Entry & Prize Details
Information on how to enter the promotion set out in these terms and conditions (Promotion) forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The entry period is from Monday 1st February 2016 to Wednesday 30th March 2016.
Two (2) return economy Qatar Airways flights to Los Angeles, America, departing Perth International Airport. Total Prize Value: $4000AUD. The prize value may vary in value.
Travel tickets must be booked by 31st May 2016, and travel must be complete by 30th November 2016.
Flights are subject to availability at the time of booking and blackout periods may apply, in peak periods from June - August 2016.
Hotel accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking and blackout periods apply.
The total prize pool for the Promotion is approximately $12,000 AUD. The total prize pool value may vary depending on factors such as the value of flights taken by winners, timing of flights, timing of hotel bookings, age of travellers and fuel costs. The Promoters accepts no responsibility for any change in the value of the Prize or the total prize pool.
Eligibility to enter
Entry is open only to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who submit a valid entry in accordance with these terms and conditions who are not persons listed below (Eligible Entrants).
Directors, officers, management, employees and contractors of the Promoter and/or its related bodies corporate and the immediate family members of such persons are not eligible to enter the Promotion
Entry into the Promotion
The promotion is open to Western Australia residents, who enter from Monday 1st February 2016 to Wednesday 30th March 2016.
To enter the Promotion for a particular Promotion Day, Eligible Entrants will need to access the webpage at qatarairways/au/en/offers/ignite-romance-competition.page
and provide the following information on the relevant Promotion period:
a) complete and accurate personal details including the entrant's name, date of birth, email address and mobile phone number; and
b) a response to the question "tell us in 25 words or less your most romantic moment?"
Entries will only be valid if they are completed strictly in accordance with above.
By entering, entrants consent to their entries being published on the Promoters' Social Media channels, in any and all form as determined by the Promoters' Social Media team.
It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify the Promoter if the entrant's personal details change.
Choosing the winner
The promoter (Smales, Hearts On Fire, and Qatar Airways) will judge the entries and choose the winner based on the most romantic 25 word or less answer.
Winners consent to their name being published on the Promoters' Social Media channels, in any and all form as determined by the Promoters Social Media team.
The winner will be determined at 5pm AWST on Wednesday 6th April 2016 by the promoters. The winner will be notified by email or mobile, and announced on the Smales Facebook page, as well as instore VIP event on 6th April 2016. The promoters reserve the to change the date of the instore VIP event.
Winner will be notified via the email address and phone number provided at the time of entry.
The decision of the promoter in all matters is final.
Conditions concerning prize
The major prize winner and their companion can only depart from Perth International Airport.
The major prize winner and their travel companion must be 18 years or older.
The major travel prize does not include, travel insurance, passports, visas, meals (other than those stated as included with the prize), airport transfers, excess baggage, gratuity or any other costs of a personal nature not stated.
Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the winner and their travel companion.
The promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination.
The winner and their travel companion will not accrue Qatar Airways Frequent Flyer Points on the prize travel.
If winner cannot be reached within 7 days of the draw the promoter reserves the right to forfeit or redraw the prize.
The prize cannot be exchanged for goods or cash nor can it be sold to any other person.
Liability
The prize winner agrees to absolve the promoters from any liability that may result from or is claimed to have resulted from participating in the competition or from the acceptance or use of the prize.
