Terms and Conditions of Entry for the “Win a Trip to France Competition" (Promotion)

1. Information on How to Enter and prize information form part of these Conditions of Entry (Conditions of Entry).
2. Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
3. The Entrant is responsible for ensuring his or her familiarity with the Conditions of Entry at the time of participation. The Promoter’s decision not to enforce a specific restriction (whether communicated to an Entrant or not) does not constitute a waiver of that restriction or of the Conditions of Entry generally.
4. All Entrants acknowledge that the Promoter can rely on these Conditions of Entry even if the Promoter only learns of a person’s ineligibility after the Promoter has awarded a prize to the ineligible person. Return of a prize or payment of its equivalent value to the Promoter may be required by the Promoter if this occurs.
5. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of these Conditions of Entry and the Promotion is final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
6. The Promoter is Electrolux Home Products Pty Ltd (ABN 51 004 762 341) of 163 O’Riordan St, Mascot NSW 2020 (Promoter)


PROMOTION PERIOD
7. The Promotion commences 12:00 AM AEDT on 19/09/2016 and ends 23:59 AEDT on 31/10/2016 (Promotion Period).
8. Entry in the Promotion is only open to Australian and New-Zealand residents aged 18 years and over, excluding those that are:
(a) management, employees, directors and contractors of the Promoter, its related entities, as well as other agencies, firms or companies associated with the Promotion such as Atout France, Langton’s, Gourmet Traveller and Air France (including suppliers of prizes);
(b) a spouse, de-facto spouse, parent, guardian, child or sibling of a person referred to in paragraph 8 (a) of these Conditions of Entry;
(c) persons who have breached the terms and conditions of any promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter including the present promotion;
(d) a resident of the North Territory as the North Territory’s laws do not authorise the awarding of alcohol as a prize. There will be no replacement should a resident of the North Territory win one of the prizes.


Eligible Entrants
The persons referred to in paragraph 8(c) of these Conditions of Entry include natural and non-natural relations (in the opinion of the Promoter) and the Promoter is responsible for determining whether a person is an Eligible Entrant in its absolute discretion.

HOW TO ENTER
9. To enter and be eligible to win, Eligible Entrants must, during the Promotion Period:
(a) Visit the dedicated website of the competition www.ultimatefrenchwine.com, follow the steps and answer correctly to the questions before submitting their entries
(b) This is a game of skills and the winner will be drawn randomly by computer among correct entries.
(c) Anyone found intentionally creating multiple registrations to generate entries (whether using several email accounts, false name or abbreviated name) will be immediately disqualified from the Promotion.

PRIZES:
- During the promotion period there will be 1 main prize to be won with a total value of AUD20,000 constituted of:

- A “Transtherm ‘Prestige’ Castel” wine cabinet valued at AUD$9,000 provided by the Promoter, including free of charge delivery to capital metro areas only in Australia and New Zealand (Delivery to capital metro areas only. Any delivery premium to regional areas to be borne by winner).

- Two return eco airfares from Australia or New-Zealand (depart from Sydney OR Auckland only) to Paris (value AUD$6,000) provided by Air France.

- Three hotel stays with 2 nights in Paris, 2 nights in Bordeaux and 2 nights in Burgundy (minimum value AUD$2,000) provided by Atout France.

- The wines to fill the cellar (minimum value AUD$3,000) provided by Langton’s, including free of charge delivery to capital metro areas only in Australia and New Zealand (Delivery to capital metro areas only. Any delivery premium to regional areas to be borne by winner). Plus, private winery visits in Bordeaux or Burgundy organised by Langton’s.


- Note: local ground transfers in France not included in prize (i.e. between Paris, Bordeaux and Burgundy). It is the responsibility of the Winner to organise local ground transfers during trip in France.

- Method for the draw: Drawn by computer on the 02/11/2016 at Electrolux Home Products Pty Ltd, 163 O’Riordan St, Mascot NSW 2020.

- Unclaimed prize draw: Winners are given 3 months to claim the prize.
If the prize is still unclaimed on 02/02/2017 we will proceed to another computer draw among eligible entrants at Electrolux Home Products Pty Ltd,163 O’Riordan St, Mascot NSW 2020 the 02/02/2017.

- Travel dates for the airfares, hotel stays and winery visits from 02/11/2016 to 02/11/2017, subject to availability (valid 1 year from the draw).

- The wine cabinet and wine stock can be claimed within 1 year from the first draw on 02/11/2016, subject to stock availability (valid 1 year from the draw).

NOTIFICATIONS OF WINNER
- The Winner will be contacted by email and, if necessary by phone the 02/11/2016.

- The name of the winner will be published on the following Promoter website by the 04/11/2016 on www.ultimatefrenchwine.com and in a Promoter e-newsletter to all entrants.

- Winner to liaise with the Promoter to organise travel dates and redemption of various prize components.

GENERAL
- Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Prizes must be taken as offered and may not be varied.
- The Promoter shall not be liable for Prizes being lost, stolen or damaged after they have been released to the winners, nor for any travel delays caused by flight delays and associated damages.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the Promotion Period. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries.
- Prize winners must, at the Promoter's request, participate in any Promotion activity (such as publicity and photography) relating to the winning of a Prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and image in any future promotional material.
- The Promoter encourages responsible drinking. Legal-aged consumers should be advised to consider safe drinking levels recommended in the National Health and Medical Research Council Australian Alcohol Guidelines
PERSONAL INFORMATION
- All entries become the sole property of the Promoter.
- The information entrants provide (Personal Information) will be used by the Promoter in line with the terms and conditions of the Promotion and this Privacy Policy.
- Upon entering the promotion, entrants accepting to opt-in to the Promotion’s partners communications accept to receive email communications from the partners involved in the promotion (Langton’s, Air France, Atout France, Gourmet Traveller).
- Entrants can opt-out of communication from the Promoter & its partners at any stage.
- The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.
