The Promotion and Prizes:
The RIO CARNIVAL will run for 10 months.
The promotion is a prize only promotion consisting of 10 x Major Prize
Draws (1 draw per month for 10 months).
Total prize pool value:
o Up to $261891.10!
Each monthly prize includes:
1 x 2016 plated automatic Kia Rio S Premium 5 door hatch car valued
at $23689.00, including all on-road and dealer delivery costs.
If the prize winner is in any Canberra Labor Club venue and makes
themselves know to the management within 5 minutes of the draw an
additional prize of fuel cards to value of $2,500 will be awarded.
Total prize pool for duration of promotion is $261891.10.
Rules and Regulations:
1. Promotion starts Friday 22 April 2016.
2. Promotion draw will be conducted at the Canberra Labor Club,
Belconnen- 8:00pm on each specified draw date.
3. Tickets will be automatically printed from each Labor Club venue to the
designated barrel at Canberra Labor Club, Belconnen.
4. Promotion is open to all financial members of the Canberra Labor Club
Group. Members must be financial at the time of the draw. Members
must be 18 years or over to enter this promotion.
5. Barrel closes to further entries at 7:55pm on draw day at Canberra
Labor Club, Belconnen.
6. Members do not have to be present at a Canberra Labor Club venue
for the draw.
7. In the event a winning member is not present, they will be notified via
telephone and in writing. An advertisement will also be placed in the
Canberra Times on the Wednesday following each draw date.
8. If the prize remains unclaimed for a period exceeding 3 months after
the draw, a subsequent draw will take place. This re-draw will be
conducted at the Canberra Labor Club, Belconnen at 10:00am 3
months after the draw.
9. In the event an ineligible ticket is drawn, a subsequent draw will take
place on the same day.
10.Tickets must be valid for the date of draw and verified against Dacom
7000 to be deemed valid.
11.All tickets will be removed from the barrel at the conclusion of each
monthly draw.
12.Except were prohibited by law, each entry constitutes permission for
the Canberra Labor Club Group to use the winner’s entry, name and
photograph(s) and any statements regarding this giveaway in all media
to promote, market or advertise Canberra Labor Club Group without
review or approval from the entrant.
13.The winner consents to his/her photograph being taken upon receiving
his/her prize.
General:
14.The Promoter of Rio Carnival Giveaway is the Canberra Labor Club
Group Ltd. ABN: 92 008 546 030.
17. Staff, Directors (and their immediate families) and Contractors of the
Canberra Labor Club Group are ineligible to enter. Staff, Contractors and
Directors are defined as:
(1) All employees (and their immediate families) of the Canberra Labor
Club Limited.
(2) All directors (and their immediate families) of the Canberra Labor
Club Limited.
(3) All employees, owners and directors of Black Fig Catering, Lofty
Mathews Enterprise, SNP Security, Ramad Catering, Peter Funnell
Entertainment, Rolfe Property Services Pty Ltd and Advantage
Advertising.
(4) For the purpose of this promotion, immediate family is defined as
spouse, defacto partner, parent, sibling and children.
(5) Staff, Contractors or Directors who have resigned, been terminated
or have been made redundant for the period 6 months prior to 22 April
2016 are ineligible to enter.
(6) Staff, Contractors or Directors who have resigned, been terminated
or who have been made redundant during the promotion (22 April
2016 – 4 March 2017 inclusive) are ineligible to enter.
18.Members who may have their membership suspended or cancelled for
any reason during the promotion will no longer be eligible to
participate.
19.Total prize pool is $261891.10 over the 10 month promotional period.
20.Management’s decision is final.
