Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. The Promoter is Brisbane Airport Corporation Pty Limited (ABN 54 076 870 650) of

3. Entry is only open to Queensland residents aged 18 years old or over.
4. Employees, contractors, consultants and their immediate families of the Promoter,
Air Canada and agencies associated with this promotion, are ineligible to enter.
5. Entry is conditional on providing personal information. The Promoter collects and deals
with personal information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and its
privacy policy available at
http://www.bne.com.au/privacy-policy.
6. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
7. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
Duration of promotion
8. The promotion commences at 10:00am AEST on Tuesday, 3 May 2016 and closes at
11:59pm AEST on Thursday, 30 June 2016 (Promotion Period).
How to enter
9. To enter, individuals must, during the Promotion Period, complete the online entry form
at
http://competitions.bne.com.au (Promotion Page), provide a valid email address
and agree to the Terms and Conditions on the Promotion Page.
10. An individual may enter this promotion only once except where that individual qualifies
for a Bonus Entry in which case, that individual may have multiple entries.
11. An individual will earn one Bonus Entry into the promotion when they share the
promotion on Facebook or by email, in each case using the process on the Promotion
Page. Only one Bonus Entry per day can be earned.
Prize details
12. The first valid entry drawn will win 2 x return economy class flights from Brisbane to
Vancouver, flying Air Canada valued at up to AU$4,965.46 (Prize).
13. All reservations for the Prize must be made and ticketed by 1 November 2016 and
travel must be completed within 1 year from date of ticket issue. The Prize is subject
to booking and flight availability.
14. The Prize is not transferable and cannot be taken as cash. Any ancillary or further
costs associated with prize redemption are not included and must be met by the Prize
winner. Any unused balance of the Prize will not be redeemable as cash.
15. The value of the Prize is correct at time of publication and may fluctuate depending on
date of departure. Any change to the Prize value is not the Promoter’s responsibility.
16. The Prize is also subject to the standard terms and conditions of Air Canada ARBN 094
769 561 (Air Canada) including the following conditions (without limitation):
Prize tickets are not transferable, non-negotiable, non-re-saleable and have no
cash redemption value.
Valid for companion travel only. Companion travel is defined as two (2) people
travelling together on ticketed identical airline sectors.
Tickets are not eligible for frequent flyer points accrual or redemption.
Tickets are valid on Air Canada branded flights only and are subject to applicable
blackout periods. Travel is not permitted 22 June 2016 – 06 September 2016;
20 December 2016 – 10 January 2017; 21 June 2017 – 05 September 2017;
17 December 2017 – 08 January 2018.
Purchase of a preferred seat or upgrade of the economy class prize ticket to the
value of a premium economy or business class ticket is not permissible.
Stop-overs are not permitted.
Any changes to flights and dates, after ticketing, will be subject to a fee of
CAD$150.00 + taxes for each change.
Any change to origin and/or destination is not permissible.
Prize winners are responsible for fulfilling any visa requirements at their own
expense and any other taxation which may arise through FBT, etc.
Air Canada is not responsible for any costs due to delay, cancellation or
disruption of service.
Denied boarding compensation is not applicable.
Prize winners may be held liable to Air Canada for failure to adhere to the
restrictions, terms and conditions of travel applicable to their tickets or for any
fraudulent use of these ticket.
At certain times of the year, travel may be restricted due to heavy demand on
services. Priority will be given to passengers who have purchased a ticket. Should
this occur, Air Canada does not accept responsibility for any loss or damages
resulting from any interruption to travel plans.
Prize draw and notification of winner
17. The Prize will be drawn at 10.00am AEST on Monday, 4 July 2016 at the offices of
XCOM Media, situated at Unit 1/15 Lamington Street, New Farm, Queensland 4005.
18. The winner will be drawn at random from all entries submitted.
19. The Prize winner will be notified by email within 2 business days of the draw and their
details will be published in Brisbane Airport’s BNE Magazine.
20. The Promoter will require the winner to provide proof of age, identity and residential
address, in order to claim the Prize. Proof of age, identification and residential address
considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. If the winner
cannot provide suitable proof where the Promoter has made reasonable efforts to
obtain it, then in the Promoter’s sole discretion the Prize will be forfeit and no substitute
will be offered and the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw.
Unclaimed prize draw
21. If the Prize remains unclaimed by 9am AEST on 5 October 2016, a re-draw will be
conducted at 10.00am AEST on Monday, 10 October 2016 at the same place as the
original draw subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The winner will be
notified by email within 2 business days of the re-draw and their details will be
published in Brisbane Airport’s BNE Magazine.
Liability
22. The Promoter makes no representation or warranty about the fitness for purpose or
merchantable quality of the Prize.
23. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit,
exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under

the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties
under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth)
or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia
(Non-Excludable Guarantees). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded,
including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective
officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any
personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct,
indirect, special or consequential, arising out of the promotion or use of the Prize.
24. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable
Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is
not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal
injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect,
special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or
equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft,
unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late,
lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the
Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any
variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability
incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) taking, use of and/or participation in the Prize.
25. As a condition of accepting the Prize, the winner (and his/her companion or the
companion’s parent/legal guardian if they are a minor) must sign any legal
documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in
their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
General
26. The Promoter reserves the right to discontinue the promotion at any time and at its
sole discretion may cancel, terminate, suspend or modify the promotion and/or, if
necessary, to provide an alternative prize or prizes to the same value as an original
Prize. Any change to or cancellation of this promotion, for whatever reason, is subject
to any written direction from a regulatory authority.
27. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means
that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all
entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
28. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
29. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the
event they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for
the Promoter’s promotional and publicity purposes.
30. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and carry
out its marketing activities and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third
parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize
suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on
providing this information. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update
or correct information to the Promoter.
31. The laws of Queensland apply to this promotion to the exclusion of any other law.
