Every LGsuper member who has email selected as their preferred method of communication for both general and mandatory communications will automatically go in our prize draw to win an Apple iPad Pro (128GB wi-fi plus cellular, valued at $1,699).
General communication includes LGsuper’s newsletter SuperNews, event invitations and other educational or general updates from the fund.
Mandatory communication includes information LGsuper is legally required to provide, such as benefit statements or notices about major changes to the fund. If a member chooses email for mandatory communication, some information may be available through LGsuper online (so it is recommended LGsuper members register for this service if they have not already done so).

Competition terms and conditions
1. The promoter is the Queensland Local Government Superannuation Board (ABN 94 085 088 484 AFSL 230511) (the Board) as trustee for the Local Government Superannuation Scheme (ABN 23 053 121 564) (LGsuper).
2. The competition commences at 9am Friday 17 December and closes at 5pm on Sunday 14 February 2016 (AEST).
Eligibility to enter
3. The promotion is open to LGsuper members who are residents of Australia (NSW Permit Number: LTPS/15/10051).
4. Employees (and their immediate families) of the promoter are ineligible to enter.
5. To be eligible, the LGsuper member must have:
a. their communication preferences set to email for both general1 and mandatory2 communication as at 5pm on Sunday 14 February 2016 and have a valid email address recorded in our systems.
i. LGsuper members can set their communication preferences to email using our online communication preferences form.
6. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person.
The draw
7. The draw will take place at 2.00pm (AEST) on Wednesday 17 February at the LGsuper office, level 20, 333 Ann Street, Brisbane QLD 4000. The promoter may draw additional reserve entries for the draw and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible person is drawn. Winners will be notified by phone and by email within three (3) business days of the competition draw date, and their names will be published in the News section at
www.lgsuper.org on Wednesday 24 February 2016.
8. If the prize remains unclaimed by 2.00pm (AEST) on Monday 22 February 2016 a draw for the unclaimed prize will take place at 4.00pm (AEST) on Monday 22 February 2016 at the same place as the original draw. The winner, if any, from the unclaimed prize draw will be notified by phone and email within three (3) business days of the unclaimed prize draw date, and their names will be published in the News section at
www.lgsuper.org on Wednesday 24 February 2016. The promoter may draw additional reserve entries for the draw and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible person is drawn.
9. The promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
Prizes
10. The first valid entry will win an iPad Pro (128GB wi-fi plus cellular, valued at $1,699).
11. The prize cannot be taken as cash and is not transferrable or exchangeable.
12. The promoter will supply the winner with their prize via delivery to the winner’s nominated Queensland address (at no cost to the winner).
13. The promoter takes no responsibility for the delayed delivery of the prize for reasons outside of the promoter’s control.
14. Entrants consent to the promoter using their name, suburb and postcode in the event they are a winner on the LGsuper website and SuperNews newsletter for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition.
