Lend a Hand for a Chance to Win - members - multiple entries permitted

Hi Everyone,

As we head toward another Christmas, I would like to take some time to share the following observation and quote (original author Charles Osgood):

"Once upon a time there were four people named Everybody, Somebody, Nobody and Anybody.

When there was an important job to be done, Everybody was sure Somebody would do it.

Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did.

When Nobody did it,

Everybody got angry because it was Somebody's job.

Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Somebody realized that Nobody would do it.

So it ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody that Nobody did what Anybody could have done in the first place."

Intermittently and repeatedly, some competitions that are posted in the competitions to be posted section expire before making it into their respective homes on this site.

Once again, it appears that a minority of ACC'ers are undertaking the bulk of the work to keep ACC running for us all. We should all be contributing to the running of the site in order to maintain its effectiveness and the accuracy of the information.

As such, I am running another Lend a Hand competition.


Terms and Conditions:

1. This promotion will run from 24th November, 2016 until midnight 15th December, 2016.
2. Any invalid entries will be eliminated.
3. Any member found to have cheated will be disqualified.
4. No discussion will be entered into regarding this promotion as the reasoning behind it is self-evident.
5. I will not entertain any complaint regarding, "I would post more competitions but no-one has shown me how to..." There is information available on how to post competitions on this site and the moderators would appreciate some more help and will be happy to guide you.
6. There will be two winner will each receive 12 months of Compfolio. If the prize winner already has Compfolio, the winner or winners can elect to have their prize gifted to another member who is aged 18 years or above.
7. The winner will be advised by pm and on this list three days after the competition has closed off. It is up to the winner to contact the promoter (snuggle1) no later than seven (7) days after the drawing of the promotion with their contact details for prize delivery. The promoter will endeavour to have the prize organised within three days of the winner providing his or her detailsdetails.
8. The promoter reserves the right to amend to terms and conditions of this promotion.
9. All entrants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this promotion.
10. In order to have a successful entry, entrants will need to visit ACC's competitions to be posted section and find five competitions that have not already been posted on this site. The entrants will then be required to follow ACC's guidelines regarding posting a competition for all of the applicable five or more entries. Once this has been completed, the entrant can forward me all five hyperlinks for each of the five postings. Having submitted a successful entry, the applicable member will then have an entry into the draw. If your entry is invalid - any violation will result in your entire entry being disqualified.
11. For the avoidance of doubt, I will be checking using the available information if the competition has been posted beforehand. If it has, please advise on the Competitions to be posted section and the moderators will resolve this.
12. This promotion is designed to give the regular posters a rest and encourage some other members to be more active on this site.
13. ACC members aged 18 years or above are eligible to participate.
14. Total prize value is unavailable as promoter is currently uncertain if more than one prize will be drawn.
15. Method of draw will consist of twonames being drawn from a vessel on the due date.
16. The promoter will not tolerate any complaints regarding the validity of their entry - it is up to the participants to ensure that their entry is compliant and no discussion will be entered into.
17. Multiple entries are permitted and encouraged.
18. The promoter is ineligible to enter.

p.s. Yes, I know that I have not been around here comping much this last year and a half and advise that this will alter in the New Year and this is a chance to give back to the members who have been undertaking the mammoth task of posting an extraordinary amount of competitions and keeping this forum active.

Furthermore, there is approximately $200,000 worth of competitions that need to be rehomed on this forum and the posters deserve a break.
