RACV members have the chance to win a double weekend pass to Historic Sandown.
Widely regarded as one of Australia’s most important historic race meetings, Historic Sandown attracts competitors from all corners of Australia as well as from overseas. This year a strong contingent of internationals is expected to take part. Currently the Formula Junior category is enjoying a worldwide revival, having been the nursery class for so many of the top Grand Prix drivers, and these great little open wheelers will be a feature of the program.
There’s something for everyone, with as many as 13 different historic categories from the 1920s to the ’80s taking part in a three-day weekend of great motor sport action. As well, hundreds of display cars will be on show including the Repco Brabham BT19, designed by Ron Tauranac, which Jack Brabham drove to four Grand Prix victories in 1966.
Everything is conveniently located at Sandown Park, Springvale.
