Entries open from: Wednesday 16th March, 2016 at 6:00am (AEDST).
Entries close Friday, 30th December, 2016 at 10:00am (AEDST).
During the contesting period, listeners will register online at the KIIS1065 website.
To register, entrants will be asked to complete the following details (without limitation) –
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Mobile Contact Number
- Land Line Number
- Address
- Email address
- Tell us about yourself
At various times across the Promotional Period the Promoter will choose entrants at random to call from the registration page. The entrant or a member of their household must answer the call by saying a phrase as nominated by the promoter:
E.g. - “I want the cock-a-doodle-do!”
This phrase is not limited to the above phrase, may be changed by the Promoter in its absolute discretion and will be stipulated on the KIIS1065.com.au registration page.
If the entrant or a person on the entrant’s behalf does not answer the with the correct phrase, or gets the phrase incorrect they will not be deemed a winner. The cash prize will not jackpot. After 10 rings we can abort the call.

If applicable we will call the registered land line phone number first, anyone in the household can answer the phone with the correct phrase to win on behalf of the registered entrant. For the avoidance of doubt, it is the entrant, not any other person who answers the phone who will win and receive any prize awarded.
Entrants may also be contacted via phone or email to discuss their entry off air. Any such discussion does not necessarily guarantee the entrant will be chosen to participate in the contest.
The Promoter reserves the right to also solicit for entrants via social mediums (e.g. Twitter, Instagram and/or Facebook), at their absolute discretion.
For each contesting segment there will be a pre-determined cash amount to win.
Number of contesting segments per day is at the discretion of the Promoter.
The promoter may send the KIIS Cash Cock to the entrants address as we play each contest spot.
When entering this Promotion the entrant is allowing ARN to use their address and send the ‘Cash Cock’ to their residence as part of the promotion. If the Cash Cock is seen at the entrant’s address this does not mean that they are a winner. If the entrant is not at their address when answering the call they will still be determined a winner if they answer the call by using the correct phrase as deemed by the promoter.
By entering this promotion, entrants give consent to the Promoter to come to their registered address as the ‘Cash Cock’ in order to facilitate the prize. For the avoidance of doubt, if the entrant is not home at the time of winning, the entrant expressly consents to the Promoter filming the ‘Cash Cock’ at their premises for the purposes of conducting the competition.
There will be a maximum prize pool of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000). Each prize will consist of one (1) x cash prize determined by the promoter in accordance with item 8, How to enter.
