2.Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3.Entry is only open to residents of Queensland, aged 18 years or over with a valid Queensland CRN (driver's license number).
4.Grand prize draw (Glam Squad prize package) eligible only to entrants aged 18 years or over with a valid Queensland CRN (driver’s license number).
5.Employees (and their immediate families) of the Primary and Joint Promoters are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

8.To enter, individuals must complete the following steps during the Promotional Period:a.Visit

d.Successfully submit the fully completed entry form.
9.Bonus entries are available for this competition immediately after submission of the completed entry form. Entrants will be able to receive one (1) bonus entry for completion of each of the below:a.By 'liking' the official Personalised Plates Queensland Facebook page (URL:

iv.Each entry must be submitted in accordance with the entry requirements.
d.For the sake of clarity, an entrant will receive one (1) entry for validly completing the entry form, and may receive up to (1) bonus entry for sharing via Facebook and up to one (1) bonus entry by following/liking PPQ's Facebook page. Maximum entries per valid email address is three (3).
10.Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
11.The Primary Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
12.If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
13.The winner will be notified by telephone.
14.The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15.The grand prize consists of one (1) ‘Glam Squad’ Package to the value of $3,745. Package inclusions consist of one (1) night at a hotel of the promoter’s choosing to the value of $800, three (3) makeover vouchers to Mecca Cosmetica to the value of $270, three (3) blowout blow dry vouchers to Blow Dry bar to the value of $180, a $2,000 VISA pre-paid gift voucher, and one (1) set of Glam personalised plates to the value of $495.
16.The hotel is to be located within the vicinity of the winner’s location.
17.The Glam Squad prize redemption dates are subject to the availability and terms of conditions of the hotel provider. Blackout dates for bookings may apply.
18.Redemption of the individual prize items is subject to the terms and conditions of Personalised Plates Queensland, Mecca Cosmetica, Blow Dry bar and VISA.
19.The winner will receive a Personalised Plates Queensland gift voucher to the value of $495 to be used for redemption of a set of personalised plates. Plate combination is subject to availability.
20.The personalised plate combination content selected by the winner (i.e. numbers and letters combined) ("Content"), is subject to availability and approval by the Promoter. If no option for the final Content can be agreed on between the Promoter and winner, the Promoter will make the final determination as to the Content, and no correspondence will be entered into.
21.Notwithstanding the above, the Personalised Plate Content must not be deemed by the Promoter to be inappropriate, derogatory, obscene, sexually inappropriate, violent, abusive or racist in nature or promote a criminal organisation or behavior. For the sake of clarity, where the number plate elected by a winner contains a mix of numbers and words (with the numbers resembling letters), if such Content is inappropriate, the Promoter will not allow such number plate to be produced for the winner.
22.Accommodation is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the hotel of the promoter’s choosing. Personalised Plates Queensland takes no responsibility for excess charges incurred during the winner’s stay, or damages incurred to the property. All additional charges are the winner’s responsibility.
23.The winner (and their companion/s) is/are responsible for all other expenses including meals (unless specified), transportation (unless specified), and all other ancillary costs not outlined in these terms and conditions.
24.The prize is not transferrable and is for the specified dates of the event only. If the winner (for whatever reason) is unable to travel or does not take an element of the prize within the time stipulated by the Promoter then the prize will be forfeited and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the Major Prize. Promoter makes no representations or warranties about the attendance to the Grand Prize package of any individuals or groups involved in the competition.
25.In the event the chosen hotel is licensed to serve alcoholic beverages, the Promoter supports the responsible service and consumption of alcohol. Legal aged consumers who enter this promotion should be advised to consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the National Health and Medical Research Council Australian Alcohol Guidelines that are available at:
http://www.alcohol.gov.au/. Participation in this promotion is subject to relevant liquor legislation in each State, Territory or Country, including responsible service of alcohol.
26.Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not claim a prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited.
27.If a prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
28.Total Glam Squad Grand Prize pool value is up to $3,745 (ex. GST).
29.Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
30.A draw for any prizes, if unclaimed by 5:00PM on 02/08/16, may take place at 12:00PM on 03/08/16 at the same time and place as the original draws. The winner/s, if any, will be notified by phone.
31.Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
32.If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
33.Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
34.Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia ("Non-Excludable Guarantees"). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
35.Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:a.any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control);
b.Any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
c.Any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
d.Any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
e.Any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or
f.Faking and/or use of a prize.
36.As a condition of accepting a prize, the winner may be required to sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
37.The Primary Promoter and Joint Promoter collect personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter and Joint Promoter will use and handle PI as set out in their Privacy Policies, which can be viewed at
www.ppq.com.au/privacy-policy. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter's Privacy Policy, the Promoter and Joint Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter and Joint Promoter. The Promoter and Joint Promoter will not disclose entrants’ personal information to any entity outside of Australia.
