Entrants aged under 18 years must obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter the promotion and provide personal information about themselves. All entries of entrants who are under the age of 18 years and enter the promotion without disclosing (or attempting to conceal) their age (as and where required) and/or do not provide the required parental or guardian consent (as and where required) will be deemed invalid. These Terms of Entry will bind the entrants and any parent or legal guardian who gives their consent (for entrants aged under 18 years). If the winner is aged under 18 years, prizes will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian who consented to the winner registering in the promotion on behalf of the winner, at the sole discretion of the Promoter, and that parent or legal guardian must accompany the winner for the duration of the prize (if applicable).
Tickets for the event are recommended for children between the ages of 8-15 years having a minimum height of 140cm. Children not meeting the age and height requirements may be refused entry into the standing floor area and will not be provided seating within the venue. For the avoidance of doubt, adults are allowed to stand in this area as determined by the venue in its sole and absolute discretion.
The venue reserves the right to refuse entry into the ticketed area if it reasonably believes the child does not fit within the height and age range.
Dress standards apply (at the discretion of the venue). The Promoter will not be liable and takes no responsibility for any refusal of entry by the venue of any person for any reason.
Entrants and their companion/s must be able to attend the Nickelodeon Slimefest on one of the following dates in the state of the entrant’s ordinary residential address:
VIC – Sunday 25th September 2016 OR
SYD – Friday 30th September 2016
Dates and schedules of the prizes are not under the Promoter’s control and are subject to change. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any date or schedule changes.
If requested by the Promoter (in its sole discretion), entrants [and their companion/s] must sign an indemnity and exclusion of liability form in order to be eligible to win and participate in the prize. Entrants under the age of 18 years old must get a parent or guardian to sign the indemnity form.
Entrants (or their parent/legal guardian, where the entrant is under 18 years of age) must be able to collect the prize from the Promoter’s premises in the state of the entrant’s ordinary residential address, as specified by the Promoter.
An entrant who has won prizes to the value of $10,000 or more, in any promotion(s) run by the Promoter in the previous six (6) months prior to their Entry in this promotion is ineligible to enter this promotion.
The promotion begins at 5:30am AEST on Monday 12th September 2016.
Entries into the promotion close at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 18th September 2016.
Online Entry
During the Promotion Period entrants will be invited via Station on-air commercials to visit the Station Website and fully complete the online entry form in the manner required, including by providing their full name, mobile telephone number, current and valid email address, age and answering in 25 words or less the question “Who would you most like to see slimed and why?” (Answer)
Each valid entry received during the Promotion Period will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter (Judges) in accordance with the Judging details below. The Judges will select the 20 entries (10 from Melbourne and 10 from Sydney) they deem to be the “best” (based on the Judging Criteria) from all valid entries received within the Promotion Period and award those entrants a prize.
Entrants will also be asked at the time of entry if they would like to receive further information from Nickelodeon Australia Management Pty Ltd, and if an entrant selects “yes” (via opt in tick box) when completing the online entry form their contact details will be passed on to Nickelodeon Australia Management Pty Ltd (including for the purposes of direct marketing). Entrants may at any time unsubscribe from communications from Nickelodeon Australia Management Pty Ltd by following the unsubscribe procedure contained in Nickelodeon Australia Management Pty Ltd communications sent to subscribers.
Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish however each entry must be submitted via a separate online entry form and must independently comply with these Terms of Entry.
For the avoidance of doubt, entrants may only win one prize each.
