“HOLIDAY ON US” Competition Terms & Conditions
1. These official rules ("Rules") apply to the “Holiday on us Competition” (“Promotion”) conducted by Gold Coast Airport Pty Limited ACN 077 200 821, c/- Queensland Airports Ltd, PO Box 112, Coolangatta, Queensland, 4225 (“Promoter”) for the Gold Coast Airport (“Airport”).
2. Information on how to enter forms part of these Rules. The Promoter may, at any time, amend, add to or delete any of these Rules.
3. Entry is deemed acceptance of these Rules including any changes made by the Promoter, even if the entry is before the publication of any changes to these Rules.
4. The Promotion commences at 9:00am on Friday, 1 January 2016 and ends at 11:59pm on Tuesday, 31 May 2016 (“Promotion Period”).

Eligibility
5. To be eligible to enter the Promotion (and so be an “Entrant”) an individual must be an Australian resident aged 18 years or older and make an Eligible Transaction.

Eligible Transaction
6. An “Eligible Transaction” is a purchase at a Participating Food and Beverage Outlet or a Participating Retail Outlet:
(a) of any goods or services, but these must not be:
--(i) Tobacco Products; or
--(ii) Gaming Products; or
--(iii) Gift Cards; or
--(iv) deposits into banks, building societies or other financial institutions or payments on account of insurances and the like; or
--(v) telephone, internet or mobile telephone calling cards or credit cards, telephone or data sales or contracts for telephone accessories or products which include telephone or data credit;
--(vi) medical services including eye examinations, and prescriptions;
--(vii) rental payments and real estate commissions; or
--(viii) payments for registrations (e.g. motor vehicle registration), payments for utilities (e.g. electricity, gas, telephone), premiums --(e.g. insurance and health fund premiums), rates and subscriptions (e.g. ambulance subscriptions) and lay-by payments; and
(b) for the Minimum Spend (see Rule 13); and
(c) made during the Promotion Period.
7. A “Gift Card” is a card that is exchangeable for goods and services from a Participating Retailer.
8. A “Tobacco Product” includes:
(a) tobacco (in any form); or
(b) any product (for example a cigar or cigarette):
--(i) that contains tobacco as its main or a substantial ingredient; and
--(ii) that is designed or intended for human consumption or use; and
--(iii) that is not included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods maintained under the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (Cth); or
(c) a cigarette paper, cigarette roller or pipe.
9. A “Gaming Product” includes:
(a) a lottery ticket under the Lotteries Act 1997 (Qld);
(b) a ticket in a game of lucky envelopes or a promotional game that is scratched to reveal numbers, letters or symbols that may entitle the player of that game to a prize; or
(c) a voucher or under acknowledgement for playing:
--i. a game under the Casino Control Act 1982 (Qld);
--ii. a gaming machine under the Gaming Machine Act 1991 (Qld) or
--iii. an approved keno game under the Keno Act 1996 (Qld);
(d) a ticket or other acknowledgement for a bet under the Wagering Act 1998 (Qld).
10.   A “Participating Food and Beverage Outlet” means the following participating retailers:

Red Rooster
Fix
11.   A “Participating Retail Outlet” means the following participating retailers:
Surf Dive n Ski
Newslink International
Newslink/Discover
Victoria’s Secret
Duty Free Arrivals
Sunglass Hut
French Connection
Tech2Go
Hub Convenience
Duty Free Departures
12. A “Participating Retailer” means either a Participating Food and Beverage Outlet or a Participating Retail Outlet.
13. A Valid Receipt must show an amount of at least:
(a) $20.00 or more at any Participating Food and Beverage Outlet; or
(b) $40.00 or more at any Participating Retail Outlet, (“Minimum Spend”).
14. An Eligible Transaction must be evidenced by a “Valid Receipt” being an original official store docket from a Participating Retailer that is clearly marked with the date of purchase, the amount of the purchase and the store or business trading name.
15. A Valid Receipt must show an amount of at least the Minimum Spend.
16. For the avoidance of doubt, an individual will be entitled to 1 Entry Form for each Valid Receipt i.e. where a Valid Receipt from a Participating Food and Beverage Outlet evidences an Eligible Transaction totaling more than $40.00, the individual will only be entitled to 1 Entry Form.
17. The Promoter, Participating Retailers and their respective officeholders, employees, agents, contractors, and their Immediate Family Members are not eligible to enter the Promotion.
18. “Immediate Family Member” means any spouse, child, defacto or any other family member residing at the same premises as that person.
19. An individual may enter the Promotion as many times as they wish, provided these Rules are complied with.

Entry

20. An Entrant will be entitled to complete and lodge one of the Promoter’s official online entry forms (“Entry Form”) for each Eligible Transaction.
21. An Entry Form is to be completed and lodged online at the Promoters nominated URL site (“Nominated URL Site”) which is available online via the internet or using the electronic modules located at the display of the Prize in the Airport terminal, during the Promotion Period.
22. To be valid, an Entrant’s online Entry Form (“Valid Entry Form”) must:
(a) be completed and lodged online at the Nominated URL Site;
(b) include the Entrant’s full name, telephone number, email address and suburb of residence;
(c) have the “opt-in” box ticked whereby the Entrant consents to its personal information being collected and to being contacted by Flight Centre in relation to services, promotions and special offers provided by Flight Centre;
(d) include a valid unique code as provided to the Entrant by the relevant Participating Retailer at the time of making an Eligible Transaction; and
(e) include a receipt number or attached photo of the Entrant’s Valid Receipt.
23. On lodgement of a Valid Entry Form in accordance with these Rules, the Valid Entry Form will be entered into an electronic database (“Competition Database”) and an Entrant will be eligible for the prize draw (“Prize Draw”) (see Rule 28).

Prize

24. The prize available for the Promotion comprises of 2 Flight Centre gift cards valued at $5,000.00 each (total prize pool valued at $10,000.00) (referred to as “Prize” separately or jointly as the context requires).
25. The Flight Centre gift card standard terms and conditions (“Flight Centre Terms”) apply to the Prize.

27. The Prizes will contain an expiry date which will be nominated on each gift card. The Winners must use the Prizes prior to the expiry date.

Drawing and Collection of Prizes

28. The Prize will be drawn electronically from the Competition Database at 9:00am on Wednesday 1 June 2016 at the Promoters management office.
29. The two Entrants whose names appear on the first and second Valid Entry Forms randomly selected in the Prize Draw from the entries received during the Promotion Period (“Winner/s”) will each win the Prize (i.e. 1 gift card per winner).
30. If a Valid Entry has two or more individuals names recorded as the Entrant, the Winner will be the individual whose name appears first on the Valid Entry drawn.
31. The Winners need not attend the Prize Draw to claim the Prize. The Winners will be notified after the Prize Draw by either telephone or email.
32. To be able to collect a Prize the Winners must provide proof of the Winner’s Valid Receipt, identity and age.
33. The Winners must collect the Prize from the Promoter’s management office, on the date and time nominated by the Promoter at the discretion of the Promoter.
34. If any Prize is unclaimed it will be dealt with as directed by the Queensland Office of Gaming Regulation in accordance with the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Act 1999.
35. The Winners names will be published on the Gold Coast Airport website from with 7 days of Prize Draw.

General

36. The Prize provider is Flight Centre Travel Group Limited trading as Flight Centre ABN 25 003 377 188 (“Flight Centre”) located at Flight Centre Travel Group Limited Queensland Marketing Offices, Level 9, 316 Adelaide Street, Brisbane, Queensland 4000.
37. The Promoter will work in conjunction with Flight Centre to administer and promote the Promotion and the Winners.
38. The personal information of Entrants will be held and used in accordance with Flight Centre’s privacy policy which is available at www.flightcentre.com.au. The personal information of the Winners may be provided to others assisting, including the Promoter, prize suppliers and deliverers, and to authorities that regulate this competition.
39. In the event that Entrants subsequently decide to opt out of receiving information on promotions, services and market research provided by Flight Centre they can do so by emailing customer. feedback@flightcentre.com or contact the Global Head Office on 07 3181 9788.
40. Insurance for the Prize is not included in the Prize.
41. The Prize is not transferrable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. If for any reason the Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another item for it, in their sole discretion of equal or higher value.
42. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to all relevant State and Commonwealth laws), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.
43. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all aspects of the Promotion is final and binding on all participating individuals and no correspondence will be entered into.
44. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (including but not limited to that arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with the Promotion and/or any aspect of the Prize, except any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
45. All participating individuals are responsible for any taxation liability (including any GST) or other government charges or reporting requirements arising from their participation in the Promotion or receipt of the Prize (if any). If participation in the Promotion or receipt of the Prize involves a taxable supply being made, then the participating individual is responsible for paying any amount charged by the entity making the supply in respect of its GST liability on the supply. The Promoter does not offer any advice or accept any responsibility with respect to these matters.
46. The Promoter’s collection, use and disclosure of personal information in connection with the Promotion is governed by the Promoter’s privacy notice (which is available from the Promoter) and these Rules. To change or modify personal details on the Promoter’s records, please contact the Promoter.
47. Unless indicated on the Entry Form (by ticking the relevant box), all participating individuals consent to their personal information being entered onto a database, which may be made available to the Promoter for marketing purposes relating to the promotion of the Airport and retailers located in the Airport.
