Terms and Conditions of Entry
1. The Elders Winter Cropping Campaign (Campaign) commences on the 13
th February 2017 at 8:30am local time and closes on the 31st
March 2017 at 5pm local time (Promotion Period).
2. To be eligible to enter the Campaign, an entrant must:
i. Be a resident of Australia.
ii. During the Promotion Period have purchased on one day from any Elders Rural Services Australia Limited (Elders) branch
winter cropping chemicals and canola seed as described in paragraph 3 below, (Product) to the value of $20,000 or
greater (ex GST).
iii. Purchase the Product on a current Elders client account and have received from the branch a tax invoice.
iv. Be 18 years or over.
v. Accept and comply with these conditions.
3. Winter cropping chemicals are those classed as Fungicides, Herbicides, Insecticides, Plant Growth Regulators, Adjuvants, Moluscicides
and Rodenticides. Canola seed includes all new season, bagged canola seed.
4. If a client is eligible, they must complete a valid application on the Elders website at
www.elders.com.au/promotions. There is a limit of
one entry per Elders client account.
5. The prize consists of:
a. $100 prize – client to choose from a $100 EFTPOS card or a $100 donation to the Royal Flying Doctors Service (RFDS). There are 300
$100 prizes to be won with a combined value of $30,000. These will be awarded to the first 300 eligible clients to register in
accordance with paragraph 7 below.
b. $5,000 EFTPOS card. There are 20 $5,000 EFTPOS cards to be won with a combined value of $100,000. The $5,000 EFTPOS cards will
be drawn in accordance with paragraph 8 below.
6. There is a limit of one $100 prize and one $5,000 EFTPOS card per registered Elders account.
7. Promotion draw process for $100 prize:
i. Eligible clients register at
www.elders.com.au/promotions and selects if they would like to receive their prize as either (1) a
$100 EFTPOS card or (2) a $100 donation to the RFDS.
ii. Elders will verify that transactions are valid and entitled to be included in this Campaign.
iii. Registrations will be open from Monday 13th February – Friday 7th April 2017.
iv. Weekly reports will be run by Elders with an updated list of clients that have qualified for the Campaign, and cross checked
against entries made, to ensure the validity of entries.
v. $100 prizes will be awarded to the first 300 valid entrants.
vi. Card will be sent by Registered Mail directly to the client mailing address, obtained during the registration process.
vii. RFDS donations will be processed by Elders and letter of appreciation sent to the client mailing address, obtained during the
registration process.
viii. Details of the winners will also be available on the Elders intranet from Monday 10th April – Friday 12
th May 2017 for access
by Elders staff.

xi. Registrations will be open from Monday 13
th February – Friday 7th April 2017.

against entries made, to ensure the validity of entries.
xiii. A random draw will occur at Elders’ Head Office – 80 Grenfell Street, Adelaide on Wednesday 12 April 2017 at 3pm CST.
xiv. All prizes will be sent by Registered Mail directly to the local Elders branch address, obtained during the registration process.
xv. The winner will be notified by telephone call and in writing.
xvi. Details of the winners will also be available at
www.elders.com.au/promotions from Tuesday 18th April – Friday 12
th May
2017.
9. Elders reserves the right to confirm all entries to the Campaign are valid and seek further clarification from Elders and the Client to prove
purchase/s, entries and compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
10. Elders and its agents are not responsible for lost, illegible, misdirected, incomplete or damaged entries. Elders or any of our other service
providers are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information; human error; technical malfunctions; lost or
delayed entries. Any liability of any of the above persons for any incidental or consequential damages, however caused, whether in
contract or in tort, arising out of this promotion or use of entries or prizes is expressly disclaimed and excluded.
11. Elders’ decisions in relation to this Campaign, including the eligibility of transactions to participate in this Campaign are final and no
correspondence will be entered into in relation to them.
12. The winner is liable for any taxes, levies and duties resulting from participating in the Campaign or receiving the prize.
13. Elders and its agents will not be liable for loss, theft, or misuse of any cash payment or property damage, personal injury, or misfortune
in any way attributable to the Campaign.
14. Elders and its agents will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase or use of any eligible product purchased under
this Campaign, other than to the extent required by law or any other terms and conditions entered into between the entrant and Elders
for the sale and purchase of farm supplies.
15. All entries become the property of Elders. The entries may be used by Elders for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes
unless otherwise stated by the entrant.
16. The Elders APP Privacy policy explains in detail how customers’ data provided to it for the purposes of this promotion will be held, what it
will be used for and how it will be protected. This can be accessed at elders.com.au or by request in writing to Elders.
17. Employees of Elders, and their immediate families, associated companies and agencies are ineligible to enter the promotion.
18. Except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, Elders will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim that
may occur, including but not limited to those sustained or suffered:
i. as a result of the collection of customer details by Elders; or
ii. in the use of the eligible product.

20. Any dispute arising out of or in relation to the competition shall be governed by the laws of South Australia.
