COMPETITION (GAME OF CHANCE) TERMS & CONDITIONS
SUNSHINE PLAZA – RIVERWALK REWARDS APP – SUNSHINE PLAZA GIFT CARDS

1. Information on how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions.
2. Entry is only open to residents of Australia. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and retailers
within Sunshine Plaza and the retailers’ employees and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. Promotion
commences at 9.00am Monday 11 January 2016 and entries close at 5.00pm Sunday 7 February 2016.
3. To enter you must:
Download the Sunshine Plaza Riverwalk Rewards smart phone application (“App”) from the Apple Store for iPhones
or Google Play for Android phones; other Apple and Android devices may be able to download the App.
Earn 10 points to redeem a single Competition Entry Reward. For information on how to earn points, see section A.
A Competition Entry Reward can be earned five times per person per week during the promotion period starting
9.00am Monday 11 January 2016 and closing at 5.00pm Sunday 7 February 2016 (this equals a total of 20
competition entries per person). Weekly Reward Entry limits will open on each Monday at 9am for the four weeks
of the competition period, including dates: 11, 18, 25 January and 1 February.
4. One prize will be drawn each week for four weeks. For each weekly prize, the first correct and eligible entry drawn will
win one $150 Sunshine Plaza Gift Card. The four weekly draws will take place at the Centre Management Office at
Sunshine Plaza at 12pm on the following dates:
Draw 1: Monday 18 January 2016
Draw 2: Monday 25 January 2016
Draw 3: Monday 1 February 2016
Draw 4: Monday 8 February 2016
The Winners will be notified via the email address linked to their Riverwalk Rewards App account the day after each
draw. The results will be published on the Riverwalk Rewards App the day after each draw once the winners have been
notified. Winners must claim their prizes by visiting the Sunshine Plaza’s Customer Service Centre during Sunshine Plaza
trading hours by 8 May 2016.
5. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. The Promoter reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any entry that contains inappropriate material or
those that were submitted in an inappropriate manner, which may include, but is not limited to, actions relating to
computer hacking, breach of copyright or other intellectual property rights and actions that breach any relevant laws.
7. At the time of collecting the prize the winner will be required to confirm their identity by producing such photo
identification as may be directed by the Promoter. If the winner is under the age of 15 years the prize will be awarded
to the winner’s parent or guardian.
8. The prize(s) is/are not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
9. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify rights which you may have under any
law (including the Australian Consumer Law (‘ACL’), and consumer guarantees relating to goods or services under the
ACL) which may not be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement (‘Your Consumer Rights’). Subject to Your
Consumer Rights, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage however caused (including by negligence), suffered
or incurred in connection with the Promotion or the prize. Any condition or warranty which would be implied by law
into these terms and conditions is excluded.
10. Any prizes that have not been claimed by the Winners by 8 May 2016 will be awarded to the next correct and eligible
entry drawn by the Promoter. From the day of notification the alternative Winner has 3 months to claim their prize or
another alternative Winner will be selected.
11. All entries become the property of the Promoter. As detailed in the privacy statement which accompanies these terms
and conditions, all entries will be entered into a database and the entrants’ names and addresses may be used for
future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.
12. By entering into the promotion you accept all conditions of entry including these terms and conditions.
13. The Promoter may cancel the promotion and not award the prize(s) where circumstances beyond the Promoter’s
reasonable control prevent the Promoter from providing the prize(s). Should the Promoter cancel the Promotion the
Promoter will:
(i) advertise that the Promotion has been cancelled by placing a notice on the Riverwalk Rewards App;
(ii) promptly destroy all entries received; and
(iii) not use the personal information you have provided on the entry form.

administering the Promotion, to contact you if you are the winner of the competition, advising the public of the winner of
the competition and, unless you opt out on the entry form or by contacting us, communicating with you on an ongoing
basis for market research or with information on any products or services you may be interested in at Sunshine Plaza.
This may be by any means of communication including telephone and electronic messages (e.g. email). If the information
requested is not provided, you may not enter the competition.
From time to time this information may be used by and disclosed to our service providers (such as mail houses, delivery
companies, market research) or our related companies. The use and disclosure of this information will be subject to the
restrictions imposed on us by the Privacy Act 1988.

Privacy Statement as “we”, “our” and “us”.
SECTION A: HOW TO EARN POINTS
15. Points are earned by completing a range of activities through the Sunshine Plaza Riverwalk Rewards App. In order to
earn points you need to download and launch the Sunshine Plaza Riverwalk Rewards App, sign in by clicking the
‘Connect with Facebook’ button which links to your Facebook account and accept the terms stated. If you choose not to
sign in or do not have a Facebook profile you will not be eligible to earn points or Rewards.
16. Your use of the App may be governed by the additional terms of use of the app developer, which will be available for
viewing through the App. Participants are responsible for their use of the App and the Promoter accepts no liability for
any offensive or inappropriate use of the App by a promotion participant. The Promoter does not warrant that the App
will be available for use at all times during the Promotion period.
17. Points include:
10 points can be earned by a ‘Check-in’ to Sunshine Plaza Riverwalk during the Promotion period. This can be
earned once per person per day. You must be within a reasonable distance of the centre for the points to be
awarded (as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion).
30 points can be earned when an eligible photo is ‘Shared’ via the App. Eligible photos:
o Must be of an experience encountered on the Sunshine Plaza Riverwalk which is defined as
being the general riverside area of the Sunshine Plaza fronting and including the participating
Retailers listed below and the communicating pedestrian areas between those Retailers. The
Riverwalk Stage and the cinema complex are included. The Brasserie is not included; and
o Must not contain any unacceptable or inappropriate content (as determined by the Promoter in
its sole discretion);
The Promoter reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any entry that contains inappropriate material
or those that were submitted in an inappropriate manner, which may include, but is not limited to, actions relating
to computer hacking, breach of copyright or other intellectual property rights and actions that breach relevant
laws. Points for eligible photos can only be earned once per person per day. Photos that are not eligible will not
receive points. The Promoter reserves the right to award points or not to awards points for ‘eligible’ photos at its
sole discretion.
If points have already been awarded the Promoter reserves the right to adjust the participant's points accordingly.
By submitting / sharing photos you:
a) warrant that you have not breached any copyright or third party intellectual property rights and
that the photo(s) are your own;
b) and give permission for the Promoter to publish/redistribute and use the photos for advertising
purposes without payment or royalty.
Points can be earned if you spend the following amounts at participating Riverwalk retailers during the
Promotion Period and take your receipt to Customer Service to collect points. Participating retailers
include: Mad Mex, Snag Stand, Chocolateria San Churro, Beach House Bar & Grill, Cherry Blossom Tree,
Sultan’s, Grill’d, Made, Rozzi’s Italian Canteen, Riba Kai Café, House of Gelato, Zarraffas and Shingle Inn.
A receipt valued $5 and over will earn you 10 points. A receipt valued $15 and over will earn you 20
points. A receipt valued $50 and over will earn you 50 points. A receipt valued $75 and over will earn
you 75 points. Receipts dated outside of the Promotion Period will not be accepted. A customer can
only receive points once on any single receipt regardless of its total value. Once a receipt has been
presented, no balance amount or part thereof can be used for future redemptions nor can a single
receipt be split across multiple user accounts. The Promoter reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to
vary the eligible retailers and/or the dollar for point ratio and a notice will be placed on Sunshine Plaza’s
website
www.sunshineplaza.com. Any variation to the selected retailer and/or the dollar for point ratio
can be enforced immediately and may apply to all receipts from the date of the change irrespective of
the date of the transaction on the receipt.
18. The Promoter reserves the right to award bonus points (at its sole discretion) for any action during the course of the
Promotion.
19. If, due to a technical or software error, the incorrect number of points is awarded for a particular action(s), the
Promoter reserves the right to remedy the error by adjusting the number of points awarded to a participant for that
action(s).
