TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to residents of NSW, VIC, WA, SA, QLD and ACT. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
3. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to all terms and conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to this Promotion.
4. The ‘ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS: THE MOVIE’ online promotion commences on Thursday 7/07/16 and closes 11:59pm AEST on Wednesday 04/08/16 (“Promotional Period”).
5. Three (3) winners will be selected from entries and notified by 11am on Tuesday 9 August 2016, via email. If the winner/s do not respond to contact made by Tuesday 16 August by 3pm the prize will be forfeited and redrawn to the next available winner/s. No replacement prize will be given.
6. To enter, entrants must purchase a ticket to the Special Preview Screening of ‘ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS: THE MOVIE’ at HOYTS on August 3 at 6:45pm via buying tickets online at
www.hoyts.com.au during the promotional period and complete an online entry by answering in 25 words or less: What is it that makes you and your bestie absolutely fabulous?’. All entries must complete the promotional question to enter.
7. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
8. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.

www.hoyts.com.au for the ‘ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS: THE MOVIE’ promotion are permitted subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per member; (b) entry must be submitted by answering the promotional question in 50 words or less; and (c) entry must be submitted in accordance with entry requirements.
10. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit. All entries must be the original independent creation of the entrant and free of any claims that they infringe any third party rights. Entries must not have been published previously and/or have been used to win prizes in other competitions. Five entries will be judged by Hoyts Corporation as the best/most creative entries and will each win one of the major prizes. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of the judges, includes objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory images or language. The judge’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

14. The Promoter, prize provider and activity operators, in their absolute discretion, at all times reserve the right to: (a) prevent any winner and/or their companion from participating in the Activity if, at any time, they reasonably believe that they pose a safety risk or for any other reason; and/or (b) cancel the Activity if the conditions are deemed dangerous. (c) Vary and/or substitute the prize (or part thereof) without notice with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a State and/or Territory regulatory authority.
15. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner and companion must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or Prize Providers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
16. In the event that any prize item is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right, subject to the approval of any relevant trade lottery authority, to substitute a prize item of equal or greater value.
17. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
18. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
19. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
20. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
21. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and as required, to regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
