The time has come! Imagine the magnitude; the possibilities; and the shoe-wardrobe of your dreams. We’re giving away a pair of shoes for every week of the year.
Entries are unlimited — and this year’s winner could be you!




The promoter is Shoes of Prey, Inc whose registered office is at 1221 2nd Street, Suite 300, Santa Monica CA 90401, United States.
Promotion details

    There is one main winner who will receive 52 pairs of shoes.
    In addition, there will be three local winners in each Nordstrom Design Studio in the US, in addition to the David Jones Design Studio in Australia. Entrants must attend a VIP Event in a design studio to be eligible for a local prize.
    Entries must be submitted via www.shoesofprey.com between 1 June 2016 00:01 PDT and 28 June 2016 23:59 PDT. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
    Entrants are allowed to enter the competition multiple times.
    This promotion is worldwide.
    The winner will be notified via email by EOD 6 July 2016 PDT.

Key prize details
Main prize winner:

The main prize winner is entitled to 52 pairs of shoes. You will receive credit to your account on www.shoesofprey.com for you to order as needed, the credits will be added to your account in a staggered process, with 4 shoes added each month for the first 11 months and 8 shoes added in the final month. The total prize value will depend on the shoes chosen, and will vary between US$6,708 and US$21,528 (we can only guarantee the number of shoes). The shoes will be delivered on standard delivery with no special request available.
Local winners:

The local winners are entitled to a catered shoe party, for up to six guests including the winner, in the respective Nordstrom or David Jones Design Studio within 3 months of being awarded the prize, and are also entitled to one free pair of shoes up to the value of US$300. The parties will be catered up to US$150.
Judging criteria

    All winners will be selected based on one winning outfit/flatlay and shoe design combination.
    All winners will be chosen based on a game of skill, as selected by Shoes of Prey Inc.
    Entries will be judged on the following 3 criteria:
        Wearability - the shoe design must be of a wearable nature in a mainstream fashion environment
        Complementary to the uploaded outfit - your shoe design must complement the outfit that you have uploaded
        Personal Twist - your shoe design must include a personal twist that makes it unique
    The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Judges

The judging panel is comprised of the Shoes of Prey Marketing team, which includes the Marketing Manager, Manager, Creative & Editorial, PR Manager and Art Director. The judging panel has a deep understanding of the Shoes of Prey brand and significant experience in their respective marketing specialities, including relevant tertiary qualifications.

By submitting your entry, you are accepting the terms and conditions of the competition.

    You are over 18 years of age.
    There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

    You must answer all questions presented and upload a photo of the outfit/flatlay and shoe design as designed on www.shoesofprey.com.
    The promoter reserves the right to determine validity of any entry.
    Entry must NOT promote a commercial/business enterprise, a charity, political, religious cause or any cause other than the theme of the Contest. Entry must NOT include any content that is unfit for publication (as determined by Shoes of Prey or judges in their sole discretion) or that has been previously published (online or otherwise).
    The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

Notification of acceptance

You will be notified by email that your submission has been accepted.
Ownership of submissions

    All entries and content submitted through the competition interface can be used by Shoes of Prey Inc in any way, in perpetuity.
    By submitting your entry, you waive all rights to content ownership.
    You must have ownership over any photos you submit through the content ownership, and submission of the photo is your consent for Shoes of Prey, Inc to publish the photo. If you upload material that violates or infringes upon the intellectual property or other rights of any third party (including but not limited to rights of publicity, privacy, trademark, copyright, or libel, defamation or slander), then your entry will be made null and void. Submissions including outfits designed on Covet App (CrowdStar Inc) will be accepted for entry.
    You understand and agree that all entries and content shall be deemed a “Work Made For Hire” under the copyright laws of the United States. If the entry is deemed not to constitute a “Work Made For Hire,” you agree, in exchange for good and valuable consideration in the amount of $1, to transfer and assign any and all rights, title, and interest in and to the entry and content to Shoes of Prey, including but not limited to the copyright and renewal rights in the entry and content, worldwide. You hereby waive in favor of Shoes of Prey, all rights of “Droit Moral” or “Moral Rights of Authors” or any similar rights or principles of law that you may now or later have to the entry or the Content.
    You further agree to execute all documents and take all actions deemed necessary by Shoes of Prey in its sole discretion, so as to effect, record or perfect the entry’s status as a “work made for hire” or the foregoing assignment, as applicable.

Prizing

    No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
    The winner’s name will be published on the website on 6 July 2016 or a list of winners can be obtained by request beginning on July 8 2016.

Limitation of liability

    Participation is subject to the Privacy Policy of www.shoesofprey.com. No responsibility is assumed by Shoes of Prey for lost, late, incomplete, irregular, damaged, misdirected or illegible entries; or for any computer, telephone, cable, satellite, network, electronic or Internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, connections, availability or garbled or jumbled transmissions, service provider/Internet/web site/use net accessibility or availability, traffic congestion or unauthorized human intervention. Shoes of Prey is not responsible for any incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate information, whether caused by web site users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest and assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to any website. Should there be any inconsistency between any Contest advertising material and these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control in all respects.
    The Contest is not sponsored or administered by Nordstrom, Inc.
