The Prize winner and their companion consent to the Promoter conducting a criminal record check prior to their participation in the Prize. The Promoter may, in its sole and absolute discretion, refuse the winner and/or their companion’s participation in the Prize, if the winner and/or their companion have a criminal record or any criminal charges pending. In these circumstances, the winner and/or their companion will forfeit all claims in relation to the Prize.
Entrants and their companion must be 21 years of age or over.
The Promoter may require entrants and their companion to provide proof of age in a form acceptable to the Promoter. Should an entrant or their companion be unable to satisfy this requirement, the entrant will be ineligible for the Prize.
An entrant who has won prizes to the value of $5,000 or more, in any promotion(s) run by the Promoter in the previous six (6) months prior to their entry in this promotion is ineligible to enter this promotion.
If requested by the Promoter (in its sole discretion), entrants and their companion must sign an indemnity and exclusion of liability form in order to be eligible to win and participate in the Prize.
Dates and schedules of the Prize are not under the Promoter’s control and are subject to change. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any date or schedule changes.
Entrants and their companion must be the holder of a current passport with at least 6 months validity from the completion of the trip, in order to be declared the Prize winner.
The Prize winner and their companion are responsible for any visa requirements associated with the Prize. If the winner and/or their companion is unable to obtain a relevant visa or travel document, and/or is refused entry into the USA, the winner will forfeit the Prize, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion.
Entrants in the Promotion must be able to receive a phone call from a representative of the Promoter between 4.00pm (AEDT) and 6.00pm. on any weekday between Monday 22nd February 2016 and Friday 26th February 2016, and in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Entry Method to be eligible to be awarded the Prize.
The promotion begins at 5pm (AEDT) on Monday 15th February 2016.
Entries into the promotion close at 2pm (AEDT) on Friday 26th February 2016.
Competition Videos
Between 4.00pm (AEDT) and 6.00pm (AEDT) on various days during the Promotion Period, a total of five (5) different videos will be posted on the Promoter’s Website (Competition Video).
Entrants must watch the Competition Videos, then answer a specific question about the relevant video as outlined in the entry form. By watching the videos, Entrants will be able to obtain the correct answer.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Competition Videos will be posted on the Promoter’s Website between 4.00pm (AEDT) and 6.00pm (AEDT) on the following dates:
- Monday 15 February 2016;
- Monday 22 February 2016;
- Tuesday 23 February 2016;
- Wednesday 24 February 2016; and
- Thursday 25 February 2016;
Web Entry
During the Promotion Period entrants must visit the Station Website and fully complete the online entry form in the manner required, including by:
(a) providing their contact details including but not limited to full name, age, contact telephone number, address and current and valid email address and any other information requested by the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion); and
(b) answering the following question in 25 words or less: “Why should Kate, Tim & Marty send you to Las Vegas?” (Answer); and
(c) answering a second question related to the most recent Competition Video Question in 25 words or less as displayed on the Station Website.
Entries must be received by 2pm (AEDT) each day between Monday 22 February 2016 and Friday February 25 2016 (for entries containing an answer to the most recent Competition Video Question), otherwise the entry will be deemed invalid (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion).
For example, entries submitted by 2pm (AEDT) on Monday 22 February must contain a valid and correct answer related to the Competition Video Question posted on Monday 15 February 2016.
Each valid entry will be individually reviewed by representatives of the Promoter (Judges) based on the Judging Criteria.
Judging
(a) Each weekday during the Promotion Period between Monday 22 February 2016 and Friday 26 February 2016 between 2pm (AEDT) and 4pm (AEDT), the Promoter will select up to four (4) entrant/s judged to have submitted the “best” entries (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) and provided the correct answer to the relevant question.
Total prize: Up to $55,000 (incl GST).
Winners will be notified:
by telephone; and
on air at the time of winning,
by 6pm (AEDT) on Friday 26 February 2016.
