New research shows that using a wireless activity tracker, such as Fitbit, can make a big difference to your health and significantly reduce the impact of heart disease - Australia’s biggest killer of both men and women.
In the study^, increasing your daily steps from 1,000 to 10,000 showed a massive 46% reduction in mortality risk. Even increasing your daily steps by smaller amounts brought big improvements. Significantly, all changes were largely independent of BMI and other lifestyle factors.

Entries not received by that time & date or not completed in accordance with the Details of Participation will not be eligible to win.
Prize
Prize: Participants are eligible to win one of 10 Fitbit Zip wireless activity trackers, each valued at $79.95. Total prize pool is valued at $799.50. If any prize is unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to substitute another item for the prize, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value, subject to the approval of the relevant regulator. All prize values are correct at the time of printing.
Who can enter
Contest is open to all Australian residents, except residents of the Australian Capital Territory, aged 18 years or older who submit an eligible entry form in accordance with these Details of Participation. Employees and volunteers of the promoter and their immediate family members are eligible to enter. Supplier’s employees are eligible to enter.

Prize Draws
The odds of winning are based on the actual number of entries received. Neither the promoter nor any of their agencies are responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, incomplete or ineligible entries. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. All prizes are guaranteed to be given away by random drawing from all methods of entry of this contest. All prize draws and redraws will take place at Level 12/500 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 at 1.00pm AEST on the draw date. The prize draw will take place on 8 July 2016. If a prize is not claimed within 3 months of the draw date, a redraw will be conducted on 10 October 2016.

Winners will be notified by email where possible. The winners' names will be published on the Heart Foundation website on 15 July 2016.
