How to put your Dad in the running:
1. Simply purchase a ticket to ANY film session on Father’s Day (Sept 4) online or Cinebuzz Members can also purchase at the box office, just remember to swipe your Cinebuzz card!
2. Receive your entry e-mail and follow the instructions on how to enter. Please allow up to 48 hours to receive your entry e-mail after buying your tickets, also be sure to check your Junk/Spam folder.
To enter the Promotion an Entrant will be required to:
a. Non-members –
i. Purchase a ticket to any movie session on Father’s Day (Sunday 4 September) online at any Event, BCC or Greater Union Cinemas online or via the Event Cinema iPhone, iPad or android application or via mobile phones at m.eventcinemas.com.au during the competition dates.
ii. Enter via the competition link located on the ticket confirmation banner and submit an entry that is 25 words or less that responds to the following question: ‘What makes your Dad so special and why?’
b. Cinebuzz members –
i. Purchase a ticket to any movie session on Father’s Day (Sunday 4 September) online at any Event, BCC or Greater Union Cinemas

ii. A member must be signed in or scan card when purchasing a ticket on Sunday 04 September 2016 for entry to be valid.

Enter via the competition link located on the ticket confirmation banner or qualifying members will also be sent an email on Monday 04 September 2016 linking to competition page on, and submit an entry that is 25 words or less that responds to the following question: ‘What makes your Dad so special and why?’
Major Prize details:
Gold Class (Subject to location capabilities) or Traditional private screening of the AFL or NRL Grand Final for 40 people at their local Event Cinemas, BCC or Greater Union Cinemas
Food and Beverage: one popcorn and drink (House beer – Hahn Super Dry, house wine or soft drink: Alcoholic beverages are subject to State liquor licensing laws) per person.
