By entering the Sunrise/ One&Only Hayman Island ‘MARRY IN THE MORNING’ Competition Competition, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia over the age of 18 years old where the Channel Seven signal is received.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of Seven Network (Operations) Limited, One&Only Resorts and their associated agencies, sponsors and companies are not eligible to enter.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition commences on Monday 5 September 2016 at 7.30am AEST and concludes on Wednesday 14 September 2016 at 4.00pm AEST.
3.2 In order to enter the competition, viewers must watch Sunrise (“the Program”) on the Seven Network from Monday 5 September 2016 and Wednesday 14 September 2016 where Sunrise will promote the Competition on selected days during the Competition Period.
3.3 To enter, entrants can either:
(a) access the entry form located at yahoo7.com.au/sunrise between Monday 5 September 2016 at 7.30am AEST and Wednesday 14 September 2016 at 4.00pm AEST, complete the entry form, and press submit. The entry must include entrants name, address, state, postcode and daytime contact telephone number (including STD area code) and YouTube URL address with their uploaded video which answers the competition question and a photo of the bride and groom; or
(b) submit an entry via email to
sunrisewedding@seven.com.au between Monday 5 September 2016 at 7.30am AEST and Wednesday 14 September 2016 at 4.00pm AEST, complete the entry form, and press submit. The entry must include entrants name, address, state, postcode and daytime contact telephone number (including STD area code), video attachment which answers the competition question and a photo of the bride and groom.
3.4 Entries must be received Wednesday 14 September at 4.00pm AEST.
3.5 Entries are limited to one entry per person.
3.6 The entry must be:
(a) the original independent creation of the entrant;
(b) free from any claims, including copyright or trademark claims, by other parties; and
3.7 Entry details remain the property of the Promoters and will not be returned to the entrant. The winners agree to grant the Promoters a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use their entries in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
3.8 Entries will not be accepted via phone, SMS, fax and mail – only online or via email.
4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be a total of one (1) major prize winner of the competition. The prize includes:
• 2 x return economy flights for the Bride and Groom (including checked baggage up to a maximum of 20 kilos) from winner’s nearest capital city to Hamilton Island;
• Up to an additional 8 x return economy flights for guests of the Bride and Groom (including checked baggage up to a maximum of 20 kilos) from the guests nearest capital city to Hamilton Island;
• A wedding package with the following inclusions:
− Return luxury yacht transfers from Abell Point or Great Barrier Reef Airport for the Bride and
Groom and up to 8 guests;
− Accommodation for the Bride and Groom and up to 8 guests at One&Only Hayman Island (see clause 4.2 - 4.7 for accommodation inclusions and conditions);
− An exclusive One&Only Hayman Island wedding ceremony set up including sound system and sabering of champagne toast, chilled champagne and orange juice served at ceremony conclusion (see clause 4.8 - 4.11 for ceremony inclusions and conditions);
− A lavish at One&Only Hayman Island wedding reception for the Bride and Groom and up to 18 guests including Chef’s selection of pre-reception canapes, a lavish three course plated brunch or lunch set menu, two hour beverage package, DJ/MC to the value of $1,000 and a wedding cake cut and served on table platters (see clause 4.12 - 4.17 for wedding reception inclusions and conditions);
− Services of a dedicated wedding planner;
− Services of a Civil Celebrant;
− Decoration and theming for ceremony and/or reception to the value of $5,000;
− Flowers for the ceremony and/or reception to the value of $5,000;
− Photography package to the value of $5,000;
− Garment steaming – wedding dress and groom’s suit;
− Hair and make-up for Bride, Maid of Honour and Bridesmaid; and
− A honeymoon for the Bride and Groom including 3 nights’ accommodation, a reserved private Cabana on Saturday 22 October 2016 and a Whitehaven and Outer Reef discovery tour.
Total Prize Value $95,000 Accommodation
4.2 Wedding accommodation is based on two adults per room and includes full daily breakfast in the Pacific overlooking the Coral Sea.
− 2 nights’ accommodation in a Beach Villa at One&Only Hayman Island for the Bride and Groom on Wednesday 19 October 2016 and Thursday 20 October 2016;
− 2 nights’ accommodation in a Pool Suite at One&Only Hayman Island for the Bride’s parents on Wednesday 19 October 2016 and Thursday 20 October 2016;
− 2 nights’ accommodation in a Pool Suite at One&Only Hayman Island for the Groom’s parents on Wednesday 19 October 2016 and Thursday 20 October 2016;
− 2 nights’ accommodation in a Retreat Room at One&Only Hayman Island for the Maid of Honour and bridesmaid on Wednesday 19 October 2016 and Thursday 20 October 2016;
− 2 nights’ accommodation in a Retreat Room at One&Only Hayman Island for the Best Man and groomsman on Wednesday 19 October 2016 and Thursday 20 October 2016; and
− 3 nights’ accommodation for the Bride and Groom for their honeymoon in a Beach Villa on Friday 21 October, Saturday 22 October and Sunday 23 October 2016.
4.3 Accommodation prizes are not transferable, available for sale or redeemable for cash. Prize must be redeemed on the dates specified or prize will be forfeited. Any additional incidental charges such as meals (other than those specified), mini-bar, laundry, room service, telephone calls, etc., charged to your room are at your expense and should be settled prior to departure.
4.4 Registration, including address, signature and credit card imprint, will be completed on board the launch transfer from Great Barrier Reef Airport (on Hamilton Island) or upon arrival to One&Only Hayman Island. Check-in time is 2.00pm. Access to rooms prior to 2.00pm is only guaranteed if rooms are pre-registered from the previous evening at the applicable full night rate. Check-out is 12.00 noon or earlier to correspond with the launch and flight departures. Late check-out is subject to availability on the day.
4.5 One&Only Hayman Island reserves the right to review the room allocation. Room allocations with reference to Pool, Lagoon, Beach or Run of House, are subject to change at One&Only Hayman Island’s sole discretion based on refurbishment programs, maintenance works or other resort activities which may be occurring at any given time.
4.6 Included in the room rate is a full buffet breakfast at Pacific Restaurant. Guests who choose to order breakfast through In Room Dining will incur charges on their individual room accounts.
4.7 Payment for any incidental charges must be made by credit card. Surcharges may apply.
Wedding Ceremony
4.8 The wedding ceremony will take place on Friday 21 October 2016 at One&Only Hayman Island and will be broadcast live during Sunrise on Channel 7 or regional affiliates.
4.9 The ceremony location on Friday 21 October 2016 and final decisions regarding all decoration, timings, theming, set up and visual items is at the sole discretion of One&Only Hayman Island and the Promoter.
4.10 Your celebrant will be chosen by the Promoter and they will be authorised under Australian Law to marry you according to the laws of Australia.
4.11 The prize winner will be required to sign a ‘Notice of Intent to Marry’ in accordance with The Commonwealth Marriage Act of Australia and lodge it with the Promoter’s Authorised Marriage Celebrant one month before the marriage is solemnised.
Wedding Reception
4.12 The wedding reception prize secures you the services of One&Only Hayman Island to arrange and/or provide products and services required for the upcoming wedding on Friday 21 October 2016 for the bride and groom and up to 18 guests. Any additional products, services and options requested by you that are not included in the prize, will be individually quoted upon request, and all costs incurred in the supply of those additional products, services and options will be payable by the bride and groom.
4.13 The reception location will be chosen by the Sunrise production team and One&Only Hayman Island, and is at their total discretion. Final decision regarding all decoration, theming, set up, locations and visual items is at the sole discretion of One&Only Hayman Island and the Sunrise production team. Further terms and conditions apply and are available on request.
4.14 One&Only Hayman Island reserves the right to adjust the brunch or lunch menu without notice.
4.15 One&Only Hayman Island and the Promoter also reserve the right to change venues at short notice should reasonable circumstances arise i.e. Inclement weather or change in number of guests. Further, venues and dining/catering location are also subject to change at One&Only Hayman Island’s sole discretion based on refurbishment programs, maintenance works or other resort activities which may be occurring at any given time.
4.16 One&Only Hayman Island upholds the principles of responsible service of alcohol and in accordance with the liquor license applicable to the premises, One&Only Hayman Island reserves the right to refuse service to persons suspected of being under the age of 18 years and to any person who shows signs of intoxication. One&Only Hayman Island also reserves the right to remove offending guest/s from the premises or to close the bar entirely.
4.17 No items are to be attached, pinned or glued to any wall surface within One&Only Hayman Island. All signage must be approved by One&Only Hayman Island management prior to the event.
Flights
4.18 If the prize winner, companion or guests are from a regional area, travel arrangements to and from the nearest capital city airport do not form part of the prize and are the responsibility of the winner.
4.19 The prize is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or other goods or services and cannot be taken in parts. Air tickets will not be exchanged for another destination.
4.20 Flights offered as part of the prize in Clause 4.1 must be redeemed to coincide with the wedding on xx, and cannot be used at any other time in the future.
4.21 The prize winner and their nominated travel companion must travel together on all flights. Seats will not be exchanged for another destination.
4.22 All flights are subject to booking and flight availability and must be taken to coincide with the specified dates.
4.23 Prize travel is subject to availability at the time of booking. Winners and their companions must travel together on all prize travel and will not accrue Qantas Frequent Flyer points on the prize travel or accommodation. An upgrade cannot be purchased on airfares with cash or Qantas Frequent Flyer points.
4.24 Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. A prize cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Promoter. There can be no changes made to travel arrangements once tickets are issued. The prize must be used as stated, otherwise it will be forfeited.
4.25 After tickets have been booked and confirmed, any travel variations costs incurred due to travel variations are the winner’s responsibility and must be booked separately by the winner. Travel variations include, but are not limited to extension of travel duration, travellers’ outside of the age restriction and additional travellers.
General
4.26 All prize elements are subject to availability. Prize must be redeemed to coincide with the dates stipulated in these terms and conditions or the prize will be forfeited. If the prize is transferred it will be forfeited. No cash credit will be issued for any unused portion of a prize. One&Only Hayman Island and its associated agencies and companies shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of accepting any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. We always recommend purchasing travel insurance.
4.27 The winners are responsible for all other expenses including wedding related expenses (unless specified) spending money, vaccinations, in-room charges, taxes, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, gratuities, services charges, items of a personal nature, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs.
4.28 Prize value is correct as at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.
4.29 The Bride and Groom and their wedding party must agree to undertake any shoots as determined by the Promoter and must agree to appear on live television on Sunrise on dates determined by the Promoter.
4.30 One&Only Hayman Island reserves the right to supply an alternative product or service in place of a prize inclusion should that prize inclusion be cancelled or changed due to unforeseen circumstances or foreseeable factors such as weather, timing changes etc. You understand that One&Only Hayman Island may pass your personal information onto other suppliers associated with the planning of your wedding, and that from time to time, however only where necessary, these suppliers may contact you directly for more information regarding your requirements. You understand that the prize does not guarantee the availability of other products and services you may require which are not included in the prize, however where possible, we will ensure your preferred options can be supplied as part of your wedding, at the relevant additional price. All prize inclusions are not transferrable, subject to availability, and not redeemable for cash.
4.31 As a condition of accepting the photography package, you understand One&Only Hayman Island or company’s chosen by One&Only Hayman Island may utilise the photographs and video footage taken at your wedding, ceremony and reception within the context of but not limited to promotional, display, competition and advertising material. E.g. website, newspaper or magazine features and adverts and AIPP professional photography and video competitions. You understand One&Only Hayman Island may need to provide your contact details to publications who may wish to contact you to gather information for a story or editorial to
accompany your images. You understand that you agree to your photos being displayed on our online gallery and social platforms for family and friends to view soon after the wedding.
4.32 Any additional cleaning requirements which One&Only Hayman Island considers to be in excess of general cleaning, the guest will be billed for applicable charges.
4.33 If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
4.34 Prize must be taken to coincide with the scheduled wedding on Friday 21 October 2016 on One&Only Hayman Island or the prize will be forfeited. If the prize is forfeited no cash credit will be issued for any unused option of a prize.
4.35 Couples who have already booked a wedding on One&Only Hayman Island are not eligible to enter this competition.
4.36 Prizes are subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
4.37 In participating in the prizes, the winners agree to participate and co-operate with the Promoter and the Sponsor as required in all editorial and promotional activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winners agree to grant to the Promoter a perpetual and exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.38 The winners agree they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
4.39 Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash. Winners should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be five (5) shortlisted entries judged by a panel of representatives appointed by the Promoter to be the most creative and/or original from the national pool received. All entries will be judged at on Thursday 15 September 2016 at Sunrise office at 52 Martin Place, Sydney, NSW 2000. The competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.
5.2 All shortlisted entrants must be available for an interview to validate their entry and confirm their availability to receive the prize in full on either Sunday 17 September 2016 or Monday 18 September 2016.
5.3 One (1) winner will be determined and notified of their prize on Wednesday 20 September 2016.
5.2 The judges’ decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.3 Incomprehensible and illegible or entries without a valid URL link will be deemed invalid.
5.4 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and prize supplier’s requirements.
5.5 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter and the Sponsor, as the case may be, in their absolute discretion.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel, modify or suspend the competition.
6.2 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, the Sponsors and its franchisees and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
Seven Network (Operations) Limited & affiliates, the Sponsors and its franchisees and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
a) during the judging;
b) whilst undertaking any travel won or connected with their entry into the competition; or
c) in the participation in any prize;
d) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
e) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
f) in relation to failure of an entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion;
g) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer software related to or resulting from participation in this promotion
6.4 The Promoter reserves the right to reasonably amend or vary these terms and conditions at its sole discretion, orally or in writing, for the purpose of Seven’s programming, scheduling or production requirements.
6.5 The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
6.6 Seven Network (Operations) Limited and the Sponsor assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
6.7 If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition
