Yes, it’s that time again. The generous guys at Margaret River Central are offering some awesome prizes to local shoppers.
The competition is the same as last year – just pick up a competition card and get a stamp every time you buy something in Margaret River Central (must be over $20 in IGA). When you have five stamps you’re in! Drop your card into the collection box in the foyer and cross your fingers. Then fill out another one. Then another. Enter as many times as you like.
Winter Prize Draw Detailed Terms and Conditions
8 June 2016 – 29 July 2016
How to Enter
1. Collect a competition entry card from any participating store at Margaret River Central 110 Bussell Highway Margaret River Western Australia and complete the customer contact details on the entry card. All fields must be completed with valid contact information to be deemed valid.
2. Make a purchase at any of the participating stores during the competition period (you must spend a minimum of $20 at Riverfresh IGA but there is no minimum spend at the other stores) to collect a stamp on the competition entry card at the time of purchase. Only one stamp will be provided per retail transaction.
3. Once the customer has 5 stamps on the competition entry card the customer may put the card into the competition entry box in the foyer of Margaret River Central to go into the Prize Draw.
4. Customers may enter multiple times, but must make the required spend to receive the necessary stamps.
Duration of the Competition
The Competition Period commences at 7.00am on Wednesday 8 June 2016 and closes at 10.00am on Friday 29 July 2016.
Conditions of Entry
1. Entry is open to local residents over the age of 18 years old and resident within the postcode range of 6284 to 6290 only.
2. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and retailers within Margaret River Central and the retailers’ employees and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. . Definition from Fair Work Australia: “A member of the employee’s immediate family means a spouse, de facto partner, child, parent, grandparent, grandchild or sibling of an employee; or a child, parent, grandparent, grandchild or sibling of the employee’s spouse or de facto partner.”
3. Entries will not be accepted via post.
4. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entry forms
5. Receipts CANNOT be added together to total the required spend to get a stamp.
6. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. The prize(s) is/are not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
8. Margaret River Central, the Promoter and any participating retailer shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
9. All prizes from the advertised total prize pool will be distributed during, or after the completion of, the competition.
10. Prizes are subject to availability and can be altered at the Promoter’s discretion.
11. Participation in the competition implies acceptance by the participant of all conditions of entry which will be published on the Margaret River Central website for the duration of the competition.
12. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
13. Subject to regulatory approval the Promoter may cancel the Competition and not award the prize(s) where circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control prevent the Promoter from providing the prize(s). Should the Promoter cancel the Competition the Promoter will advertise that the Competition has been cancelled by placing a notice on the community notice board in the Centre and on the Margaret River Central website.
Details of Prize Draw
14. The first correct and eligible entry drawn at 10am on 29 July 2016 will win:
a. a 635L French Door Euro Fridge model valued at over $3000 (Including delivery to any address within the Augusta Margaret River Shire)
b. a $200 voucher to Riverfresh IGA supermarket.
15. The second correct and eligible entry drawn after 10am on 29 July 2016 will win a $400 voucher from Settlers Liquor Store.
16. The third correct and eligible entry drawn after 10am on 29 July 2016 will win a hamper filled with products and/or vouchers from Sidekick Café, Take 2 Hair Studio and the Margaret River Artisan Store. The hamper has the approximate value of $300.
17. The draw will take place at Margaret River Central Arcade, 110 Bussell Highway, Margaret River at 10am Friday 29 July 2016. Winners will be notified via phone and email and their name may be published on the Margaret River Central website or Facebook page.
Draw for unclaimed prizes
18. The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draws as is necessary at the Centre at 10.00am on Monday 12 August 2016 in order to distribute any unclaimed Prizes by that date.
19. The new winners will be notified by phone and email within 48 hours from the draw and their names may be published on the Margaret River Central website or Facebook page.
Customers Information
20. The Promoter collects personal information (“PI”) in order to conduct the competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI.
21. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed on the Margaret River Central website. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with.
22. If the customer chooses to accept the prize, the Promoter, reserves the right to use the customer’s name and photograph for marketing and publicity purposes.
Liability
23. The Promoter and any companies associated with this competition, accept no responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered [including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss] or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a consequence of the use and enjoyment of any item gained via the competition except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
24. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings or the use thereof. It is the responsibility of each entrant to seek independent advice on the possible implications this may have on their own financial situation.
25. Unless due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions, all valid prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool value will be honoured.
26. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, then it will be suspended subject to the approval of any relevant gaming authorities where required.
27. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition subject to the approval of the gaming authorities where required.
28. If all or any part of any term or condition contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be declared or become unenforceable, invalid or illegal for any reason, such term or provision

shall be deemed severed from these Conditions of Entry and the other terms and conditions hereof shall remain in full force.
