a) Entrants must be 18 years of age or over at the time of entry.

b) Entrants must be able to attend/travel to the Hughesy’s Hyena Hole Presentation Day on Wednesday 15th June, 2016, in Melbourne, VIC. Entrants unavailable to attend on this day will forfeit their entry.
c) Entrants must be a resident of Australia
d) The business idea that is submitted as part of the Competition must be unique and not currently exist in the market (as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion).
e) Entrants must have the legal right to the relevant business idea and must not infringe the rights (intellectual property or otherwise) of any other person by entering this competition.

During the Competition Period:

(a) Listeners will be invited via Station on-air commercials to visit
the Station Website and complete the online entry form by
providing their contact details and answering in 50 words or less “What is your BIG idea that you want to pitch to Hughesy’s Hyena Hole? Describe in detail what your business idea or product is and what is does”, the investment amount they are seeking and what they intend to do with the business funds. A photo upload to support the Entry is optional.
(b) Each entry submitted by the time specified will be individually reviewed by representatives of the Station. The Station will select the entries it deems to be the “best” (in its absolute discretion) from all valid entries received within the time period specified based on creativity, brand fit and suitability for radio.. The Station will then contact the relevant entrants to invite them to tell their story on-air; and
(c) if the relevant entrant tells their story on air and gets shortlisted to the top three (3) entrants in the Competition they will be deemed a Challenger and be invited to present their idea in person to Hughesy and Kate at the Challenge Event in Melbourne, VIC on Wednesday 15th June, 2016.

One entry per person during Competition Period.

Challenge details:
The challenges will involve pitching the business ideas that the Entrant has submitted online as part of their Entry for the Competition. The Entrant may pitch their idea in any way they see fit (within reason and in accordance with any time and other guidelines as set by the Promoter).
If the challenger satisfactorily completes the challenge within the time specified and in accordance with any other criteria for success as specified by the Station, the challenger will win a Prize. Should the challenger refuse, or fail to satisfactorily complete the challenge within the time specified, they will forgo any prize and the Station will not be required to conduct the challenge again. The Station’s decision as to the result of the challenge is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Challenger deemed to have made the ‘best’ pitch will also receive the major prize.
Challenge date: Wednesday 15th June, 2016, 6pm local time Challenge location: ARN, Level 2, 21-31 Goodwood St, Richmond, VIC, 3121
Challengers may be required to complete a medical questionnaire and/or sign an indemnity/waiver prior to taking part in any challenge. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify anyone it deems unsuitable to participate in a challenge based on potential risk to their health.


Each valid entry will be individually judged (by representatives of the Promoter) based on, among other things, Creativity, suitability for radio, originality, or as otherwise specified.

Prizes
There are up to three (3) Prizes to be won, as follows:
If winner is from NSW, QLD, SA, WA
A travel package for the Challenger comprising of:
- Return economy flight for one (1) from winner’s closest capital city to Melbourne, VIC departing Wednesday 15th June 2016 and returning Thursday 16th June 2016.
- One (1) night accommodation in a minimum 4* hotel in Melbourne (Hotel may vary between finalists and will be at the discretion of ARN). Check in Wednesday 15th June 2016 and Check out Thursday 16th June 2016
- Return airport transfers
- Transfers to and from ARN
- A cash amount of between $1,000 and $20,000 depending on the success of the Challenger’s pitch at the Challenge Event.
NSW, QLD, SA, WA prize package valued up to: $21,000AUD
If winner is from VIC
- A cash amount of between $1,000 and $20,000 depending on the success of the Challenger’s pitch at the Challenge Event
- One (1) night accommodation in a minimum 4* hotel in Melbourne (Hotel may vary between finalists and will be at the discretion of ARN). Check in Wednesday 15th June 2016 and Check out Thursday 16th June 2016
VIC prize package valued up to: $20,250 AUD
Major Prize
There is one (1) major prize to be won, as follows
- Opportunity to meet with “Hughesy” and his Representatives
to discuss further business opportunities at a time and date determined by Hughesy.


Up to $29,750 inc GST

Winners will be notified:
- on air at the time of winning
- In writing within two (2) working days of being determined

The Cash element of the prize will be transferred to the winner’s nominated bank account via electronic funds transfer.

 Travel must be taken on the date to be specified by the Promoter/ is subject to black-out period as specified by the Prize Provider. If the winner for whatever reason, unable to travel during these dates or do not take an element of the
prize within the time stipulated, then that element of the
prize will be forfeited by the winner.
 The winner is responsible for all other expenses not listed
above including but not limited to meals (other than those specified), incidentals, mini-bar, laundry, room service, phone calls, gratuities, optional activities and excursions, freight, excess baggage, ground transport, visas, spending money, travel insurance and all transfers, including travel costs to and from their closest capital city airport if the winner is from a regional area. A credit card imprint may be required at check- in to the hotel, for all incidental charges.
 It is the traveller’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports and visas which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at the destinations. Any fines, penalties, payments of expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the traveller.
 All prize travel will be subject to the carrier’s General Conditions of Carriage. The Promoters and carrier make no representations as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. By entering this Competition, and by collecting the prize, the winner acknowledges and accepts that driving, travel and any other activities comprising the prize, are inherently dangerous and may result in death, injury, incapacity, damage to property or other losses.
 The Promoter strongly recommends that all winners take out travel insurance and consult the www.smartraveller.gov.au website prior to travelling.
Photos/Videos and other material submitted as part of Entry
By entering this competition, Entrants agree that:
 All photos, videos or other material submitted as part of their
entry and owned by them;
 Materials do not contain images or copyright materials of
anyone else unless they have the express consent of that
person(s);
 Materials do not contain anything which is (as determined by
the Promoter in its discretion) obscene, defamatory, or
otherwise inappropriate.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Promoter reserves the right to invalidate any entry which does not meet the criteria above.
By entering this competition, Entrants grant to the Promoter a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty free licence to use the materials for the purposes of conducting the competition and for marketing and promotional purposes.
For the avoidance of doubt, information disclosed by entrants about their business ideas may be broadcast and/or otherwise made public by virtue of entering this competition. Entrants should seek legal advice prior to entering and/or disclosing their ideas publicly.
