RAA Legends Competition Terms & Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of the conditions of entry.
2. All employees and their immediate families of the promoter and its related bodies corporate are
ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, de facto spouse, child or
step child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent,
brother, sister, step-brother or step-sister.
3. The competition commences 12.01am (ACST) Friday 26 August 2016 and closes 23:59pm
(ACST) Sunday 28 August 2016 (“Promotion Period”).
4. Eligibility Criteria applies:
Entrants must download the myRAA app;
Entrants must complete the online competition entry form found at
www.raa.com.au/competition/legends-competition and enter the code word ‘RAA
Legends’; and
Entrants must be 18 years of age and over to be eligible to enter.
5. The myRAA application is available to download for free from either the Apple App Store or
Google Play.
6. Entrants must provide full and valid contact details including full name, contactable phone
number and email address to enter.
7. The competition consists of 1 major draw and 3 minor prize draws which entitles winners to one of:
Major Prize:
• Dinner for you and five friends to have dinner with 2 Crows Legends at a venue of your
choice, up to $1,500 value. Dinner must be taken before 30 June 2017 valued at $2,500
(including player appearance fees);
• 1 signed guernsey worn by the Crows Legends who played in the RAA Legends game on
Friday, 26 August 2016 valued at $250
Minor Prizes:
1. 4 tickets to the Crows Wine bar for a game in 2017 (excluding show down) valued at $1,280
2. Private training session at Port Adelaide in 2017 for up to 20ppl valued at $5,000
3. 1 signed guernsey worn by the Crows Legends who played in the RAA Legends game on
Friday, 26 August 2016 valued at $250
8. Prize is valued in Australian dollars. Total prize pool is valued at $9,280 (major prize $2,750 and
minor prizes $6,530).
9. The prize draws will take place at 10am on Monday 29 August 2016 at RAA, 101 Richmond Road,
Mile End, SA, 5031.
10. The first entries drawn that fulfil the competition entry criteria will win the prize.
11. Winner(s) will be drawn through a random electronic process.
12. The prize winners will be notified by phone and the results published online at
www.raa.com.au/competitions on Friday 2 September 2016.
13. If the prizes remains unclaimed for 28 days of the original notification under clause 27, the
Promoter will conduct a redraw/s at 2.00pm (ACST) at the same place as the original draw on 26
September 2016 subject to any applicable law. The winner, if any, will be notified by
email/mail/phone and prize winners will also be published online at
www.raa.com.au/competitions on Friday 30 September 2016.
14. The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or taken for cash.
15. The winners agree to make themselves available for publicity opportunities at the discretion of the
promoter for a period of three months after the collection of prizes.
16. The promoter is the Royal Automobile Association of SA Inc. 101 Richmond Road, Mile End, SA,

17. Internet entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by RAA and not at the time of
transmission. Entries received will be considered final by RAA. Incomplete, inaccurate,
erroneous, ineligible or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. RAA accepts no
responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.
18. RAA reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry and reserves the right to disqualify any
Entrant for: (a) tampering with the entry process; (b) submitting an entry which is not in
accordance with these Conditions of Entry; or (c) if the Entrant is engaged in any unlawful or
other improper conduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.
RAA’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an Entrant are reserved.
19. Entrants who provide incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information are ineligible to participate in
the promotion and all entries of an Entrant who is deemed by RAA to have provided incorrect,
misleading or fraudulent information may, at the discretion of RAA, be deemed invalid. RAA
reserves the right to request the Entrant produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo
identification or other documentation (to RAA’s satisfaction) in order to confirm the Entrant’s
identity, age, residential address, eligibility to enter and claim the Prize, and any information
submitted by the Entrant in entering the promotion, before issuing the Prize. If the
documentation required by RAA is not received by RAA or an Entrant or entry has not been
verified or validated to RAA’s satisfaction then all the entries of that Entrant will be ineligible and
deemed invalid.
20. The promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
21. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
(i) inaccurate/incorrect transcription of entry information;
(ii) purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost,
misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, sent with
insufficient postage (where entry is by post), or sent other than as directed in the entry
instructions;
(iii) any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone
network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer
equipment, or software;
(iv) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion
on the Internet or at any website;
(v) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;
(vi) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition;
(vii) any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to,
consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or
negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for
supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where
applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a winner; or
(viii) any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant’s or any other
person’s computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in
this competition.
22. The promoter shall not be liable for any tax implications that may arise as a result of accepting
any prize. Independent financial advice should be sought by any person participating in the
promotion.
23. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably
anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter
reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any
entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend,
terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate
