At Christmas last year I was totally burnt out. I was bone achingly tired and stiflingly dull inside. And worst of all, I felt indifferent – to everything.
So, I decided to make 2016 my ‘gap’ year. I took a step back from Checks and Spots and in between my consulting projects I travelled. I tried new things and returned to old things I had forgotten all about. I created white space to wonder, prioritise and grow more than in another year of my life.
And now that 2017 is on the horizon, I’m ready to return to my old friend, blogging.
