Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry is only open to SA and WA residents aged 16 years or over who are eligible to travel to Adelaide SA between 02/03/2017 and 05/03/2017 if drawn as a winner in the major draw. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this promotion. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, Participating Caltex Service Stations (as defined below) and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Promotion commences at 12:00am on 6/02/2017 and final entries close at 11:59pm on 26/02/2017 (“Promotional Period”). All times are based on Australian Western Standard Time (“AWST”), unless stated otherwise.
To be eligible to enter;
Residents of WA must purchase either; (a) any amount of Caltex Vortex Premium fuels (including Caltex Vortex 98, Caltex Vortex 95 Premium Unleaded or Caltex Vortex Premium Diesel); OR (b) a copy of The West Newspaper from a Participating Caltex Service Station in WA during the Promotional Period; or
Residents of SA must purchase any amount of Caltex Vortex Premium fuels (including Caltex Vortex 98, Caltex Vortex 95 Premium Unleaded or Caltex Vortex Premium Diesel) from a Participating Caltex Service Station in SA during the Promotional Period.
Each collectively referred to as an (“Eligible Purchase”). Entrants must request their purchase receipt at the time of making an Eligible Purchase if one is not automatically provided to them. A Participating Caltex Service Station is any Caltex Service Station and/or Caltex Woolworths Petrol Service Station in WA or SA that displays promotional material advertising featuring this promotion (each a “Participating Service Station”).
To enter, individuals must then, during the Promotional Period, undertake the following steps:
a) Visit
www.win.caltex.com.au;b) follow the prompts to the promotional entry page and input the requested details and submit the fully completed entry form;
c) Upon submitting a valid entry, entrants will reveal whether or not they are an instant winner.
All valid entries received from winners and non-winners of an instant prize will be automatically placed in the major draw (as outlined below).
Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per transaction associated with an Eligible Purchase; (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements; and (c) a maximum of one (1) entry is permitted per person per day.
Entrants must retain their original Participating Service Station purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the Promotional Period but prior to entry.
Instant Win Prizes
The Promoter will use a computer drawing system to randomly determine two hundred (200) winning times for WA residents and two hundred (200) winning times for SA residents during the Promotional Period (each a “Winning Time”). The first valid entry that is received on or after each Winning Time, will be deemed an instant winner of an instant prize. There will be two hundred (200) instant win prizes available to be won by WA residents and two hundred (200) instant win prizes available to be won by SA residents. Each instant win prize will consist of one (1) $10 StarCash Card.
Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming a StarCash Card are not included. Any unused balance of a StarCash Card will not be awarded as cash and will be forfeited. Redemption of a StarCash Card is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the StarCash Card. Each StarCash Card expires on the last day of the month stated on the reverse of the StarCash Card, or if no month is stated, 12 months after the date of receipt of the StarCash Card.
Major Draws
For the purposes of the major prizes, entries will be divided into groups: WA and SA. There will be one (1) draw conducted for each group (“each a Major Draw”). Each Major Draw will take place at Prime Focus, Level 1, 500 Chapel Street, South Yarra 3141, at 11:00am AEST on 27/02/2017. Prime Focus, on behalf of the Promoter, may draw additional reserve entries for each Major Draw and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. Winners will be notified in writing and telephone within 24hours and must be able to confirm receipt of the prize by 5:00pm AEDST on 28/02/2017.

The first valid entry drawn in the Major Draw for WA residents will win the major prize of a trip for two (2) people to the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide, SA for a VIP track experience valued at $2,200. Prize includes:
Two (2) x return economy airfares from Perth, WA to Adelaide, SA departing Adelaide on 02/03/2017;
Three (3) nights minimum three star, twin share accommodation in Adelaide, SA, with check in on 02/03/2017 and check out on 05/03/2017;
Two (2) one day entry passes to the Clipsal 500 for Saturday 04/03/2017 including a behind the scenes tour.
Spending money, additional meals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), insurance, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. The winner and his/her companion/s must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together. Itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. The winner may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in. Changes to travel dates and/or accommodation after booking confirmation are not possible. The Promoter takes no responsibility for missed connections, flights and mishaps while undertaking the prize, lost baggage or person or property mishaps. The Promoter recommends that winner and their guest/s take out travel insurance. All elements of the prize are subject to availability. It is a condition of accepting the prize that all components of the prize are used during the specified dates. All travel will be booked by the agency specified by the Promoter.
