Entrants must be 18 years of age or over.
The Promoter may require entrants to provide proof of age in a form acceptable to the Promoter. Should an entrant be unable to satisfy this requirement, the entrant will be ineligible for the prize.
Entrants must be able to collect the prize from the Promoter’s premises in the state of the entrant’s ordinary residential address, as specified by the Promoter.
An entrant who has won prizes to the value of $5,000 or more, in any promotion(s) run by the Promoter in the previous six (6) months prior to their Entry in this promotion is ineligible to enter this promotion.
The promotion begins at 5:00PM AEST on Friday 23rd September, 2016.
Entries into the promotion close at 2:00 PM AEST on Friday 30th September, 2016.
Web Entry
During the Promotion Period entrants must visit the Station Website and fully complete the online entry form in the manner required, including by:
(a) providing their full name, contact telephone number, current and valid email address and any other personal information requested by the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion); and
(b) answering the following question in 25 words or less: ‘Why should we put you on air with Kate, Tim & Marty?’ (Answer).
Each entry will be individually reviewed by representatives of the Promoter (Judges) based on the Judging Criteria.
Each weekday during the Promotion Period between 1:00 PM AEST and 3:00 PM AEST the Judges (in their sole and absolute discretion) will:
a) select up to ten (10) entrant/s judged to have submitted the ‘best’ entries based on the Judging Criteria (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) from all valid entries submitted by 1:00 PM AEST that day during the Promotion Period;
b) contact up to ten (10) of the entrant/s (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) by telephone to discuss their online entry and assess the entrant’s suitability for radio (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion); and
c) invite up to ten (10) of the ‘best’ entrants (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) (each, a Selected Entrant) to appear on air and participate in the On Air Challenge between 4.00pm (AEST) and 6.00pm (AEST) that weekday (On Air Challenge).
On Air Challenge
During each On Air Challenge:
d) the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion) will have a pre- determined theme, which will be announced on air at the start of the On Air Game (Theme);
e) each Selected Entrant will be invited to appear on air (one after the other), to sing a karaoke song of their choice relating to the Theme (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion).
f) at the conclusion of the On Air Game, the Judges will select the one (1) Selected Entrant who performed the ‘best’ (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) in the On Air Challenge that weekday. That Selected Entrant will be deemed a winner and awarded a prize.
For the avoidance of doubt, participants in the On Air Challenge will be judged on enthusiasm, creativity, suitability for radio and uniqueness.
If for any reason a Selected Entrant is unable to be contacted, or is otherwise unable to, or declines to, appear on air, or their phone line drops out, the Promoter (at its sole and absolute discretion) may decide
to replace that Selected Entrant by contacting another entrant and inviting them to participate in the On-Air Game as a Selected Entrant. The Promoter will repeat this process until an entrant is able to be contacted and confirms their eligibility and ability to participate in the On- Air Game as a Selected Entrant.
For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not mean they have been selected as a that Selected Entrant and they may not be invited to appear on air and participate in the On-Air Game and/or be awarded a prize.
For the avoidance of doubt, even if a Selected Entrant appears on air and participates in the On Air Challenge, it does not mean that the Selected Entrant has been selected as the winner in this Promotion, and that entrant may not be awarded a Prize. The winner will only be determined in accordance with the Judging Criteria below at the conclusion of each On Air Challenge.
For the avoidance of doubt, Selected Entrants must appear on air during the Promotion Period to be deemed a winner and awarded a prize.
Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish however each entry must be submitted via a separate online entry form and must independently comply with these Terms of Entry.
For the avoidance of doubt, entrants may only win one prize each.
All valid entries will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter by at the Promoter’s premises to determine winners. All valid entries will be judged based on the Judging Criteria. The winner will be notified in accordance with the Notification of Winners information set out below.
Entrants and their online entry will be individually judged by the Judges based on creativity, uniqueness, enthusiasm and appeal for radio. Participants in the On Air Challenge will be judged on enthusiasm, creativity and uniqueness.
There are up to five (5) prizes to be won, as follows:
Prize:
One (1) x Flat screen television valued at up to $2500 (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion)
Two (1) x drinks and food vouchers valued at up to $250 (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion)
Total Prize Value: up to $2750 (inc GST)
Vouchers are valid until the voucher expiry date as specified on the voucher or by the provider of the voucher. Vouchers are subject to the conditions stipulated by the provider of the voucher.
Up to $13,750 (incl GST)
Winners will be notified:
- via telephone; and/or
- on air at the time of winning;
by Friday 30th September, 2016
Prize/s must be claimed by 12:30 PM local time on Friday 30th December, 2016.
The prize/s will be available for collection by the winner from the Promoter’s premises. The Promoter will contact the winner when their prize is ready for collection.
