These terms and conditions, including information on how to enter, and a description of the prize that may be won in the Promotion, apply to the "VDKA6100" My Dan Murphy's competition. Acceptance of the My Dan Murphy's program membership terms and conditions and participation in the My Dan Murphy's competitions constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and any Competition Details.
Entry is open to validly registered My Dan Murphy's members who are over the age of 18 and are residents of Australia ("Eligible Entrant").
Employees and their immediate families living in the same household as the employee of Woolworths Limited and its related entities, printers, suppliers, providers and agencies involved in this competition are ineligible to enter.
Definitions within these Terms and Conditions:

Eligible Entrant
any validly registered My Dan Murphy's members who are over the age of 18 and are residents of Australia
Product Purchase
has the meaning given to it in paragraph 9 and 10 of these Terms and Conditions of entry.

means the promotion governed by these Terms and Conditions of Entry.
Qualifying Purchase
any purchase excluding tobacco and gift cards.
This Promotion (the "Promotion") starts 07:00am AEDT Wednesday 1st February 2017 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT Tuesday 28th February 2017.
To enter, an Eligible Entrant must make a Qualifying Purchase either at a Dan Murphy's store or online at www.danmurphys.com.au and present their My Dan Murphy's membership card or enter their My Dan Murphy's membership number at the time of purchase during the Promotional Period ("Eligible Purchase").
Eligible Entrants will receive one (1) entry per calendar day irrespective of all the Eligible Purchases made on that day. Eligible Entrants may also receive bonus entries into the Promotion. To receive bonus entries, an Eligible Entrant must purchase a bottle of VDKA 6100 750mL Bottle either at a Dan Murphy's store or online at www.danmurphys.com.au and present their My Dan Murphy's membership card or enter their My Dan Murphy's membership number at the time of purchase during the Promotional Period. The Eligible Entrant will only receive bonus entries if the Product Purchase is the first purchase they make on the day. Eligible Entrants will receive a maximum of five (5) bonus entries per calendar day if the Product Purchase is the first purchase they make on that day.
For the avoidance of doubt, if an Eligible Entrant makes a Qualifying Purchase as the first transaction of the day and subsequently makes a Product Purchase in the same day, the Eligible Entrant will only receive 1 entry into the competition. If an Eligible Entrant makes a Product Purchase as the first transaction on the day, the Eligible Entrant will receive 6 entries into the competition, being 1 standard entry and 5 bonus entries.
There is one (1) major prize for ten (10) people (one (1) winner + nine (9) friends):

MAJOR PRIZE:

One (1) winner and nine (9) friends will attend a 2 hour cocktail making master class run by bartender Kurtis Bosley.

Each of the ten guests will also receive a premium VDKA 6100 cocktail making kit plus recipe book. Each cocktail kit includes only: Cocktail shaker, Cocktail Strainer, Jigger Spoons / measures, Cocktail recipe book, Branded coasters, Branded napkins, Collapsible measuring cup.
Total Major Prize Pool valued at up to $5,250.00 (inc. GST)
Prizes are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at the time of printing.
All components of the prize must be taken together and when offered. Any element of the prize not taken at the time offered will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash. Prize cannot be sold and cannot be redeemed for cash. The prize is non-refundable or transferable.
Event date will be at the discretion of the promoter and will be between April 15th 2017 and September 31st 2017.
The winner's companions must be over the age of 18. The Promoter reserves the right to request a winner's companions (if any) to produce within the requested time appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoter's satisfaction, in its sole discretion) in order to confirm the travel companion's identity and age before issuing a prize.
Subject to the approval process required by any relevant gaming or lotteries authority, in the event that a prize item is not capable of running as planned for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster (including natural disaster), infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or anything which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and/or if necessary, to provide an alternative prize or prizes to the same value as an original prize(s), subject to regulatory approval.
The winner is responsible for any amendments fees issued by suppliers once booking of event is confirmed. The winner (and their companions) are responsible for all other expenses including over what is stated, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, and all other ancillary costs.
To the full extent permitted by the law neither the Promoter nor any of their associated agencies accepts any liability for any injury, damages, expenses or loss whatsoever (whether direct or consequential) to persons or property arising from or in connection with this offer.
The prize draw will take place at Red Jelly, 34-36 Elizabeth Street, Hobart TAS 7000 on 12pm (noon) AEDT on 10th March 2017.
The first (1) valid entry randomly drawn will be the winner of the prize. The prize winner will be contacted by phone, in writing (by email) and the winner's details will be published online at www.danmurphys.com.au and winner's first initial, surname and State of residence in the Public Notices section of The Australian newspaper by Friday 17th March 2017. If the winning entry is invalid, that entry will be discarded and the prize will be awarded by randomly drawing another entry in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry.
In the event that there is a dispute concerning the competition, the judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not claim or redeem the prize, the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize. The Promoter, after allowing reasonable and fair time and having pursued all reasonable endeavours, may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw as may be necessary to distribute the prize in the draw which is unclaimed subject to any written direction given under state regulations.
The unclaimed prize draw will take place at 12pm (noon) AEST on Friday 16th June 2017 at Red Jelly, 34 - 36 Elizabeth Street, Hobart, 7000. In the case of an unclaimed prize draw the winner will be notified by phone, in writing, on www.danmurphys.com.au and published in The Australian by Friday 23rd June 2017.
Entrants can only enter in their own name. Entrants who provide incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information are ineligible to participate in the competition and all entries of an entrant who is deemed by the Promoter to have provided incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information may, at the discretion of the Promoter, be deemed invalid.
The Promoter reserves the right to request the entrant to produce within the requested time appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoter's satisfaction, in its sole discretion) in order to confirm the entrant's identity, age, residential address, eligibility to enter and claim a prize, and any information submitted by the entrant in entering the competition, before issuing a prize. If the documentation required by the Promoter is not received by the Promoter or an entrant or entry has not been verified or validated to the Promoter's satisfaction then all the entries of that entrant will be ineligible and deemed invalid.
If the Promoter forms the view in its sole discretion that an entry or the entry process for any entrant has been tampered with or otherwise does not comply with these rules or the My Dan Murphy's program terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify that entry.
If for any reason the Promoter determines in good faith and its sole discretion that this competition is not capable of running as planned due to any agent or event beyond the control of the Promoter, which might corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition or which may change the intended result or prevent or hinder its determination, the Promoter, at its discretion and subject to relevant state and territory regulations, may cancel the competition at any time and recommence it on similar terms and conditions when and as determined by the Promoter.
All entries become the property of the Promoter and entries will not be returned. If you enter this competition, the Promoter will collect personal information about you so that you can participate in the competition and the Promoter can administer the competition. The Promoter may use any Personal Information that an entrant has provided to it as part of the competition for the purpose of running the competition and also in advertisements, publications, media statements and other promotional material associated with the competition. To do this, the Promoter may disclose your personal information to its related bodies corporate and organisations to which the Promoter outsources functions, and organisations associated with this competition.
If you are a winner, the Promoter will disclose your first initial, surname and suburb or city of residence and State of residence to the media, who will publish these details. If you do not provide your personal information, you cannot participate in the competition. As a condition of entering this Promotion, an entrant consents to, in the event they are a winner, the Promoter using their (and their guest(s)' if applicable) name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without further notification, remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing the Promotion (including any outcome), and/or promoting any products or services manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. The entrant agrees that, in the event they are a winner, they will participate in all reasonable promotional activities in relation to the Promotion as requested by the Promoter and its agents.
