Terms and Conditions:

These terms and conditions, including information on how to enter, and a description of the prize that may be won in the Promotion, apply to the “Kingfisher Win a Trip to Goa Competition” My Dan Murphy’s competition. These terms and conditions will be notified to eligible entrants via the monthly program newsletter and can also be viewed by clicking the My Competitions tab on the My Dan Murphy’s member dashboard at danmurphys.com.au/mydanmurphys/kingfisher-comp (“Competition Details”).

Acceptance of the My Dan Murphy's program membership terms and conditions and participation in the My Dan Murphy's competitions constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and any Competition Details.
Entry is open to validly registered My Dan Murphy's members who are over the age of 18 and are residents of Australia (“Eligible Entrant”).
Employees and their immediate families living in the same household as the employee of Woolworths Limited and its related entities, printers, suppliers, providers and agencies involved in this competition are ineligible to enter.
Definitions within these Terms and Conditions:

Eligible Entrant   
any validly registered My Dan Murphy’s members who are over the age of 18 and are residents of Australia
Product Purchase   
has the meaning given to it in paragraph 9 and 10 of these Terms and Conditions of entry.
Promotion Period   
07.00am AEDT Tuesday 1 March 2016 to 11:59pm AEDT Thursday 31 March 2016.

Promotion   
means the promotion governed by these Terms and Conditions of Entry.
Qualifying Purchase   
any purchase excluding tobacco and gift cards.
This Promotion (the “Promotion”) starts 07:00am AEDT Tuesday 1 March 2016 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT Thursday 31 March 2016
To enter, an Eligible Entrant must make a Qualifying Purchase either at a Dan Murphy's store or online at www.danmurphys.com.au and present their My Dan Murphy's membership card or enter their My Dan Murphy's membership number at the time of purchase during the Promotional Period ("Eligible Purchase").
Eligible Entrants will receive one (1) entry per calendar day irrespective of all the Eligible Purchases made on that day.
Eligible Entrants may also receive bonus entries into the Promotion. To receive bonus entries, an Eligible Entrant must purchase any product from the Kingfisher Lager range (“Product Purchase”) either at a Dan Murphy’s store or online at www.danmurphys.com.au and present their My Dan Murphy’s membership card or enter their My Dan Murphy’s membership number at the time of purchase during the Promotional Period. The Eligible Entrant will only receive bonus entries if the Product Purchase is the first purchase they make on the day. Eligible Entrants will receive a maximum of five (5) bonus entries per calendar day if the Product Purchase is the first purchase they make on that day.
For the avoidance of doubt, if an Eligible Entrant makes a Qualifying Purchase as the first transaction of the day and subsequently makes a Product Purchase in the same day, the Eligible Entrant will only receive 1 entry into the competition. If an Eligible Entrant makes a Product Purchase as the first transaction on the day, the Eligible Entrant will receive 6 entries into the competition, being 1 standard entry and 5 bonus entries.
There are three (3) major prizes for two (2) people (one (1) winner + one (1) friend) and ten (10) minor prizes.

Prizes are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at the time of printing.
The major prize must be taken and flight booked for travel between 1st of May 2016 and until the 30th of May 2017 (subject to any blackout periods as determined by the supplier at the time of booking). All bookings must be made a minimum of 45 days in advance of requested departure dates.
Redemption of the Prize is subject to availability and may be dependent on travel class availability, specific room category availability, any applicable prize supplier or Promoter representative availability, and any travel ‘blackout’ periods applying.
All components of the prize must be taken together and when offered. Any element of the prize not taken at the time offered will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash. Prize cannot be sold and cannot be redeemed for cash.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the award of a prize. Independent financial advice should be sought by entrants.
The winners’ travel companion must be over the age of 18. The Promoter reserves the right to request a winner’s travel companion (if any) to produce within the requested time appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoter’s satisfaction, in its sole discretion) in order to confirm the travel companion’s identity and age before issuing a prize.
The Winner and their companions are solely responsible for any travel insurance, medical and/or any other similar insurance cover required either for the trip or for personal injury associated with participation in activities and expenses not listed in these Terms and Conditions of entry. The Winner may extend their stay at their own expense.
The Promoter is not responsible for cancellation, delays or changes to flights or any part of the prize or for the inability of a prize winner to take up any part of the prize due to problems with flights, travel or other factor outside the Promoter’s control.
Subject to the approval process required by any relevant gaming or lotteries authority, in the event that a prize item is not capable of running as planned for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster (including natural disaster), infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and/or if necessary, to provide an alternative prize or prizes to the same value as an original prize(s), subject to regulatory approval.
The winners (and their companion) is responsible for all other expenses including spending money over what is stated, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, taxes (excluding departure and any other flight associated taxes included within the prize), energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
The winners and their travelling companion must travel at the same time, must depart from the same capital city and are responsible for transport from their residence to the airport in their nearest capital city for flight departure.
To the full extent permitted by the law neither the Promoter nor any of their associated agencies accepts any liability for any injury, damages, expenses or loss whatsoever (whether direct or consequential) to persons or property arising from or in connection with this offer.
It is the traveller’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the traveller/s.
Air tickets are available on the regular scheduled services of each airline and are subject to seasonal embargos. Flight itinerary may have to be adjusted depending on the airlines departure city and their current flight schedule. Frequent Flyer points are not available from any airline.
A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winners at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges. Once accommodation vouchers are issued they are non-changeable.
The prize draw will take place at Red Jelly, 34-36 Elizabeth Street, Hobart TAS 7000 on 12pm (noon) AEST on Friday 8 April 2016.
The first thirteen (13) valid entries randomly drawn will be the winners. The prize winners will be contacted in writing (by email) and the winners’ details will be published online at www.mydanmurphys.com.au and each winner’s first name, surname and State of residence in the Public Notices section of The Australian newspaper by Friday 15 April 2016. If the winning entry is invalid, that entry will be discarded and the prize will be awarded by randomly drawing another entry in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry.
In the event that there is a dispute concerning the competition, the judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not claim or redeem the prize, the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize. The Promoter, after allowing reasonable and fair time and having pursued all reasonable endeavours, may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as may be necessary to distribute the prize in the draw which is unclaimed subject to any written direction given under state regulations.
The unclaimed prize draw will take place at 12pm (noon) AEST on Friday 15 July 2016 at Red Jelly, 34 – 36 Elizabeth Street, Hobart, 7000. In the case of an unclaimed prize draw the winner will be notified by phone, in writing, on www.mydanmurphys.com.au and published in The Australian by Friday 22 July 2016.
Entrants can only enter in their own name. Entrants who provide incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information are ineligible to participate in the competition and all entries of an entrant who is deemed by the Promoter to have provided incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information may, at the discretion of the Promoter, be deemed invalid.
The Promoter reserves the right to request the entrant to produce within the requested time appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoter’s satisfaction, in its sole discretion) in order to confirm the entrant’s identity, age, residential address, eligibility to enter and claim a prize, and any information submitted by the entrant in entering the competition, before issuing a prize. If the documentation required by the Promoter is not received by the Promoter or an entrant or entry has not been verified or validated to the Promoter’s satisfaction then all the entries of that entrant will be ineligible and deemed invalid.
If the Promoter forms the view in its sole discretion that an entry or the entry process for any entrant has been tampered with or otherwise does not comply with these rules or the My Dan Murphy’s program terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify that entry.
If for any reason the Promoter determines in good faith and its sole discretion that this competition is not capable of running as planned due to any agent or event beyond the control of the Promoter, which might corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition or which may change the intended result or prevent or hinder its determination, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition at any time and recommence it on similar terms and conditions when and as determined by the Promoter.
All entries become the property of the Promoter and entries will not be returned. If you enter this competition, the Promoter will collect personal information about you so that you can participate in the competition and the Promoter can administer the competition. The Promoter may use any Personal Information that an entrant has provided to it as part of the competition for the purpose of running the competition and also in advertisements, publications, media statements and other promotional material associated with the competition. To do this, the Promoter may disclose your personal information to its related bodies corporate and organisations to which the Promoter outsources functions, and organisations associated with this competition.
If you are a winner, the Promoter will disclose your first initial, surname and suburb or city of residence and State of residence to the media, who will publish these details. If you do not provide your personal information, you cannot participate in the competition. As a condition of entering this Promotion, an entrant consents to, in the event they are a winner, the Promoter using their (and their guest(s)’ if applicable) name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without further notification, remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing the Promotion (including any outcome), and/or promoting any products or services manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. The entrant agrees that, in the event they are a winner, they will participate in all reasonable promotional activities in relation to the Promotion as requested by the Promoter and its agents.
You agree that we may use the facilities of a third party with whom you have separately contracted, for example, a third party’s social media platform, to communicate or administer a member-only competition involving you. When we do this, you agree that any promotions terms required by that third party apply in addition to these terms and conditions, including that you completely release the third party from all claims relating to the promotion and that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, the third party.
If you have opted-in to marketing communications as part of the membership of the My Dan Murphy’s program, the Promoter may use the entrant’s name and email address for future marketing communications. If an entrant no longer consents to their details being used for future marketing communications, the entrant should contact the Promoter at the address below or by email at privacy@woolworths.com.au. If the entrant no longer wishes to receive marketing emails, the entrant may make use of the ‘Unsubscribe’ feature included in all marketing emails at any time.
