Major Prize Giveaway: The entrant selected in the Main Entrant Selection Draw will play a game of chance to win $1 Million. The Major Prize Giveaway will take place on Friday 20th January 2017 at 2:30pm (AEST) at Ali Baba Head Office, 29 Williamson Rd, Ingleburn NSW 2565.
Draw Details for the Main Entrant Selection Draw: The Main Entrant Selection Draw will take place at 12 noon (AEST) on 07/12/2016 at Headmark, Suite 9/1 Danks St, Waterloo NSW 2017.
Prize Details for the Main Entrant Selection Draw: One entrant will be randomly selected from the pool of all valid entries. This selected entrant then enters into the Major Prize Giveaway element of this competition.
Major Prize Giveaway: The entrant selected in the above draw will then play a game of chance to win $1 Million Dollars at the above stated time and location.
Total Prize Pool: The maximum value of the prize to be won is $1,000,000 AUD.
Entry Limits: Entrants may enter as many times per person per day provided that each entry is based on a separate Eligible Purchase in a separate transaction.

If the selected entrant cannot attend the Major Prize Giveaway they may select a proxy to participate on their behalf with pre-written approval.
Unclaimed Prize Redraw Details: Should the original entrant selected not claim their spot to play the game of chance to win the $1 Million a redraw will be conducted at 12:00pm (AEST) on 12/12/2016 at the same location as the original draw.
Unclaimed Prize Draw Notification and Publication: The entrant selected from the redraw will be notified by phone and email and their Name and State of Residence will be published on

Unclaimed Prize Claim Date and Time: The entrant selected from the redraw must communicate their acceptance to play the game of chance to win the $1 Million Giveaway by 11:59pm on 14/12/2016. 1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry to the competition commences 09:00am (AEST) on 04/10/2016 and finishes at 11:00pm (AEST) on 04/12/2016.
3. Entries must be received during the Competition Period. Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are received by the Promoter’s database and not at the time of submission by the entrant. Failure of an entrant to provide their original receipt (without alteration) to the Promoter upon request (which the Promoter can make at any time during and/or after the Competition Period) may, at the Promoter’s discretion, result in an invalid entry (and, at the Promoter’s discretion, in all of the entrant’s entries being invalid). The Promoter is not liable for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence due to error, omission, tampering, deletion, theft, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over communications networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or
otherwise. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred. 4. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
5. Entries to this competition are void if the receipt used as an entry is stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.
6. Multiple entries are permitted. Customers can enter as many times as they like during the promotional period using the above method and ensuring they retain all original receipts as proof of purchase.
7. The Major Prize Giveaway will take place on Friday 20th January 2017 at 2:30pm (AEST) at Ali Baba Head Office, 29 Williamson Rd, Ingleburn NSW 2565. The winner’s details will be advertised on
www.alibaba.com.au from Monday 23rd January 2017 for a period of 28 days.
8. The main entrant will be provided with transportation by Ali Baba to attend the Major Prize Giveaway.
9. The Major Prize Giveaway will entail 500 identical envelopes being displayed. Each envelope will contain a card inside with a message. Only one envelope will contain the $1 Million prize message written on the card inside. The main entrant has a single opportunity to select one envelope.
10. If the winning $1 Million envelope is selected, the Main Entrant will receive a cheque in full within 30 days from the major prize draw.
11. The prize is non-transferable.
12. The entrant selected in the Main Entrant Selection Draw will be notified in accordance with the above details. By entering this competition, each entrant requests that his or her full address not be published.
13. The winners consent to the Promoter using their name and image in promotional material.
14. The Promoter may require entrants to provide proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion.
15. The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the competition or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent or effect of annoying, abusing, threatening or harassing any other person or behaves in a manner which may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related bodies corporate or the agencies or companies associated with this competition, is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate.
16. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). Nothing in these conditions restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
18. Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage, loss or delay in transit of the prize. Delivery of the prize is within Australia only.
19. The Promoter may communicate or advertise this competition using Facebook. However, the competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Each entrant completely releases Facebook from any and all liability.
20. If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the relevant gaming authorities if required.
21. The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where this competition involves, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants will follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
22. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and Major Prize Giveaway, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
23. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about entrants to include entrants in the promotion and to contact entrants in relation to the promotion via any media. If the personal information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By participating in the promotion, each entrant also acknowledges that a further primary purpose for collection of entrants’ personal information by the Promoter is to enable the Promoter to use the information to assist the Promoter in improving its goods and services and, where an entrant has consented, to contact the entrant in the future with information on special offers or provide the entrant with marketing materials via any medium including mail, telephone and commercial electronic messages.
