherwise related to delays or cancellations to the
connecting flight(s) booked by the winner, either to or from the nominated capital city and their residence. All booking and costs related to obtaining, amending or otherwise concerning the connecting flight(s) to/from their residence and the nominated capital city are the responsibility of the winner.
n) Prize cannot be redeemed for cash and is not transferable or exchangeable.
o) The travel companion is to be nominated by the prize winner and once nominated is not transferable.
p) The prize package must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize or any
element of the prize as stated.
q) Any changes made to the travel booking by the prize winner or their travel companion, including extending the trip, are at
the winner’s expense and must be arranged by the winner.
r) Travel insurance is not included in the cost of the prize and is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs
incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
s) The winners and their nominated travel companion acknowledges and accepts any activities comprising the prize package, are
potentially dangerous and may result injury, incapacity, damage to property or other losses. The Promoter and the prize provider are not responsible for any acts of god, such as adverse weather conditions or industrial action or civil commotion that may occur whilst the winners are travelling. It is the responsibility of the prize-winner to enquire about local issues and conditions at destinations prior to travel.
t) In participating in the prizes, the winners and their companions agree to be filmed and to further participate and co- operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed, filmed and photographed. The winners grant the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
u) The prize winner agrees they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation. It is a condition of accepting any of the prizes outlined in clause 4.2 that the prize winners comply with all the conditions of use for each prize.
v) The prize winner must be 18 years of age or older and must provide valid identification to the Promoter.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be one (1) winner drawn from the national pool of online entrants on Wednesday 02 December at 11:00 AEDT. Each
entrant who has entered the Competition in accordance with clause 3.2 during the Competition Period, registered all details required within the Competition dates and times as stated in clause 3.1 (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the draw. Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions, may be deemed invalid and a further draw will be conducted in its place.
5.2 The winner will be notified by a phone call on the day of the draw, and an email advising the winner of their prize will also be sent. The winner’s entry details will be published in the Public Notes section of The Australian newspaper on Thursday 03 December 2015.
5.3 The Promoter may in its absolute discretion deem entries invalid subsequently to a winner being notified or a winner’s name being announced if it is discovered that the winner did not enter the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions. In these circumstances, an additional draw will be conducted.
5.4 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.5 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner (and any travel companions where applicable) may be required to sign a legal
release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
5.6 Subject to state government legislation an unclaimed prize draw will take place at Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, Level 1, 16 Anster Street,
Adelaide, South Australia 5000 on Friday 04 December 2015 at 09:30 AEDT. The winner will be notified by a phone call on the day
of the draw, and an email advising the winner of their prize will also be sent. Unclaimed Prize winner’s name will be published in the Public Notes section of The Australian newspaper on Monday 07 December 2015 if required.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to state government legislation.
6.2 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Yahoo7 Pty Limited ("Yahoo7"), Australian Film Institute Limited, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Yahoo7 Pty Limited ("Yahoo7"), Australian Film Institute, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
a) during the draw;
b) in the participation or use of any element(s) of the prize;
c) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any material, including any statements
made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
e) in relation to failure of an SMS entry message to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic
congestion; or
f) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or mobile communications
network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
6.4 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Yahoo7 Pty Limited. ("Yahoo7"), Australian Film Institute Limited, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, and
their associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserve the right to take any action that may be available, subject to state government legislation.
6.5 The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
6.6 If, for any reason, the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation.
