Spruce up your humble abode with the new homewares range from Kate Sylvester and Thing Industries.

Thing x Sylvester, Kate Sylvester, homewares, accessories, planter

Kate Sylvester’s naughty little sister Sylvester has joined forces with New York-based homeware brand Thing Industries to develop a collection of fun, quirky homewares – and we’ve managed to snatch up a full set to give away. Huzzah! Founded by New York-based New Zealander Bridie Picot in 2013, Thing Industries deals in optimistic and adventurous objects for your home. Picot first crossed paths with New Zealand designer Kate Sylvester when she scored her first modelling job in the late ’90s, and the pair rekindled their creative friendship nearly 15 years later when they discussed the idea of collaborating on a collection of ‘home things’.

The new range consists of a luxe printed beach towel, a cute cactus hook, a printed birdhouse bookshelf with a roof designed to hold your place in the book you’re reading, as well as a pair of ceramic bookend planters made by Gidon Bing in Auckland.

One lucky winner will be adding these fine specimens to their home:

2x Ceramic Bookend Planters (in white and cream)
2x Cactus Hooks (in green and white)
1x Woodgrain Beach Towel
1x Woodgrain Birdhouse Bookshelf.

Entries will be judged on 30 Sep, 2016 at nextmedia Level 6, 207 Pacific Hwy, St Leonards NSW 2065. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
